Beschreibung des Hauses: Genießen Sie unser großes und wunderschönes Luxushaus auf dem Wasser und in Gehweite zum Strand im Zentrum der Keys. Wir haben vier Schlafzimmer, zwei mit einem Kingsize-Bett, eines mit einem Ausziehbett (2 Einzelbetten), eines mit zwei Queensize-Betten. Es gibt ein Wohnzimmer, ein Familienzimmer, eine große Kücheninsel (Viking Appliances) mit einem angrenzenden Esstisch mit 8 Stühlen und 2 Hockern zum Essen auf Barebene. Es ist ein sehr großes Haus mit Marmorböden, Kamin, Aufzug, Pool und Whirlpool.

Umgebungsbeschreibung: New Luxury Home befindet sich am schönen Sombrero Beach. Zu den Annehmlichkeiten in der Umgebung zählen fantastisches Angeln, Kajakfahren, Segeln, Wasserski, Golfen, Tennis, Fahrräder, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und viele Restaurants am Wasser. Zu den Annehmlichkeiten am Strand zählen Volleyball, ein Kinderspielplatz, Grillmöglichkeiten, Picknicktische und eine malerische Aussicht auf die Sandstrände sowie atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge. Für zusätzliche Unterhaltung ist Key West eine schöne Küstenstraße mit viel Nachtleben, die berühmte '7 Mile Bridge' ist 2 Meilen südlich oder Swim with the Dolphins. Wenn Sie Lust auf Bewegung haben, finden Sie nur wenige Schritte vom Haus entfernt einen 4-Meilen-Rad- / Laufpfad und ein Laufband im Haus. Wir hoffen, dass Sie die Gelegenheit haben, die Florida Keys so sehr zu genießen, wie unsere Familie das schöne Wetter und das maßgefertigte Haus genossen hat.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house in Marathon! The convenience of the beach steps away, the pool and hot tub to relax by and the dock to do some fishing was superb!! Our family will definitely be back!

Nice house. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Though some baths needed shelves for makeup and shaving gear. The kitchen had high end appliances, but the Viking freezer couldn't keep ice cream cold.

Great stay in Marathon!

This house is large, clean, has a great pool and great location. Literal 3 minutes walk to Sombrero Beach. 5 minute car ride to Publix or Winn Dixie supermarkets. A/C worked extremely well, even when temps and humidity were both in the 80s. Great communication with owner Andy. Large gourmet kitchen with high end appliances (we didn't really though). Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Superb Location and Property

Stayed with my wife, two young kids, and two extended family members. The property was beautiful and while close to the beach, quiet. We saw manatees in the canal, with one coming directly up to the dock. Unfortunately a rare cold snap occurred while visiting and only could use pool a couple days, though enjoyable and well-maintained for use. Highly recommend the property.

Great home for a large group

The home was perfect especially for a large group of friends. Great location - easy boat access to the Atlantic, sombrero beach is across the street and close to Publix. The owner was very kind and responsive. He went out of his way to accommodate a post surgery need I had.

Wonderful and beautiful

Beautiful, spacious ,clean and close to Sombrero Reef. Beautiful pool, great dock space, tons of balconies. The beds are comfortable to. Good parking and an elevator that worked. House has a lot of stairs inside and outside. All spacious rooms and plenty of bathrooms. Super nice.

Fabulous

The home is beautiful and was just right for our family ages 15-80. Close to the beach, close to town (marathon) and off the main thorough fare so quiet and peaceful. Easy stroll to watch the sunset each night. Thank you and would certainly stay again if in the Keys.

we enjoyed our stay in Marathon at this property. it is a nice layout with plenty of room and is especially well located with a short one block walk to Sombrero Beach. the owner was very easy to communicate with and was very cooperative and attentive to requests. the home is starting to show some age, however, and could use a bit more maintenance and some updating at this price point.

This property was well cared for, well furnished, well equipped and spacious. The pool area is a nice addition although I wish the hot tub had gotten hotter. Fantastic location a short walk to Sombrero Beach for fabulous sunsets. Love the coral decks and multistory East and West facing balconies. Well located near grocery stores and local activities such as manatee kayaking and the Sea Turtle Hospital. Highly recommend.

Great home & prime location for Sombrero Beach & Sister’s Creek Ocean access

Andy, the owner, was very responsive with any questions we had from the time of rental throughout our stay. Grandparents enjoyed the ease of elevator mobility & children enjoyed the pool. Fishing off the large private dock, short walks to the beach, & enjoying the visiting manatee in the canal were highlights this week. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood for a week over the past few years; however this home was our favorite rental by far. Cookware & appliances were nice, HVAC cooled the home well, layout & design of the home was very functional.

Great House, Great Location, House needs some TLC.

This is a great house and amazing location. Easy 2-minute walk to the beach and you can even see the ocean from the balcony. House is a great size with 3 big bedrooms upstairs and 1 smaller bedroom downstairs. We stayed with 2 adults and 6 teenagers and it was perfect. Pool and spa were really pretty and the heat on the spa was perfect.. The only drawback is that the house needs some TLC. Light fixtures were out, kitchen utensils need replacing, new utensils needed and furniture could use some updating. House manager, Andy, ,was FANTASTIC -- incredibly responsive and helpful and got us a few items we needed the very next day. I'd stay here again for sure but would bring a few more things from home to make it more user friendly.

Beautiful but .....

The house is beautiful, the location is perfect, Andy and his team are extremely responsive, but we couldn’t use the kitchen pretty much our entire stay due to an ant infestation. One type looked like a basic ant that we could clean away, but there was a second type that bit and left us all with itchy bites. Not a crumb could be left on the counter or floor without a swarm of ants appearing. We also found them in and around the living room couch. If it wasn’t for this recurring issue the house stay would have been worth the price.

Fantastic Stay!

First, communication with the owner was fantastic; immediate and concise. He was very available and helpful. The location of this home is perfect, close to everything. 2 minute walk to the beach and a 4 minute drive to grocery stores. The large kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for any kind of cooking. The separate ice machine was a huge bonus! The beds were comfortable and the bedding inviting. Plenty of towels and beach towels are provided. The pool area is amazing with lounge chairs for all. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi tremendously. The jacuzzi heated up quickly. There are some pool toys, and we left a few more for future guests to enjoy. We had a pontoon boat for the week docked right out back. A manatee came to visit us at the dock too! Exploring the area from the water was an added luxury. We would certainly stay here again. :)

Spring Break from Minnesota

Fantastic stay. The property is about 300 feet from Sombero Beach, but far enough down the site street that it's private. Beautiful outdoors and back yard, with a deck running the length of the main floor, and balconies in two of the upstairs berooms overlooking the back yard, pool and dock. Very clean, very well maintained - REALLY nice kitchen appliances. There was plenty of room and everything was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is about 2 miles off US-1 and houses are very well maintained and landscaped, but you're close enough to the highway that a Publix, Winn-Dixie, CVS, and other stores are less than 5 minutes away. We enjoyed walking out to dock every day. We rented kayaks and paddleboards and the kids (teens) enjoyed kayaking from the dock around to Sister Creek and Boot Key. The dock is 3-4 feet above the water line, the kids were nimble enough to climb down the ladder and sit into the kayak. Marathon Key is a great spot to be in the central Keys, everything is about an hour away in either direction. We went to Key West, visited the Turtle Hospital, went snorkeling, Bahai Honda state park, and lots of spots on Marathon. Owner Andy was super responsive, answering questions and ensuring a good experience. Great stay, definitely coming back!

This is a beautiful property in an ideal location. The property manager was available and responsive. The pool was perfect for the age group we had with us; the accessibility to the canal was a plus, especially when a manatee visited us, and the beach was close and beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time.
