Welcome to the lovely Village of Newhaven, where ocean and garden views abound.

Our condo has been enjoyed by our family for 20 years and now, the time has come for us to share it with others.

We have a King size, Sleep Number, bed in the Master bedroom, with a couch that makes into a full size bed, if needed, and a flat screen TV for your enjoyment. The couch is also a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the ocean view or to work remotely. The Master bathroom has a fun, round tub along with a shower.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed and an updated bathroom.

Across the street is the Ocean Point golf course and Ocean Pointe Grille. Walk over, have breakfast, go to the driving range or play a round of golf on our 18 hole, ocean front course.

Or if fishing is your preference. we have some of the best fishing at the groan right by Newhaven.

There is also one of the nicest swimming pools, right next to the Newhaven complex. It has a baby pool too! And a beach access at low tide!

We are club members which means that the Club amenity cards are available for purchase.
***The Fripp Island Club requires amenity cards for you to frequent their amenities. These amenities include golfing, playing tennis, going to the restaurants on Fripp, going to the swimming pools and the fitness room.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 1-4 days are $35 during the summer months and $25 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 5-8 days are $50 during the summer months and $35 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
If you do want to purchase the amenity cards, the resort will add an additional island fee of 13% to your rental to use their amenities. This will be added to your weekly stay at time of amenity card purchase.
Each guest 13 years or older must carry an amenity card to access the Club's facilities.
There are a few places on Fripp Island that you do not need an amenity card. SpringTide Market is at the front of the island that has a large menu at their deli. From breakfast sandwiches to family BBQ meals, there is a lot to choose from. There is also a deli at the Marina that serves sandwiches and salads. The Fripp Ship and Mango stores are fun to go into for your perfect souvenir. You do not need an amenity card for golf cart, kayak, bike, etc. rentals as there are an abundance of companies who offer rental services that will deliver to you.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. We were able to view the ocean. It was a great short getaway. I would definitely stay there again.

Family time at Fripp

The condo was amazing! Kathy has it stocked with all your needs you would think of and some so you can enjoy your time there without all the worries. Very clean and great location. Kathy responded to any of my questions very quickly before and during our stay. We definitely look forward to many future visits.

Restful Weekend

Beautiful condo, fully equipped kitchen for a cook except for big pots for stews and crab boil. House was clean in all areas except for roaches in the kitchen, please call your exterminator ASAP

Oh goodness, the exterminator was there the day before you arrived. We had him come as we had just replaced all of the kitchen appliances that same day. Thank you for letting me know, I will have our team go over and spray, inspect again, especially since we are replacing the carpet in 2 weeks. And we will get some big pots. Thank you, Kathy

Very clean & desirable location!

Perfect, we had everything we needed at the condo, very clean!! We would have loved to stayed longer! The kitchen was well stocked for everything we cooked, we didn’t use the grill downstairs in the courtyard but it was super clean! The grounds were beautiful! Off the main road where you could ride around and see all the homes and make your way around the island, but also very convenient if you wanted to get to a shop or pool pretty quickly! Garage parking was a plus for our rented golf cart! It’s right near the exit and entrance! We will book again for sure! Wonderful place to stay and can’t wait to come back!!

Kathy was rude

The property was nice. We arrived a few hours early and was unable to get our admitted cards. Someone threw the property management had already picked them up and was going to have them in the room which kept us from being able to access anything. After talking to Kathy she was very rude and told me I was the first one to be this way this year. Beach access was limited because of the tide. But nice place and did enjoy our stay.

I was rude? Travis, you text me later and apologized for being rude yourself. You arrived on Island so early and wanted the cards and access to the unit while it was being cleaned. Total disregard for any of the rules, kept interfering with our whole process because you could have cared less. All you cared about was you were there and ready to get your party on! We did end up getting the cards to you several hours early. Thanks anyway Travis.

Not our favorite stay at Fripp

This was not our favorite stay at Fripp. We were not notified the parking would be underground, so we had to find another location to park our vehicle. I contacted the host prior to the trip about bringing our own golf cart. Upon arrival at the gate, we were told by secrity that we would need to register our golf cart for one hundred dollars. The remote for the sleep number bed is in need of new batteries. The bath towels and bed sheets are worn out. There were no “new towels” and “new floor mats” as described in the pictures. The black mold on the master bathroom vent needs to be addressed. We also spotted numerous dead cockroaches during our stay.

We are sorry to hear this and a little shocked too. So I went back and looked at our communication. Maybe you forgot so I copied what you said and our response to same. You said "Will it be an issue to bring our own golf cart via trailer? We replied "There is no trailer parking at the condo complex, you can park the trailer at the marina if you can find a spot or there is a private lot on the island that you can pay to store it. You will have to take the cart to the security office on the island and get the cart inspected, lights and brakes mostly to be able to use it on the island. There's a fee. They dont make it easy, sorry. We would have been happy to bring new batteries, we didn't know the sleep number remote needed them. The last guest had no problem with the remote. The towels and floor mats are new. If they were not to your liking then it would have been nice to hear from you while you were staying with us. We would have been happy to bring something different. I am sure you are trying to be helpful with your review but honestly it would have been much more helpful and productive for us both if you would have reached out to us while you here on the island. My friendly advice to you is to give your next host the chance to make things more to your liking by reaching out to them while you are staying with them. Because these reviews matter a great deal to us and to give us a 3 star review doesn't seem just.

Comfortable and Very Clean

Enjoyed our stay at Fripp. The unit was just what we needed and larger than expected. Beds were comfortable and unit was very clean. Loved the view off the deck and the overall area of NewHaven. There are a few stairs outside and inside if you have mobility issues. Just fyi if you run into an older lady long grey hair/glasses doing garbage/dumpster patrol (at the NewHaven complex) screaming at you, just ignore her. She accused us of not staying there and using the dumpster. Even after I told her our unit number she insulted us by saying that if she went and knocked on our Unit would the people say we were staying there! If she is NewHaven Mgt, she needs to be controlled. She went as far as screaming for my grand-daughter to go back in the dumpster and get our garbage bag back out. She wouldn’t take my word we were staying there so I showed her the key with the unit number on it before she calmed down. The screaming and running across the parking lot to address us was very unnerving. My kids, grandkids and I have been coming to Fripp for 10 years and never have met anyone acting like this.

We are so happy you enjoyed your accommodations! It is such a lovely and comfortable home. And sorry about the garbage monitor. The owners that live in the Newhaven complex have been experiencing a lot of people taking advantage of the garbage receptacle. Apologies for this particular person being over the top. Beautiful island. Lots and lots of steps.

The property was nice enough however the elevator didn't work the entire 8 days we were there. Even if the elevator had been working you still have to carry everything up a flight of stairs. I never read this on any reviews of the property nor in the property description. This was especially hard with 3 children under 5.

Very responsive

Parking is well marked and underground so nice for heat and weather. Perfect location for golfing and easy cart ride to the pool and beach. Property management team is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

The condo was nice. Perfect location. We would absolutely stay there again!

Renting the condo was a smooth process. No problems at all. It was nice. Had to rent a golf cart because it didn’t come with one. (Some rentals do on Fripp) . That would be the only thing that would have made it better.

When we priced the condo, we made sure to lower the rate so the guests that have their own golf cart could take advantage of the price or if someone wanted to rent a golf cart, there would be more available money to do so. first trip to Fripp

We enjoyed Fripp, golf cart rides, and the deer. I am usually a Florida gulf girl. The property has nice views but definitely could use some updating. The carpet gone would be biggest improvement. I felt like condo was clean considering it is a rental but the carpet is so stained. We found the sheets for pullout couch after I went to Walmart and purchased some and an egg crate topper for comfort. I had also purchased bath towels then found the additional ones. I would visit Fripp again. Only other issue was no keys to be found. We ended up leaving door unlocked most of the week which is scary. Could be an adorable condo with a little TLC but we enjoyed our week overall.
