Holiday Getaway

Great place, very well furnished with higher end appliances and furnishings. Everything was provided for easy beach or pool days. Owner very responsive to questions. A great family stay for the Holidays!

A piece of paradise

We had the most wonderful stay at Ocean Sands at Hera and Mike's condo. It is an amazing location and the condo itself is perfect. The owners have thought about every detail to ensure a comfortable and fun stay! We can't wait to come back to Mad Beach!

A Getaway to Come Back To

It exceeded our expectations! The panoramic view was spectacular especially when sitting out enjoying the 30 ft. veranda accessible from the living room and the master bedroom. The condo was so well appointed throughout! .

Perfect Madeira Beach Spot

Loved our stay! The Condo was perfect , loved all the special little details and amenities . The view from the balcony overlooking the Beach & Sunsets were absolutely gorgeous . The location is great all within walking distance to so much .... grocery, liquor , restaurants, bars and short walk to John's Pass. Hera & Mike were perfect host , and were just a text away from anything we needed or questions we had. Definitely will be back, and hope to be able to rent from you again!

Very nice stay

Absolutely loved the unit. It is well-stocked, clean, and has just the right amount of tasteful decor. Lots of great beach equipment including an electric air pump. The pool is clean and well-kept. We loved having keypad entry. Great communication from the owners. I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Gorgeous Oceanfront Condo with Fantastic location

We had a fantastic week. The owners spared no expense decorating and providing all that you need to enjoy your time at the beach. The kitchen was very well appointed with dishes and cookware if you feel like cooking. Beds were super comfortable - master suite had walk-in closet and master bath. Beach chairs, coolers, beach toys... everything was there! We look forward to visiting again soon - we have stayed at many VRBO homes and this one was simply THE BEST!!!

Excellent beautiful stay in 5 star penthouse condo! Dolphins sighting in the morning from the large patio or swim 50-100ft from one. Well stock condo with large rooms , perfect bedding and mattresses. Sand toys and lounges and umbrellas. Everything in the condo is upscale and working. It’s hard not to compare to Ritz level luxury. Close to St Pete and Clearwater , live music , pubs and bars , grocery is near by , art , museums and lots of activities for kids. Marina is in making distance . Excellent stay , hosts is very responsive and provided excellent restorant choices ! Beautiful beach and lots of fun.

Couldn’t be any better!

Staying here was a wonderful experience; it was everything a holiday rental should be: Clean; comfortable; high quality furnishings and appliances; great location; excellent pool, spa, and parking facilities; magnificent balcony and view of the ocean; and much more. But best of all, it has kind, caring, responsive and thoughtful hosts in Hera and Mike. As my partner said on our departure, “I’d like to come back here at least once every year for the rest of my life.” That says it all about this place.

Don’t pass this property up!

Hera and Mike’s penthouse beach retreat did not disappoint! The condo is very well appointed - from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It is very nicely decorated with an attention to detail throughout. It was very convenient to have a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance; we rarely used our car while we were there. We felt completely comfortable and at home during our two week stay, and will certainly rent from Hera and Mike again the next time we decide to stay local for our summer vacation.

It does not get better than this

We researched carefully to find a sunset on the beach condo in St. Petersburg and had the highest expectations going in. This unit, and Hera and Mike, exceeded our expectations. Just look at the pictures, and know that it is everything you see and it is even better than that.

Wonderful vacation and location

I truly enjoyed my recent 2 week stay at this warm and inviting condo. The view from the balcony was amazing as I would have my breakfast out there every morning and a nice cold beer in the evening !!! The condo has everything you need for the beach ( chairs, umbrellas, beach towels , coolers and toys for little ones ). If you want to cook the kitchen has all the pots , pans and utensils that are needed. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. The host , Hera, was always available and very helpful with any questions that I had. I had a great, relaxing vacation and will be definitely returning to this location !!!

This place was absolutely wonderful. We spent 27 days here and somethng different every day. John's

St. Pete has a street festival on Sunday. Sarasota has a large street festival on Saturday. Great restaurants in the area. Next door to the condo is the snack shack. Wed. Thru Sunday. Great music. Best condo I ever rented

The condo was nothing short of exceptional. The condo itself was very clean and had everything you would need for your stay. There was so much beach equipment available as well . The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The complex was well maintained and provided quick and easy access to the pool and beach . The views were breathtaking and were able to see and enjoy the sunsets from our balcony as well as see the dolphins swim by in the morning. I also appreciated being in very quick walking distance to so many amenities like grocery , shopping , pharmacy, ice cream shops and restaurants. Also the interaction with Hera was great as well and she responded to the questions I had within minutes. In summary , it was the best vacation home we ever rented and will be back next year .

Gorgeous condo on the 12th floor!

Absolutely loved staying in this condo! My family and I went down and just came back today and we have already said we want to go back! The owners have supplied everything that you need and this is the first condo we have ever been to that had so much stuff for the beach! Since we flew down that was a big thing for us and I saw the reviews and everyone was right it was definitely like everyone has said from umbrellas to beach chairs and towels and coolers! Enjoy every morning and evening relaxing on the 12th story balcony was a site you don’t want to miss! Seeing the dolphins every morning and evening was amazing! Within a mile to Johns Pass and go to Woodys rentals and rent jet skis for the ocean for $65 if you rent them at 9:00am for an hour we got to see dolphins in the Bay Area on the way back up close and personal! This trip didn’t disappoint at all and we will be back!

Best Place Ever

I really can not begin to tell you how NICE this condo was! It had absolutely everything you could possibly need, just like you were at home. We go on a couples golfing trip every year (for the past 20 years) to various parts of the country and Mexico and this has been the BEST place we have ever stayed. We stayed in the unit June 13th - 20th, 2015. Also, the location is great. Everything is close by and I can not end this review without letting you know about the little restaurant across the street ... Mario's. It is only 8 tables and in strip mall directly across the road ... it was AMAZING. One of the couples we meet at the pool recommended it to us and they were right. We ate there twice. You know this place is great when our "only care about the golf" husbands commented on how great this condo, location & restaurant were! Thank you for providing us with such a beautiful place!

AMAZING condo!!!!!!!!

My husband and I rented this condo for week in October. What can I say but this condo has EVERYTHING you could ever wish for and MORE!!! Everything in this condo was PERFECT!!! The sheets, the towels , the beach towels, the furniture, the kitchen , the bathrooms , I mean there was not one thing in this BEAUTIFUL place that was missing! The owners really have thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay AMAZING! We have rented other condos in FL and this by far is the ABSOLUTE BEST we have ever stayed in! It was spotless on top of everything else! The owner Donna was just WONDERFUL to deal with and Carol who manages the condo was great also! Oh and how can forget to tell you about the balcony!!! OH MY it was just stunning to watch the sunset in the evenings and the dolphins swimming by! So stop looking any further you have found your condo!! Oh but don't rent it when I need it because we will NEVER stay anywhere else but here!! FABULOUS condo in EVERYWAY!!! Thank you again Donna and Carol fir all your help in making our stay PERFECT!!!!
