Marissa, our rental manager attempted to reach out and apologize over the phone, but unfortunately your voicemail was full so I wanted to extend our sincere apology here and let you know that we will be refunding you an additional $300. The owner has also offered you a free night’s stay if you’ll consider returning. While we're happy to hear that you loved clean, well appointed interior, gorgeous landscaping, and incredible amenities, we're incredibly sorry to hear that your overall experience at Rock Garden Roost was negatively impacted by the well issue at the home and the lacking customer service. We sincerely apologize for all of the issues and inconveniences you encountered during your stay related to the well water, and we greatly appreciate you sharing your honest and constructive feedback with us. There are plans in place to drill a new well in the coming weeks to avoid this issue and ensure quality control moving forward. Please believe us when we say that this experience is out of the norm and is not a reflection of Greybeard’s high standard of providing gracious hospitality. While we regret that we missed an opportunity to go above and beyond, we hope that the additional refund and free night’s stay speaks to our mission in providing exceptional customer service, and we sincerely hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future so we might regain your confidence and exceed your expectations.

Randi, while we're delighted to hear that you absolutely loved the well-maintained exterior, pristine interior, and sensational views at Rock Garden Roost, we're incredibly sorry to hear that the driveway negatively impacted your experience and would deter you from returning. We were able to connect with the owner, and they shared with us that the road is maintained by the neighborhood POA which was late getting the regular Spring road maintenance scheduled this year. The maintenance is scheduled for the first week of June, and the road will get new gravel to make it leveled and make navigating it less harrowing. The section of road that's currently unpaved will likely remain that way as it would be extremely slippery after a precipitation event if paved. We are happy to hear that the team members at Greybeard were responsive and gracious when you reached out about the driveway issue. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your honest and constructive feedback with us, and we hope that you will consider staying with us again in the near future!
