During your stay, you`ll have exclusive access to all the amenities and spaces within the property.
We are contactable through the Air B and B app from 8am to 5pm.
We are 5 minutes drive to the Christchurch adventure park which offers downhill mountain biking and zip lining! Nearby there is Somerfield Park, Barrington Park and Bradford Park. The Heathcote River offers a nice river walk, and a bit further up the hill the port hills has heaps of walking and bike trails plus beautiful views over the city during the day and at night.
10 minutes walk from our home is a craft beer house with great food, pizza restaurant, cafe and two Asian food restaurants. 2 minutes walk you will find a dairy, fish and chips take away and Indian take away.
Gym and swimming pool located at Pioneer which is a 10 minute walk from our home.
Two parking spots are available up our driveway - park in front of the garage on your left when coming up the driveway. Free parking is available on Barrington Street.
If you prefer not to drive, Christchurch offers local Taxis, Uber, electric scooters and buses.
Important Notice: The use of the spa is limited to hours up to 10 PM.
OUR STRICT RULES:
1. No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm: As we are situated in a residential area, we kindly request that you refrain from creating any disruptive noise after 10:00 pm. Our neighbours have been informed to notify us of any excessive noise disturbances. If you anticipate difficulty adhering to this rule, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking with us.
2. No parties without prior approval: Any gatherings or events require prior approval, and unauthorized parties will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation, with no refund. Please note that there may be an additional fee for hosting extra guests if approved.
3. Checkout is at 10:00 am: We kindly request that you check out by 10:00 am on the day of your departure. If you require a late checkout, please submit your request at least 24 hours in advance. Late checkouts are subject to availability.
4. No smoking inside the property: Smoking, including the usage of any recreational drugs, is strictly prohibited inside the premises.
5. Leave the property in a reasonable state: We expect the property to be left in a reasonable and tidy condition upon departure. Any additional cleaning required beyond the normal cleaning procedures will be charged at a rate of $100 per hour. Please promptly report any damages, spills, or stains during your stay. If necessary, you may be held responsible for the cost of replacement or professional cleaning.
6. Security cameras are situated on the South-East side of the garage and North-West side of the house. These face away from the property and are there for your safety. Both record footage when motion is detected.
7. Please take note that the use of the spa is limited to hours up until 10 PM. This is for your safety.
8. As the property is carpeted, please remove shoes before entering the house.
9. Allergies. Please be aware we allow pets in this property. If you feel staying here may affect your allergies, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking with us.
11. Do not put sanitary item down the toilet. Place them in the bins provided.
12. The BBQ must be cleaned after each use. Failure to clean the BBQ and utensils will result in a $60 per hour charge by our cleaner.
