About the home
âRhyll Viewâ is a delightful double-storey family and pet-friendly home in a quiet area of Rhyll, just a short walk from the beach and comfortable drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafĂ©s of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs is the huge open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with 75" smart TV & gas log fireplace) that has direct access to the Garage and flows out to the covered Alfresco. A fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) is off the Kitchen. The Living Room provides access to a separate Toilet as well as Bedroom 1, which features a 55" smart TV, walk-through Robes and an ensuite (with shower, toilet & heat lamps). Upstairs is a second Living Room (with 65" smart TV, some books & games), Bedroom 2 which features BIR and an ensuite (with shower, bath, toilet & heat lamps), Bedrooms 3 and 4 which each feature WIR and their own ensuites (with shower, toilet & heat lamps).
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered Alfresco (with gas BBQ & seating for 10) overlooks the enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children and pets alike. Upstairs, a small Balcony is accessed off the Living Room. A large Double Garage (with internal access and foldup table tennis table) provides space for 2 cars, with additional parking for 2 more vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in visitor parking, and street parking is also available.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, airfryer, built-in Bertazzoni steam oven, electric oven and gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The entire home has a zoned electric ducted reverse cycle heating & cooling system, plus ceiling fans in all 4 Bedrooms. There is also a gas log fireplace in the downstairs Living Room.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 5 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): Two Long Single beds (which can be converted into a King bed)
Please note that if you want the Long Single beds to be converted into King beds prior to your arrival, we need at least one week's notice before checking in.
Long single mattress dimensions are approximately 91cm x 203cm and converted king bed dimensions are approximately 180cm x 203cm.
There is also a Double sofa bed in the Upstairs Living Room suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
