Peaceful and beautiful

A wonderful place to stay, peaceful and in a great position. Corinne was welcoming and very helpful. We slept better, and the pool was great in hot weather.

Lovely location in the vineyards with views of Saint Emilion

Lovely property..Corrine was very welcoming and attentive. Remey gave us a wine tour with tasting which was wonderful. Great place for a group to visit the Saint Emilion and Pomerol wine regions.

Beautiful, comfortable home - Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, beautiful region

Loved our morning walks to the boulangerie, and to town. Great place to stay for excellent day trips around the region, from Bordeaux, just 45 minutes away, to St. Sebastian, at 2.5 hours. St. Emillion, the nearest town, had great restaurants, shops, and views!!! Wonderful place to anchor your visit to France!

Great Location and Beautiful Property

We had an amazing time at this lovely property. It was everything they described and more. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was better than expected. They should put a picture of the oven in their listing. I loved cooking there! It was wonderful to wake up in the vineyard every morning and sit on the patio to have coffee and every evening to have dinner. I would love to stay here again!

Exceptional stay in the vines

We just loved our stay chez Chateau des Rêves. Corinne and Rémy are warm, welcoming, generous, kind, and attentive. The gîte was perfect for us as we explored St. Émilion, Fronsac, and other regions. The pool is an added bonus. BEAUTIFUL. Thank you, Corinne and Rémy for an unforgettable visit.

Wonderful Host

Corinne was an amazing host, and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. The house is surrounded by vineyards and you have views over to Saint Emilion from the pool. The area is very peaceful, and you will need a car. Brenne is less than a 10 min drive, which has a Carrefour. Also in Brenne is a restaurant I can highly recommend, Le Caffe Cuissine

Two weeks in the vines

We had an excellent holiday at Des Reves, the house is large, well stocked and the beds were great. Corinne was there to meet us after a stressful day travelling and showed us round the property pointing out how everything worked. The location is amazing, so close to St Emilion and yet so quiet and peaceful. Every one in our party said agreed that it is the best rental property that we have had in France. Wonderful.

Beautiful property and location

The property is absolutely lovely in a great setting just 4km from Saint Emillion. It was clean and very well presented. Corinne our host was there to meet us when we arrived and is extremely helpful. Fantastic pool with pool hoover and solar powered pool cover. To walk out of the living room doors onto the vineyard is such a lovely way to wake up each day. The areas around the property are so picturesque, vineyards, Chateaux and small villages totally stunning

Loved the location

Corinne the manager (not owner) met us. She is very obliging. Has some English but it google translations helped ! Lovely Air conditioning which was needed. A guide book would help visitors especially with wifi passwords etc. The house is lovely . Thank you Corinne.

A happy holiday

This was a beautiful, peaceful location in the middle of vineyards with views of St Emilion. The house was very comfortable and we especially appreciated the pool and barbecue. We received a warm welcome from Corinne who was super helpful during our stay. Remy gave us a tour of the wine making facility and was really kind and interesting. We loved watching the birds and appreciated the peacefulness of the location. The one small recommendation is that parasols near the pool area would have been good as there is little shade when it is so hot and sunny. Overall, highly recommended.

The Perfect Holiday

This really was the most beautiful week and arguably one of our best family holidays. The house is immaculate, spacious with everything that you could need and the pool is a super size, surrounded by lavender, jasmine and vineyards, a dream! We stayed with our two boys age 15 and 11 who loved the house and enjoyed the outside space. The house stayed cool even in the 40 degree heat and the air condition came in handy a few days. We enjoyed a super wine tour with Reme, who kindly took the time to teach us about this amazing skill and tradition. We hired bikes from the local shop in St Emilion and enjoyed lots of rides around the house and into St Emilion, taking in the spectacular views. Corrine is the most wonderful host and from starting the booking to our last day was just amazing, getting back to questions quickly and greeting us on arrival after a long drive. Our week’s stay was our French dream and we can’t wait to come back and stay again.

The house has a light, spacious design and decor, making it easy to live in. We appreciated the outdoor eating area, especially the useful awning to protect against midday sun. The pool was a good size, with the robot cleaner working well, and there was comfortable poolside lounging seating. The house was overall well-equipped although some areas may soon need a refresh e.g. the kitchen units and the showers. The location is an asset. The immediate surroundings are pleasant and peaceful but not isolated with the vineyard setting adding interest. It is well placed for visiting the Bordeaux region and for accessing the area of the Dordogne around Bergerac. St Émilion station is only 5 minutes away with regular services into Bordeaux. Nearby St Sulpice de Faleyrens has a good boulangerie and restaurant; Branne has a wider range of shops and restaurant; Libourne has an excellent Sunday market and a full range of shops and supermarkets. The welcome and information from the host was very good as was communication throughout.

Wonderful house surrounded by vineyard

We had a fabulous week at this beautiful house! It is very well equipped and in a great location for exploring the region. We stayed during a heatwave so the heated pool was used extensively and was delightfully refreshing. The air conditioning is an added bonus and kept the house cool even in 40+ temperatures. Corinne and Phil were really helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We have stayed in a number of French holiday homes over the years but this is by far the best one yet and we definitely hope to visit again in the future. And thank you to Remy for explaining about the vines and the wine production and sharing his expertise with us. It all added to the experience.

Amazing stay in vineyards outside Saint-Emilion

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful house. The house is fully equipped and despite a heatwave, was always cool and pleasant. Underfloor cooling makes sure that the A/C is almost never needed despite the high temperatures. The large swimming pool was essential in the heat. The area is gorgeous and quiet, but the nearest village is only minutes away. Saint-Emilion is a 5-minute drive, and Libourne is only 10 minutes, and the location is ideal for exploring the region. Corinne and Phil were wonderful and exceedingly helpful. They ensured that any question or issue was dealt with immediately. We can't wait to come back.

Pretty little chateau in the midst of vineyards of Saint Emilion secteurs, very calm and secluded. My highlight was the big pool, really refreshing!! Nice interiors and enough parking space. The cleaning was not „spotless“ at the beginning but was worked on immediately. What I really missed were Moskitos shutters for the windows and an ambrella at the pool. We had a week of 34 degrees throughout were you need to open the windows at night for fresh air, especially upstairs. But I could only choose between bites or sticky air…! Otherwise everything was absolutely nice and we would recommend it for a family holiday or with friends. Good biking trails along the Dordogne and even to Bordeaux! Not to forget all the impressive châteaux in the neighbourhood with wine tastings…

Gîte parfait. Région magnifique

Tres bon accueil de Corinne. La belle maison au milieu des vignes correspondait exactement à nos besoins: -4 chambres avec salle de bain - salon confortable (avec vue sur le clocher de St Emilion) -Cuisine salle à manger suffisamment spacieuse pour partager les repas tout en commentant les chouettes visites faites dans un rayon de 40km. "Cerise sur le gâteau" Présentation de la propriété par Rémy, responsable de la vigne et du chai. Bravo ! Continuez ainsi.

Mi familia y yo disfrutamos mucho de esta casa, cómoda y limpia. Lindos sunsets, y desde la piscina vez st emilion, al fondo. Corine es encantadora y nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones.
