Vom Wohnbereich und den Lanais aus hast du einen Rundumblick auf den Strand und das Meer. Sogar von der Küche aus hast du Meerblick! Diese private Ferienwohnung direkt am Meer befindet sich im zweiten Stock des Gebäudes … etwa 30 Schritte den Weg entlang führen dich zum Juwel des südlichen Maui, dem Keawakapu Beach!

Der Keawakapu Beach an der Südküste von Maui, Hawaii, ist bekannt für seine atemberaubende natürliche Schönheit und seine ruhige Atmosphäre. Dieser malerische Strand ist ein beliebter Ort für Einheimische und Stammgäste und besticht durch weichen, goldenen Sand, klares Wasser und üppiges Grün in der Umgebung. Es ist ein großartiger Ort für Familien, um zu schwimmen, zu schnorcheln, sich zu sonnen und am Ende des Tages den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Das Gästezimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten, die zu einem Kingsize-Bett zusammengestellt werden können (auf Anfrage und nach Genehmigung). Im Wohnzimmer steht ein Queensize-Schlafsofa. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit hocheffizienten Split-Klimaanlagen ausgestattet (im Hauptwohnbereich gibt es keine Klimaanlage).

Hale Hui Kai ist sowohl bei Erstbesuchern als auch bei Stammgästen sehr beliebt. Neben der überdachten Lanai im Gemeinschaftsbereich befindet sich ein kleiner gemeinschaftlicher Pool direkt am Meer, der mit bequemen Liegeplätzen ausgestattet ist, auf denen ihr euch ausruhen könnt, wenn ihr eine Pause von der Sonne Mauis braucht. In dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand stellen wir euch Strandtücher, Strandstühle und eine Strandkühlbox zur Verfügung. Wir empfehlen euch, Strandausrüstung (wie Sonnenschirme, Schnorchelausrüstung, Paddleboards, Boogieboards usw.) bei einem der vielen Verleihunternehmen auf Maui zu mieten.

This unit had some dirty items left behind by a previous guest, and no toiletries in it (not a single bar of hand soap in any bathroom drawer/cabinet etc.) The furniture and layout are not as nice as some other units in the building, but it’s still a beachfront condo in Maui.

Great walks on the beach, sunset view, small pool was deep and refreshing. Close to shopping and great surfing lessons. The unit, itself, was clean; however it had these issues. In addition, there weren’t any screens on the windows and with the slats open, as you need them to be for air flow since there is only AC in the bedrooms, any critter can get in. We ended up staying somewhere else as this issue made everyone uncomfortable!

There was a warm spell on the island. The kitchen and living room area were not air conditioned and so became quite warm in the late afternoon. The two bedrooms were air conditioned which allowed for relief from the heat. The Kitchen and living room would cool down in the morning when we had the doors to the lanai open and the door in the kitchen open allowing a cross breeze. The lanai was very nice to sit and view the ocean. We had a good time playing cards out on the lanai.

Family Vacation in Maui

This place is amazing! We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this was by far the best stocked we’ve been in. Plenty of cooking utensils, towels, etc. Cannot beat this location! Literally walked right out to the beach, the condo looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Super family friendly location. Enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrellas provided as well. Our last day at the beach we got to swim along with a sea turtle making his way out to deeper waters! There are lava rocks/coral just in front of condo which make for great snorkeling, or go down a few more steps to just sand! Very clean condo, check in and check out was super easy. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

The property was absolutely perfect. We had a west facing second floor two bedroom condo that overlooked the ocean and the west side of Maui. We saw spectacular sunsets every night. The property was very well maintained. We loved it.

Long time Hale Hooers (Hui Kai)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying here, and have regularly over 25+ years. This particular unit is very nice. The best views for sunsets from the lanai. The only down side is the sofa sleeper, while comfortable, is noisy ever time you move, roll over or exit. There were only 4 wash clothes and only 1 set of king sheets for the master bed. For the price, it should be better stocked. Only 4 beach towels, and there were 6 of us. But, a nice unit over all, and beautiful furnishings.
