Das Chapman Point House befindet sich auf den Klippen von Mendocino Bay und direkt gegenüber dem Dorf Mendocino. Es bietet eine Aussicht, die seit Jahrzehnten von Künstlern und Sehenden begehrt wird, direkt in Ihrem Wohnzimmer.

Jedes Zimmer wurde 1963 von einem Architekturprofessor erbaut und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und den Mendocino. Das Haus ist von Ehrfurcht erregenden, 150 Jahre alten, von Hand geschnittenen, riesigen Redwood-Balken (wiederverwendeter Bock) umgeben, und der Boden ist 3 "dickes Ahornholz aus einer San Francisco-Kegelbahn. Moderne Möbel in Kombination mit einem schönen Esstisch und einer Bar aus Redwood sorgen für ein warmes und einladendes Haus. Die Kombination von rustikalen und modernen Elementen macht diesen Ort zu einem einzigartigen und besonderen Ort.

Der Hauptwohnbereich bietet einen Panoramablick auf das Meer, durch den Sie tagsüber von den Wellen des Ozeans und nachts von den funkelnden Lichtern von Mendocino fasziniert werden. Bleiben Sie in der voll ausgestatteten Küche und probieren Sie einige der vielen guten Restaurants in Mendocino.

The house was pretty. We like the 2 wings, separate rooms. The kitchen and the living room in the middle. The view was beautiful and the hot tub was very nice. This kitchen was very modern. That's a barbecue, could be updated, but it worked just fine. The beams and the floors we're very beautiful..

Your pictures do not do justice to the wonderful view of the Pacific not only from the deck but also from the large windows in the house. It was a wonderful introduction to the coast. The village and restaurants were lovely.

Great stay on the coast

Wonderful house full of architectural character and big windows framing spectacular views of the coast and Mendocino. The technology worked great (TV, internet, cell service) as did the hot tub. The grounds are well kept and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient to town. Highly recommend.

This home was love at first sight for us, a rustic beauty with huge Timbers In the livingroom , a nice kitchen with all you would need to cook whatever you wish,a big deck off the back with a sunken hot tub, and a million dollar view of mendo village in the distance, quiet and peaceful, staying here is a incredible experience, I highly suggest it.

Views and location were better than we could have imagined. The only suggestions we have are on the bed size in the second bedroom. A double bed does not fit 2 tall people. Not sure why they did not put a queen in there.

The house was breathtaking, and so were the views. Being next to the trailhead to Spring Ranch Nature Preserve was an added surprise! Was a treat to be close to town, yet the property provided the privacy we were hoping for. The house was stocked with all you can need. Morning coffee on the deck and evenings by the fire will be hard to beat anywhere with that view. Thank you for having us!

Location and view were amazing. Linens need upgrade.

The property is absolutely magical. The architecture of the building and how it is positioned on the land with the flora, fauna and the views of Mendocino and the Ocean is second to none. For the price of the rental the linens were old, severely pilly and scratchy to sleep on. In the 2nd bedroom the pillows were rock hard and we were unable to sleep on them (they are decorator pillows not sleeping pillows). It would be convenient to be able to pick up the keys at the property instead of having to drive into town to find them and then having to drop them off again. Modern technology easily affords check in at the property.
