About the home
âBanksia Waterfront Beachhouseâ is a delightful split level family home on absolute beachfront in Silverleaves, just a comfortable walk from the Silverleaves General Store and a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafĂ©s of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
An Entry steps up to the downstairs light-filled large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with 55" smart TV, gas log fire, pool table & a selection of board games) which flows out to the rear covered Deck through bifold doors. Also on this level is a Bathroom/Laundry (with shower, toilet & a washing machine). Upstairs is Bedroom 1, which feaures a BIR, a small retreat area with sea views (with 2 chairs a coffee table & some books) plus an ensuite (with shower & toilet) and Bedroom 2 (with BIR) and another Bathroom (with shower & toilet). Another few stairs up is Bedroom 3 (with BIR).
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered North facing Deck (with gas BBQ, seating for 8 & servery window) is a delightful place to relax and enjoy the daily visits from Black Wallabies and overlooking the bush with the sand just metres away. The home features an outdoor shower and a 3-car carport, with additional parking for another vehicle (car and/or a boat) in the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home is perfectly serviced by four wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioners; one in each of the Bedrooms, plus another in the Kitchen/Dining/Living room.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): Two Single beds
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
