Escape to the lovely Blue Isle Retreat! Built in 2021, this home is spacious, well appointed, and comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests. Spend time in our spacious back yard with a private pool and lovely marsh view! Or take a short walk to the beach. Blue Isle Retreat is conveniently located between two public beach accesses. *Pool heater available for cool spring and fall visits at an additional cost of $100 per day with a three day minimum. *Pool measures 12ft by 28ft. Pool depth from 3.5ft to 6.5ft. Enjoy the convenience of an elevator for loading your luggage and belongings on the ground level covered parking area. The 1st floor offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath. Also, a generous sitting area equipped with a mini bar, video game console, and a large game table - perfect for the kids to hang out. There is a full size laundry room with washer and dryer as well.
The 2nd floor (top) offers an open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen, a dining table that seats 8 and bar seating for 9. Outdoor dining for 6 is available on front deck. Enjoy the tranquil living area with plenty of light and the convenience of a 1/2 bath. There are 2 master bedrooms on this floor with lovely marsh views.
There are various decks and covered porches where you can enjoy watching coastal wildlife, dining and gathering. A gas grill and charcoal grill are available for your use by the pool deck. By the pool is a turf area you can use for sunbathing or playing corn hole. An outdoor shower and poolside bathroom are located on the ground floor. Enjoy the outdoor covered area with a bar, under counter ice maker, tv, and seating for conversation. There is a dining table for 6 by the pool. The renter's closet on the ground floor includes beach and pool supplies and an additional standard size refrigerator.
Take in wonderful sunrises and sunsets from the front porch. Stay connected and entertained with 7 large flat screen TV's, WiFi and Sonos Sound/Speaker system. We also have two bikes for strolling around the area, beach and pool toys to use during your stay. Ocean Isle is a great place for off season golf and the popular Oyster Fest weekends. Not to mention free, family friendly outdoor concerts every Friday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day at the Town Center Park.

Perfect family vacation at Blue Isle

I cannot say enough about how perfect this property was for my large family of 12. We had three families with children and everyone felt like we had our own space. The kitchen is large and was able to accommodate several people cooking at the same time and had all the necessary equipment and more for any cooking needs. The pool and backyard was by far the favorite of the children and adults. The beach is a quick walk away too! Such a great location. Communication with Jennifer was pleasant and she was extremely responsive when I had any questions.This was one of the best VRBO houses I have stayed in by far.

The perfect getaway at the beach

Great Time

This is my second time renting this home because it accommodates all the needs for someone out of state. Not only is this home beautiful but it is in a great location to beach access, beautiful march lands in the back and a wonderful pool. OIB is Great & this is a Wonderful Location

OIB is a great family beach. This location is a short 2 block walk to the beach or a very short golf cart ride. The stash of pool toys, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas , and beach towels was fantastic. No need to order beach stuff. The lower level bathroom is a plus. The third floor kitchen may seem strange but it is for the views. Well equipped kitchen, we cooked and ate most of our meals at the house. Nice views over the marsh without back door neighbors. (There are side door neighbors.). No toiletries provided. (some VRBOs do). We did the off season and it is so nice, very few people at the beach. we have come to OIB off and on for the past 45 years and this is our favorite property.

Couldn't Ask For More!

We stayed with our family and two other families. Twelve people total. This home has everything you could possibly need at a beach house! The cleanest and most well stocked rental we have ever booked. Plenty of room for all three families. The outdoor spaces were the favorite places of the property for the whole group. I would 100% recommend Blue Isle Retreat to anyone. The hosts were very responsive and assured everything went smoothly for our stay.

Exceptional Beach Home

This house is nearly perfect. It is well maintained, clean, well stocked, and very spacious inside and out. The owners are very responsive. I also appreciate some significant upgrades since last year; a bathroom on the pool level, an extra refrigerator by the pool, an ice machine, and a gas grill. We enjoyed all these upgrades this year. This house is perfect for our needs and we will be back next year!

Best Beach House

You really can't ask for much more in a Beach House. Jennifer and Jim did an amazing job of anticipating our every need. The kitchen came stocked with every kitchen utensil, linens and towels were clean and plentiful, the shed was packed with beach chairs/toys/umbrellas. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 12 people and our favorite space was the outdoor bar area in the back. We loved hanging out there while the kids splashed around in the pool. The house is a really quick walk to the beach, which is only a block away. If you're looking for a beach house for a great summer vacation with family/friends, you can stop looking now. You've found it.

This was our 2nd spring break at Blue Isle Retreat and it will not be our last. The property is so clean and has all the amenities that you could want. Extended family vacation

We gifted thus trip to our children and grandchildren last Christmas. It was an amazing week for all. The kids absolutely loved the pool and pool basketball hoop. The house was fantastic and just as the photos showed. The location was perfect, just a quick golf cart ride away. Having 3 floors in the house made it great for everyone to spread out and have quiet time when wanted. The storage room by the pool had everything you need fir the pool and the beach! Jennifer was quick to respond with answers to our questions. The kids have all begged to come back again. Thank you for such a great experience and for sharing your home with us!!

Team work

A beautifully decorated home with well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed each level of the house at different times during the week. Pool offers privacy that was an unexpected bonus. An extra trash can is needed for large groups as we found the trash can full upon arrival. Wish we had known about the elevator being out prior to check in, it was a little disappointing when we arrived. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family! Overall enjoyable experience.

Blue Isle Resort is an exceptional house! The owners have taken extra effort to provide many conveniences to accommodate your stay. The kitchen is the best equipped ever! And all beach items provided saved us space packing. The Sonos sound system was an added plus. Jennifer was super responsive before and during our stay. Amazing vacation

This property just about has everything you can possibly need for a beach vacation. The house is extremely spacious and clean and the backyard is an amazing hang out where we spent most of our time. We had a group of four families with children and the weather was also phenomenal, which made it even better. The owners were very easy to communicate with and were super friendly and helpful. A dream was realized when we purchased this beautiful beach home a year ago! Growing up vacationing with my family at SC beaches all my life, I was unaware of this island gem called Ocean Isle. Jim and I vacationed at Ocean Isle for the first time with close friends a few years ago. Fast forward to 2021.....a friend who recently purchased a canal home talked us into pursuing our dream of buying a beach house to share with friends and family and maybe grandkids one day! This house was barely on the market and we found it to be exactly what we wanted. We chose Ocean Isle for its small town charm, wide pristine beaches, and plenty to do for both adults and kids. And if you are looking for big city excitement, it is a short drive to Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.

A big seller was the peaceful, private backyard marsh view. We love the open feel of our home, spacious bedrooms and common areas, and the soothing coastal colors and decor throughout. The additional kid friendly living space is a plus. After a long day on the beach, it is truly a retreat - away from the crowds and a quiet spot to cool off by the pool or hang out on one of the porches.
