Wow, what a view!!!

Our group absolutely loved our stay here!! If you are coming with a group, there is a gorgeous view from every room. All of us (adults 33 and up) thoroughly enjoyed the water slide. The home is located up a steep hill so a car to the beach was super helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!! Highly recommend

Great spot

Villa is beautiful the pool over looked the beach is amazing and the rooms and bathrooms are all good, best thing about this place was the concierge however she responded very fast and make sure you book atvs with her since it’s a hassle to always order a car. Amenities are great, sound system works well and cleaner is always available. Overall great place and great location would go again

Great house amazing views 5 star

This property is amazing. If you are thinking about booking this property just do it. Amazing views. Great pool with amazing slide. Santa Teresa is a fantastic town. Tania was great and helped us with whatever we needed. Rent 4 wheelers and go explore the Nicoya Penisula.

An Amazing Mountainside retreat

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The grounds and housekeeping staff were very kind and attentive. The views are great as is the location. The hill is steep but manageable with a good four wheel drive. The only negative is there is another house being built on the adjacent lot so there is construction noise from time to time.

Great house with spectacular views

We stayed for a month in this beautiful home. Living in the tree tops with the birds, monkeys and reptiles was a very special experience. The views from every room were just stunning and the house was well equipped, including a great sound system. The house is very close to great restaurants and the beach entrance, however, the road up to the house was too steep for us to walk up and down and we recommend 4 wheel drive or a quad to get to the house. The house staff were lovely and easy to get along with, but took some time for us to adjust to others being on the property daily. We would definitely stay here again. We were sad to leave.

Gorgeous place

After a cancelled flight, we were lucky enough to get a last minute booking at Casa Grateful and it was spectacular. The pictures don't do this space justice...the views are literally stunning while the sound of the surf carried up the hillside and lulled us to sleep. We travel often and never take the time to write reviews but this house was incredible and the staff were so helpful given our circumstances. The space itself is gorgeous with perfectly appointed rooms overlooking the ocean, beautiful bathrooms, and a luge-like waterslide from the 2nd floor into the pool that had us promising the kids we'd be back. Even though it could only be a short stay, our family loved this hidden gem and we look forward to returning. Thank you Casa Grateful!

Amazing Views

This property was as beautiful as the pictures and the views were amazing. Watching the surfers in the morning and evening with the sun rising and setting was our favorite. The house is in a safe neighborhood at the top of a hill. The road up is paved, but was still wild to get up and down in our small Rav4. Think double black diamond if you are a skier! We opted to have a chef come in several nights because we enjoyed hanging out in the house as much as going out to restaurants. The wildlife around the house was fantastic. We had so many monkeys and birds to watch. Before I booked the house I debated if we should be down on the beach, but now that I have been to Santa Teresa I prefer the location of this house because of the views. This is a 5 star rental.
