My heart is full, we had a group of young kids from an Astronomy Club stay with us for the entire weekend. Their itinerary consisted of going to NASA , Galveston and all around the Houston area. Both places are roughly 35 - 1 HR away but it didn't stop them from making the best of their trip. Our house is conveniently located off of the Sam Houston Tollway which could take you to both places relatively quickly. Small extra charges but won't break the bank. They always came back to our fully equipped home , a warm jacuzzi , and smart televisions that it's worth being away from Hussle and bussle of most attractions Houston has to offer but close enough to include them in your itinerary!

With enough transparency we can allow up to 16 guests at our rental. We can comfortably sleep 14 but if you would like to entertain additional guests; with clear and concise information we can allow additional guests with permission. We encourage small gatherings but never any House Parties.

Last minute get away

We booked this home for a last minute get away, everything was wonderful. Great communication with owners. The shallow end of the pool was perfect for kids playing or just relaxing. Definitely would stay again!

The shallow end is my favorite ! Ever since the youngest turned 3 meanwhile the oldest was 4 I felt comfortable enough to allow them in that kiddie area and it also as the steps in order to sit down and relax without getting our hair wet! And the deepested end is almost 10ft so thats a huge range of depth at our Houstongem Pool!

The LED lighting is superb. Both the pool and the jacuzzi have great LED lightening setting to set the mood. The next thing we want to add to the pool area is a bluetooth surround sound speaker option! Hopefully that will be installed by 2024 so stay tuned ;)

Houston weather is definitely unpredictable. You may get 75 degree weather in December but overall weather in houston is unpredictable. I encourge you to always look at weather before travel dates because for Houston its literally a luck of the draw ;)

After 4 long years in the rental industry we have created a space that is clutter free, easy to use, with personalized features and a booklet with house instructions and some of my favorite locations to go to. I make sure you are equipped with all liquor stores and grocery stores near you as well as the free sight seeing places. I also have this a virtual format that you could always take with you. You will ALWAYS arrive to a clean home. We focus on the small details like the blinds , cleaning all door handles, television controllers ect. We understand that cleaniness is essential for a great stay!

30 year old young lady who has 2 children and a former cougar graduate! I decided to fulfill my parental duties and stay with my 2 beautiful children. We bought this home with intentions of keeping it so it custom designed to our liking! My husband actually did the entire renovation - top to bottom - and I am now the manager of the property. I'm very happy to be able to enjoy this beauty at my own leisure and also share it with travelers like you! We have a perfect family dynamic to help share our rentals all throughout Houston .

Lovely home that was bought for the entire family. We wanted this to be a vacation-style home for all walks of life; starting with my business people: high-speed internet, all rooms have an accessible outlet, an extra chair, and or a desk to set up!
For my leisure-travelers the pool is definitely the highlight feature of this home; We plastered the Pool, keeping the deepest end of the pool 8ft but shortening the smaller end to about 2ft (toddler-friendly height).

And we can’t forget the Backyard. Plenty of outdoor space perfect for entertaining including a small pit for a good wood-fire for cold nights, a charcoal grill for some nice steaks next to your private pool, and a beautiful covered seating area with patio furniture.
There is seating in the deep end and also seating in the entrance of the pool so you don't have to completely submerge. Because of how deep the pool is a heated pool is not feasible so we integrated a Jacuzzi since November of 2021!

The house sits in a very convenient location not in the heart of downtown (away from all the chaos) but close enough to have convenient travel times. ETA's in Houston are all over the place average travel time will be anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes depending on where your traveling to and if it is prime time traffic!

Nonetheless it was a fun project that turned out spectacular! Every finish was well thought of even the floors are porcelain anti slip floors so you shouldn't have any trouble coming in and out of the house from the pool! Please enjoy!

Easy parking and extra parking 2 in the garage, 2 in the driveway + FIRST COME FIRST SERVE parking directly adjacent to the home. 6 car parking maximum. You are right off of the biggest looping freeway, better known as, the Sam Houston Tollway, that will take you to all major Houston attractions! Very tight community and friendly neighbor (almost no one has changed in over 25 years) and as mentioned before there are many accommodations for small children. The best part of all your own private pool and jacuzzi.
