Amazing stay at Casa Keshet

We absolutely loved our stay there! The little two bedrooms, two bathrooms house was perfect for our holidays in Santa Teresa!The location is spectacular, especially since it’s so close to the coolest place in town: Banana beach club! The house was clean, well equipped and the communications were easy and efficient with the house manager! We totally recommend this place!

The host was amazing! Communication was great! The home was clean & beautiful! We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend staying here. It was also a short walk to the beach. I can't say enough good things about it! It was just absolutely perfect!

2 weeks in Playa Santa Theresa

Lovely home very close to the beach and across the street from a small but lovely restaurant/grocery/shopping plaza. This is a very private space. The yard is wrapped in an 8 foot + fence. The walk to the beach is through the Banana Beach bar /restaurant. Great breakfast there and a lively outdoor dining scene on the waterfront. Maid service was a nice touch.

Lovely property and a fantastic location being 50 meters from the Banana Beach resort, restaurant and beach / surf break. Rocio was super helpful. If we were to make one observation the property is next to a car park which despite the high fences, does get a noisy at times and can be busy to park in. However there’s plenty of alternative parking nearby.

Cute little place

We loved our stay at Casa Keshet. The pictures make it seem bigger than it is. We stayed in the first week of October (the rainy season). It was fabulous, we had the beach to ourselves and the dogs who would visit. Unfortunately Banana Beach Bar and Restaurant was closed while we stayed, so we did not get to enjoy that. There are great restaurants to the left and to the right, up the beach. They treated us fantastic. The host was great and easy to contact. She was helpful with scheduling excursions. She had extra towels delivered when we needed.

The property was clean and spacious, and a very nice proximity to the beach. The property manager Milena contacted me once my plane landed in Liberia in order to make sure the check in process was seamless. The only thing to be aware of is that the property borders the parking lot to Banana Beach, so there can be a lot of street and traffic noise as well as a lot of pedestrian traffic right outside the fence. This was not problematic for us, but might be if you are looking for a quiet getaway. We had no issues with security.

To start with the positives-- we really thought the property was in a good location, we felt safe, and the pictures definitely showed the property accurately. Our family of five had plenty of space. There was some wear and tear on the property but definitely fine for a rental property. If you stay here, consider bringing beach towels. They have a list of rules and they strongly do not want you to take the beach towels to the beach. They are for pool use only. What was concerning was that the property manager requested that we pay him in cash for towels that we "ruined"- these were inexpensive white towels that my girls got make up on, and my husband stubbed his toe and got blood on one. They claimed that they were not able to bleach the towels without ruining them so we were asked to pay for them. They requested a cash payment. In reaching out to VRBO, we were told that a host should never ask for cash, all business should be be conducted through the website. Overall, we gave a positive rating because the property was good and we loved the Banana Beach experience overall.

Could be a 5 with some fixes

The location is excellent, the layout is great for 2 couples, the proximity of the restaurant is SO convenient, and the finishes make the place feel nice. However, the place needs some upkeep. The day we arrived, the kitchen sink clogged, the handle in one of the showers came off, one of the mini split AC units put out air that smelled intensely moldy, all of the AC units' filters were filthy...and later in the week, one of the showers clogged and one of the AC units completely stopped working. Basically, the place needs a maintenance refresh. Catalina was super nice and responded promptly, but the sink remained clogged, I had to get on chairs and wash the filters for the AC units, and there was a weird scenario in which the toaster, which worked perfectly for 2 or 3 days, stopped working. Neither my wife nor I could get the toaster to work--we're 40 and can use toasters--and when someone grabbed the toaster for a fix, we were sent a picture of bread being successfully turned into toast. Finally, the sliding glass doors are huge and let a lot of natural light get in, which is great, but opening and closing them is a workout: they're suoer heavy, and because the tracks they're on aren't greased at all, it's actually difficult to open and close them. And then they don't really lock. We were never worried, but still. For the money, we liked it. But for the money, we should have loved it. And it would be easy to get it to that level. Just needs some upkeep.

comfortable house next to a parking lot

We enjoyed our stay in this well designed house that looked just like the photos. The pool didn't get much sun and was too cool to use, but lovely to look at. Once inside the gate you have wonderful privacy and we enjoyed the terrace. Noise from the parking lot just outside was not bad, but Banana Beach is a busy scene, so there are hours when you hear the revving of engines.

Ive stayed in several places in St Teresa and by far this has been my favorite. It’s 1 minute walk away from the beach and you have several restaurants walking distance. Felicia was super nice and very attentive. I recommend it 100%

Better Than Advertised

Can’t say enough about Casa Keshet. The plunge pool was perfect! We all suffer from bad backs, but none of us had any problems during our stay - the beds were great! We were right next to Banana Beach, but there was never any noise. Ate at Banana Beach restaurant quite often. We loved all the dishes we tried and found the staff very friendly and helpful. We got into the routine of going across the street to La Gilda every morning for breakfast - wonderful! Such a great family, great food and such an upbeat place to start the day! The only thing you should be aware of is not many places take charge cards. They are mostly small businesses, and charge cards take a percentage of their sales. We took the day trip to Tortuguero Island with Zumba Tours. Were so happy to see dolphins on the way over, and then coming back we saw an Orca!!!! Very unusual to be seen in Costa Rica, they thought the last sighting was about 4 years ago. The boat followed him for about 15 or 20 minutes, and he just kept gliding up to the surface, then gliding down again for the whole time we were watching. MAGIC! We also saw a big black snake go across the road on our way back from Montezuma, but the less said about that, the better. All in all we would definitely recommend Costa Rica, Banana Beach and Casa Keshet. Also, the Manager, Andreas, did everything he could to make our stay so great. Thank you Andreas, and also Marco, who drove us from and back to the Liberia Airport. I would suggest flying to Tambor from Liberia. It’s a long drive to Santa Therese. Bottom line - would highly recommend.

Truly paradise! Casa Keshet is beautiful-better than the pics even!

Wonderfully appointed. Absolutely loved the daily fresh pastries and daily housekeeping. So close to beach and perfect for watching the sunsets! Banana Beach Bar/Restaurant was fantastic! Our concierge, Andreas, was very professional, helpful, and efficient. Wonderful time! We will be back next year!

Fantastic Location, Fantastic Home

Wow, we had such a great few days in this spectacular home. So fresh and clean, the beds were comfortable, and showers were powerful! The little touches that were added like fresh fruit, fresh flowers and even espresso pods and fresh pastries from the owners Bakery were unexpected surprises. We loved the daily maid service as well. The home is very well stocked with all the nice dishes and large fluffy towels you will need. The pool was my husbands favorite hang out, mine was the patio. The location is very central to the area and truly only steps from Banana Beach with a great bar and restaurant - as well as awesome surfing or surf watching and a great beach. Adi was amazing and very helpful with the rental and information on the local area - Thank you for a wonderful time.

It was a very nice surprise to be just 50m from a very nice beach and top location to hang out at the beach (banana Beach). We could walk everything, supermarkets, restaurants, activities, etc. The house you can see it's brand new with an eye for quality and details. Very nice luxury and comfortable touches. Such an amazing place by the beach

From the moment we arrived the owner guy made us feel like home . every small thing we needed they arranged on the spot . from fishing tour, ATV, flights, surf lessons you name it. the house is so clean and cozy it was beyond our dreams . it is located on the beach and also in the centre of town right next to supermarkets and all the restaurants , the pool is Crystal clear. we also ate at the BANANA BEACH which is also owned by the owners of the house, the food was amazing and the atmosphere there was perfect .

Beautiful place with amazing energy

The house is even more beautiful that it looks in the photos, everithing is really new and in perfect conditions, the house is really well equipted with everithing you will need.,The beds are really cosy. In general the place have a really calm and nice energy. The owners was always happy to help us in everything. It is in a very good location in the town there is a restaurant nearby in the beach walking by a beatiful trail.
