I feel so blessed and fortunate to be able to open this amazing land and home to groups of people seeking to share a moment of something different, unique, and special with those they most love and cherish in this Life. I traded New York City for this idyllic setting about eight years ago, and I have never once experienced even a single instant of second guess since the very first gloriously silent and impossibly star filled and peaceful night I found myself in this hidden Paradise... I give my guests space but am available when needed
If I'm lucky, I spend about half my time at the house, in a completely separate addition to your space (with its own parking, entrance, mechanicals, etc...) While I always love meeting and greeting valued passersby, your experience on this amazing property will always feel all your own, and all your needs will be met by co-host Cara whether I am onsite during your stay or not :) We do ask that you leave open access to the side driveway off to the left of the main drive. Four parking spaces are provided for your rental and additional vehicles can be parked in town only half a mile away and carpool up.

This amazing 1885 Colonial escape in Buckland, MA sits on 8 1/2 beautiful acres, just moments from the renowned Glacial Potholes and Bridge Of Flowers in Shelburne Falls. Boasting four bedrooms plus a den and shared spaces, three full bathrooms (as well as a powder room), and a host of top shelf amenities, there is no better place in the area from which to enjoy the delights of the Heart of Western Mass!
No neighbors anywhere in sight helps create a feeling of seclusion and privacy even though you are just a stone's throw from tons of local shopping and attractions!
Please note that we do live on the property part time in an apartment at the back of the property with it's own entrance and utilities. Your rental is completely private and for your use only.
In addition to the picturesque glacial and floral attractions in Shelburne Falls, you can also enjoy quaint shops of local artisans, gourmet restaurants, local coffee shops, live music at Floodwater Brewery and more… we’re also just a few short miles from numerous adventures including Skiing at Berkshire East, White Water River Rafting, Hiking, Thunder Mountain Bike Park, Zipline Canopy Tours, Aerial Adventure Park, Thunderbolt Mountain Coaster, Rock Climbing Adventures and Kayak Courses. Less than 30 minutes to attractions in Southern Vermont as well as the hopping town of Northampton, the Smith Botanical Gardens and all of the attractions within the 5 College Consortium. Less than an hours drive to Mass Moca, Museum of Contemporary Art and a quick day trip to attractions at Tanglewood, The Berkshires and Outlet Shopping in Lee, MA.

Guests will have access to the entire original main house as well as the game room in the barn (with a pool table, ping pong, and foosball) beautiful grounds, which include multiple gorgeous flower garden installations, bountiful fruit trees and bushes, and a host of outdoor lawn space for games, fun and good natured competition (we have corn hole, can jam, yard Yahtzee, bocce and more.) Feel at home and then some with well appointed fully functional bathrooms, closets and common spaces that make your stay easy and completely comfortable. Create memorable meals and special experiences in the spacious kitchen with industrial sized fridge and freezer for your family reunion. And don't forget the awesome outdoor grill that looks out on beautiful gardens and forest. Also, there is a huge fire pit behind the massive picturesque barn (adults only please!) which offers the perfect opportunity to create the ultimate singalong.
