You will discover that Life is Good when you stay at our three bedroom South Walton vacation home near the beaches of the Emerald Coast. Located in the Frangista Beach community, you will be a short stroll away from the beach. Relax by your private splash pool or have dinner on the brick patio after a fun filled day at the beautiful beach. Free umbrella/chair set up included each day (March-Nov). Walk to the beachfront restaurant Pompano Joe's for a quick lunch or dinner. Fantastic shopping; Destin Commons, Silver Sands Factory Stores and Grand Boulevard are just a short drive away. For a tranquil change of pace, visit HarborWalk and watch the fishing boats come in at the end of the day or even fish yourself on one of the many charter options. Or head over to Dewey Destin's on the bay for a taste of old Florida dining and catch some beautiful sunsets over the bay. Come relax at Life is Good.

New for 2025: No fee increases for 2025. New propane fire pit and outisde seating area with big sreen TV. New large TV in the living room. New furniture, HVAC and appliances. Upgraded high speed internet.

Private beach access is provided through the Hollywood St. gate, and a free umbrella and two beach chairs, reserved in your name (a $600 savings for a week's stay) are provided. Beach towels are provided, and a beach wagon is available to help you haul your things (or small children!) to the beach.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay! Everything about this property fit our needs. It is a short walk to the beach, the chair/umbrella service was set up every day, and the pool was perfect for late afternoon enjoyment. We loved every moment and made lots of memories! We would highly recommend this property!

Cute house that lives big!

For a small cottage this house was amazing! Awesome outdoor spaces and more that enough room for four adults and 2 kids. Location was close to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect vacation

The pictures were accurate, the house was adorable with every amenity you could want. This was just a short walk to the beach and to have private access was super nice. The owners were responsive and polite, and I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the Emerald Coast.

Florida Vacation

We vacationed as a family with our 5 year grandson and 2 dachshunds. It was perfect for us. The backyard was great for our dogs. Kitchen has everything we needed to cook and bake. We enjoyed the walk to the beach also. The plus was a swimming pool at the home. Thank you we loved our stay

Summer Vacation

This was by far the best rental we have stayed at while on our yearly vacation. Only thing I wish we had was a golf cart. But you can’t beat the price for location and private pool overall this was a great choice and I will try and book this home again next summer.

Great house, plenty of space, walking distance to the beach, safe neighborhood, good wifi, chairs & toys available for use, and a clean pool. House itself could be cleaner (countertops, sinks), but overall a great property. Note beach access is through the Hollywood street (not Miami street which would be a closer entry).

Great place!

Had a great time with our family plus pup. Nice size for us. Cute backyard. We ate outside almost every meal. The pool was small but adequate for our needs. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad. I will say if you have elderly family members the stairs to the beach are a bit steep. All in all a great location for walking to shops and the beach.

Well stocked home.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this well stocked home. Everything you need is here. We did have an issue with the air conditioning, and it was fixed the same day. The manager was very responsive. The ease and comfort of this home was exceptional. Highly recommend!

In town for wedding

We enjoyed our stay in Miramar Beach. This cottage is very nice, perfect for small family. It was within walking distance to restaurants, grocery and the beach. Beach access was perfect, our favorite perk of this rental was the 2 beach chairs and umbrella available to us on the beach each day. We used the pool 1 day, but it was small and would rather go to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots and pans. The bed in master was very comfortable. Would love to visit Miramar Beach again!!!

We've vacationed on the Gulf Coast each year for the past 35 years. We rented the Life is Good cottage from the previous owner many times - it just seemed to fit our needs perfectly. In 2021, we convinced the owner to sell the cottage to us, and now we want to share this perfect property with others.
