Dieses elegante Haus verfĂŒgt ĂŒber Gewölbedecken, handgefertigte Felsarbeiten und wurmiges, aus Kastanienholz restauriertes Holz. Es gibt einen Innenkamin und einen auf der vorderen Terrasse aus Stein. Diese beiden Kamine wurden von einem lokalen Handwerker handgefertigt (einige Holz zur VerfĂŒgung gestellt). WĂ€hrend Sie am Feuer entspannen, können Sie die WLAN-Internetverbindung nutzen. Lassen Sie Ihre Sorgen im Whirlpool auf der hinteren Felsenterrasse baumeln.

The location and house were great. The host was amazing and it was fun to meet him and get a history of the house and the area. The kids loved the game room and of course the hot tub was great. We enjoyed the walk down to the horses. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for a lovely time. It was a perfect place to have our family Christmas.

Our host was very welcoming and made sure we had contact info should we need anything. The house was clean and perfect for our visit to Asheville. The atmosphere was awesome...rustic and antique decor was so interesting. Perfect distance to Biltmore and the NC Arboretum (we were there for a Christmas family trip to Biltmore Candlelight tour and the Winter Lights show at the Arboretum). We were also able to enjoy the hot tub, pool table and foosball table. House was fully equipped with everything we needed and more! We will visit again!

The My Place cabin was great and looked like photos posted. Very clean place overall. The kitchen was well stocked, pool table and hot tub were fun for everyone. Easy to get to from the airport, local restaurants and farm store. Unfortunately, the outside fireplace vented smoke into the house so we were unable to use after 1st time. It is at the very top of the extremely steep driveway for anyone not used to driving in the mountains. Overall, we would love to stay again, maybe at the bigger place closer to the road. Frank was very responsive to texts.

Had the best time here. Owner met us the first day to go over everything with us, which was extremely helpful. Home is clean, open & well thought out. Peaceful, relaxing, great location, ect. We were able to check out Mt Mitchell, The Biltmore, The Smoky’s, Downtown Asheville & local sections of the Blue Ridge parkway during our stay. Lastly, make sure you grab some carrots to feet the 3 horses, 2 donkey’s & goat at the bottom of the hill. We will be back!

The property is meticulously maintained and embraced by breathtaking mountain and forest vistas. The home was built with exceptional attention to detail and adorned to honor the family’s rich heritage and connection to place. Upon arrival we were greeted by owner, who acclimated us to the property and surrounding areas, offering numerous suggestions for places to visit and eat during our stay. Our stay was a year after the horrific floods and landslides from Hurricane Helene, and in spite of the devastation and ongoing efforts to repair and restore roads and structures, the local community is as resilient and welcoming as ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain vacation and highly recommend this property, the local businesses and town as a wonderful place to visit.

Phenomenal Cabin

We loved this ultra modern cabin with clean uptodate facility and property. Best of all there are farm animals which my kids loved it so much and made the trip so much more memorable for our vacation. The communication from the Property owner is beyond exceptional

Great Stay

Had a wonderful time at Frank's property! We really enjoyed the amenities—the hot tub, pool table, and foosball. There was plenty of space to gather while also having room to spread out. Frank provided excellent recommendations for both Fairview and Asheville. The fresh eggs on arrival were a nice touch, and we loved feeding the animals—bring some carrots! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful property! NC Strong

From the hot tub, to the comfortable beds, to the laundry detergent, to the farm fresh eggs, this house comes with everything you need for a great stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, with a large dining room table for working, eating and playing cards. Kids especially loved the hot tub, pool table, foosball table and animals in the barn. Frank went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay, sharing the best local spots, making horseback riding reservations for us, and even opening up another one of his properties so I could have a private massage when the kids' plans were cancelled due to rain! Despite the closures and destruction from Helene, there was plenty to do and see. Do what you can to help Western NC by supporting local businesses, starting with this family-owned rental property. We look forward to coming back soon!

Awesome place!!

Our stay at the “My Place” house at The Cove at Fairview” was wonderful. Frank was extremely hospitable and helpful. The house was very cozy, warm, spacious and inviting. Having a hot tub in 40 degree weather was an added bonus as well as the fresh eggs (an added treat!)We look forward to returning the the Cove this summer.

Long weekend for a destination wedding

The house was very nice and had all the amenities. The hot tub area and the outdoor fireplace were really nice, we used both. Down the hill, up in the woods is a Koi Pond and a nice sitting area, cool spot to sit and relax. Check-in/check-out was smooth and easy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including a Keurig. The free eggs were a nice perk, we ate them all. The only thing that could have been better were the beds. The bed with the wooden canopy was very nice. The other bedroom on the lower floor our friends stayed in and said the mattress was not very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom had a twin and a single, not a great set-up for a couple. Neither bed is big enough for 2 people. I took 1 star off for this. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Massive property!! Much to enjoy

Great communication with host. Many things to enjoy while there; hot tub, outdoor fireplace, pool table, large kitchen, privacy and fresh eggs in kitchen!! Only negative, and not terrible, bedrooms do not have televisions. Would have no concerns coming back to stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!

After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, “Our House.” (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.

We fell in love with Asheville and all it has to offer. We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. “Our House” and “My Roundette” were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built “My Place,” “The Huntley,” “The Garden Cabin,” and “Hideout.”

The Cove at Fairview is a family business that offers high quality rental homes. We utilize reclaimed wood in our houses as well as offering luxurious amenities. Our homes are truly have rustic mountain elegance.
All of the homes have private places to gather, such as porches and decks. Our larger homes feature indoor/ outdoor fireplaces.
While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology such as high-speed internet.
Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away). Downtown Asheville has many restaurants and shops, as well as many as well many outdoor activities nearby including hiking. There are breweries and several restaurants in our town of Fairview. There is something nearby for everyone!
