The best Costa Rican experience!
I don’t even know how to describe how unique and beautiful this magical treehouse in the jungle is. We’ve had the most amazing eight nights here! The beds were very comfortable and it was nice having AC in the rooms when you needed it. The kitchen was great and had pretty much everything that we needed. There is only one bathroom upstairs shared for the two main bedrooms and I will say it would’ve been nice to have a second one up there but I totally understand trying to keep everything simple and eco-friendly as possible. Being able to open the house up pretty much completely to the jungle wasan amazing experience. The house being set up and built in the trees makes it the perfect place to hang out with monkeys. The capuchins come through the surrounding jungle throughout the day and sometimes on the railing. The howlers are much more shy And kept their distance but we’re always right around us as well. We loved them all!
Monica, the housekeeper is the sweetest. Cleaning the house daily and cooking us 2 delicious breakfasts. Marvin the groundskeeper and gatekeeper always greeted us with a smile, cleaned the pool every morning and was just always doing something to keep up the property. Agustina, the house manager and concierge was a godsend. She had quads delivered to the house, set up all our dinner reservations, surf lessons with Jesus, pedicure and helped with any and everything we needed beyond that. Jez, the owner was so great to work with and so understanding letting us move our trip with boarder closures and not being able to come the first 2 tries and always so kind.
We went out for most dinners being that there are so many incredible options and we wanted to try them all, and every one of them was great! Make sure to take advantage of TP8. It’s only about a five minute walk from the house so it was really nice not to have to drive through town Since there are no paved roads and it can be a little rough Getting to where you need to go. Make sure you get breakfast at the bakery in town!
We highly recommend renting quads. It’s easier to get around town with and there’s so many places to see that I don’t think we could’ve gotten to had we not had them. The drive from Santa Teresa to Montezuma was amazing and a must if you get quads.
there is so much more to say about this incredible home but you’ll just have to come and experience it for yourself. It’s definitely unlike any other place we have been! Pura Vida!
