The accommodation is air-conditioned and well equipped, and includes:

## Emplacement
A must-see destination, La Rochelle does not lack assets to charm its visitors. A port city par excellence with its four harbours, the Cité Blanche enchants anyone who looks at the sun-drenched white stone in which the buildings are built. The ocean, omnipresent, stands out as the symbol of the city, sweeping the nostrils of visitors with its mist. Old stones also have a say in this landscape bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, where low coastlines, steep cliffs and sandy coastlines alternate. International exchanges have fostered a unique architectural mix, subject to diverse influences from across the seas. Not far from the shore, the islands of Ré, Oleron and Aix form a natural barrier preventing the waves of the ocean from disturbing the calm of the millennial city. Originally a fishing village founded in the 10th century, it took only two millennia to become an important port. Its dominance in maritime trade lasted until the 15th century. But her rebellious spirit was not to the King's liking and she succumbed to the siege of Richelieu in the sixteenth century. Despite its loss of independence, La Rochelle continues its economic growth through the centuries to the present day thanks to its proximity to the ocean, still at the centre of maritime trade.
