In diesem sehr komfortabel eingerichteten Haus im Ranchstil erwarten Sie ein atemberaubender Blick auf den Pazifik und den weißen Sandstrand.

Diese spektakuläre Aussicht genießen Sie vom Deck aus, während Sie im Whirlpool oder durch die großen Fenster im Wohnzimmer, in der Küche und im Hauptschlafzimmer entspannen. Ein angrenzender Pfad führt zum Hare Creek Beach, wo der fließende Bach auf die sanfte Brandung trifft. (2018) Der Grund des Strandzugangs ist mit den großen Wellen abgefressen. Es gibt ein Seil vom Weg zum Strand.

Our host was welcoming and communicated throughout - from reservations to checkout. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to relax. We cooked, enjoyed the hot tub, and took walks on the beach. The location was perfect for our family of four plus two dogs. We ate in town and grabbed groceries for breakfasts and relaxing dinners at home. I highly recommend this home, host, and town!

Great location with easy access to the beach (path next to driveway is easier than it looks, but you might need to sit on a step to get down). Also next to the Botanical Gardens and close to just about anything you'd want to do there.

Amazing Location!

The location was wonderful, the house was clean though in much need of updating. The seventies have long past and the cosmetic repairs are very noticeable. It was close to our destination and in a quiet neighborhood. Still, a little expensive for the quality.

Quick weekend trip

Very conveniently situated just outside city limits with beach access. Great views of the ocean, nice quiet evenings and pets allowed! All made for a very nice quick weekend trip to the ocean. This is our second stay in this property, we love the convenience and the beach access.

Had a wonderful stay at Cypress Cove. The space worked wonderfully for our needs. Perfect space, spectacular views, and close to everything we needed. It could use a little updating, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying here again, and that view more than made up for it.

We enjoyed the property and its location. Great views! too bad the telescope is not working and a few of the lights inside and outside the home did not work. Kitchen is a bit small for 6 adults, but we managed it fine. nice location close to town and easy to find. homeless guy at the edge of the property and on the beach was a bit sketchy, but no real issue. Thank you for a pleasant stay

Beautiful ocean view location.

Great spot if looking for a fabulous view. And there is ocean/beach access. (Not easy tho!) The accommodations suited our group of 6 fine. However, be aware that that this property is really in need of a makeover! I think the last update may have been in the 60’s. It has a very dated interior, if that bothers you, don’t rent this one.

Great view with a very poorly maintained house

The view of the beach and ocean made it all worthwhile. The interior is poorly maintained with stained carpet, leaking sink, broken windows, soft floor due to water leak, very old interior with zero updates. If you love the ocean - you’ll be happy but if you like any ambiance inside you are out of luck!

We appreciate your staying at Cypress Cove. When you arrived you called immediately about the broken window (only one window with a small crack not multitudes). We assured you we were aware of it. The next day you called about the leak under the bathroom sink and the soft floor in the bathroom. We offered to have our handyman come and take a look at these items. You said you'd rather wait until after your stay. The leak the under the sink was caused by something pushing against the drain pipe and the soft floor was due to a floor jack under the house coming loose. Both of these could have been repaired within 15 minutes. Yes, the home is older, but as you said "the view of the beach and ocean made it all worthwhile".

Calm, relaxing cove

You couldn't ask for a better location. The view was beautiful. And the trail down to the beach/cove is steps away. There are ropes to guide you down the last few "Earth" stairs, but it's still doable. We were four friends enjoying the minus tides & tiny baby Canadian Geese. Only a few human visitors that weekend. The house was clean & comfortable. As was the hot tub. Easy 11 minute drive to Mendocino made for a perfect day trip. But aside from that, we really didn't feel the need to leave. It's definitely a favorite.

The perfect coastal rental for multiple families and children.

We gathered four families with seven children (6-18) from four states for the week between Christmas and New Years, when we annually come as a couple to Mendocino. This house was perfectly designed for multiple families over three generations with active children: nooks and crannies for children to turn into special spaces; unbreakable furniture; individual sleeping accommodations for adults; plenty of places for individual space, when needed; and yard complete with turkeys, deer, and skunks. The location also provides perfect walking, driving, and bicycle access to the coast and state parks. Management is a joy to work with. If there were more than five stars, we would go all the way.

View great. House not so much.

The views area amazing but the house has not been maintained well. We are here now washing machine doesnt work, can take a bath because plunger doesnt work, dishwasher drains onto deck and water pressure is very low. I dont feel we got our moneys worth. We will be trying another property for next years vacation. With a little work this would be a dream property.

We did talk to the guest during her stay and explained to her what she considered problems were her not understanding the houses unique features as to compared to her own home. What she considered the washing machine not working was that the agitation on this particular machine operates in a different speed than she is used to. The machine has been and is presently functioning as it was designed. What she considered low water pressure for the home again is normal for this home as we are on a well system and it is kept at 32psi. The water draining on the deck - the only explanation we can possible have is being on the ocean the condensation from the fog and the dew caused dripping from the roof to get the deck to get wet. We found no dishwasher overflow either inside or outside the house. And, lastl,y we explained how to open the drain on the tub - it's one that screws in or out. It is a new tub drain that was installed less than a month ago. There was also an old fashioned rubber plug in the bathroom for use in the tub. We're sorry she had a bad experience.

Stalker?

First off the place was clean and comfortable, but dated. Property Manager sent someone to check on us "spying?"several times in a beatup pick up. I figured out what he was doing after the third time. But first thoughts were, is he stalking us? Is he going to rob us? It was not cool and very unsettling. Unprofessional in my opinion Pictures online are probably 10 years old. The vegetation is overgrown and blocks 30% of the view of cove.

Peter, thanks for staying at Cypress Cove. I'm sorry you thought someone was spying on you. It wasn't us. Perhaps it was a neighbor in that small neighborhood driving back and forth to town on errands.
