The cabin is amazing! It is both spacious and cozy; loved the decor. It had everything we needed and the owner was extremely responsive. It was super clean. The view was awesome. It was fun to be there in winter and we would love to go back in other seasons!

We had a great 4 night stay over NYE with 2 families. The house is cozy and well appointed. The living space was roomier than we expected from the pics and there was plenty of space for the kids to play upstairs, when they weren't skiing close by or playing outside. The land and the views from nearly every rom are absolutely gorgeous. Hosts were quick to respond and very friendly. The kids were asking to return in summer to enjoy the cabin in warm weather.

Winter Paradise

We had the most amazing time. The view was even more stunning then the pictures. It’s truly a little piece of paradise. We were very fortunate to wake up to a snow covered Winter wonderland. The cabin was so charming. The host was very responsive and kind. We would love to come back in the Spring.

Breathtaking view and huge outdoor area for family

The house is very nice with everything working well. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We went in early Oct and were lucky to see the leaves turning yellow and red. The backyard with multiple trails is so much fun for our family! Andrea is extremely responsive and nice.

Immaculate property with amazing views

Our family had a very relaxing getaway and plan to make this is a regular destination. The log cabin is meticulously maintained and the outside grounds were equally impressive, great for young kids to run around. Convenient location where you feel secluded by not too far from several quant downtowns, shops, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. The property manager was extremely responsive and friendly. Team getaway

We had a fabulous stay at Andrea's home. It's a beautiful house on a stunning property, very well appointed and comfortable. It suited our group of 5 adults very well, and also looks like it would accommodate children well. It had everything we could have needed or wanted and then some. The host was fantastic, warm and responsive, and very helpful. We'd like to return again! Thank you so much Andrea for a wonderful stay!!

We spent a lovely and cozy Thanksgiving weekend here! Some snow against the surrounding mountains and on the most beautiful grounds made for a festive backdrop.Nearby Margaretville was fun to shop in and walk around (the Kitchen Cheetah is always well stocked with fantastic things) and had a holiday parade that Saturday and Pakatakan farmers market was still open that weekend so we stocked up on local goods! Café Mutsi in nearby Andes was a welcome spot for hot chocolate after a hike.The house is snug and comfortable, well stocked with essentials and has anything you could need for a chill, offline winter weekend away from the city. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful views at a quiet retreat!

I booked a 4 night stay and were amazed with the gorgeous mountain views and the peaceful quiet surroundings. All communication with the owner prior to our arrival was immediate, complete and helpful. WiFi at the property was fast and reliable. Andrea provided us with a welcome packet with directions (cell service is minimal in the Catskills) as well as helpful suggestions for the area. We were able to explore the area, and while most options for dining require a drive it gave us a chance to visit the quaint villages and hamlets along the way. We would certainly return to this secluded mountain getaway!

This place is heaven!!!

This experience exceeded our expectations. The house is so well designed, with great interiors, warm, extremely comfortable and generously stocked with everything you could need. The views were exceptional and the grounds beautifully landscaped. I was inspired as a photographer to roam the property. It was a particular pleasure to cook in their well appointed kitchen and on the outside grill. Everyone who stays here should watch Kenneth Lonergan's film You Can Count On Me, set in Margaretville. Restful, comfortable, and idyllic

We (a group of four women writers on a retreat) absolutely loved our stay here. The photos don't even do justice to the reality of that view, which was epic and inspirational. The house was extremely comfortable and well-equipped, with five great bedrooms - three queens, a twin, and a spare with crib and futon - and a lovely living room, dining area and kitchen. The only thing we felt we were missing was a microwaved, due to having brought pre-prepared meals. The house is a bit of a drive down a big hill (and too far to walk unless you're a strong hiker) from any amenities - but it was ideal for our needs when we were staying on property most of the time, and we were happy to make a couple of driving trips out to the nearest store. Best view I've ever had to write to!

Getaway to Catskills Oct 2022

VRBO website was simple and made it very easy to scroll through and finally book this property. The property was exactly as described, a very charming home with ample space to rest,relax and unwind with our group. The kids loved the house and the outdoor space, esp. The vast variety of toys and books. The property was clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful time and would really recommend this property and VRBO.

Peaceful and well appointed!

The house was very nice with modern finishes and appliances wrapped in a beautiful log cabin. The property was outstanding, with different gardens and beautiful walks all over the property. The view out the back deck is worth coming back for alone. Very kid and family friendly.

Beautiful mountain house

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, warm and comfortable. The views from the house are absolutely spectacular! Our toddler loved exploring and playing with the little toy kitchen whilst the adults had everything we needed in the actual kitchen - well equipped and very organized. Communication with the hosts was efficient and quick. the location is good with several lovely little towns nearby. We hope to revisit later in the year!

Great long weekend

Nice stay for 2 families with 3 young kids- house was very child friendly, including a play kitchen to keep them entertained. Also a good central location for skiing at a few ski areas- Belleayre, Plattekill and a slightly longer drive to Hunter. Thanks for a great long weekend!

Beautiful Cabin near Belleayre Mountain

Our family sent MLK weekend at this beautiful cabin. Very charming, amazing views from all the rooms, very comfortable and clean. The owner responded to my questions immediately and was very nice. It's a short drive from Belleayre Mountain. I highly recommend it.

Cozy retreat

Staggering, beautiful views from the top of a mountain. With a luxurious first floor bathroom, generously sized bedrooms and a great, workable kitchen, the cabin was a perfect country retreat for our family. Would highly recommend Andrea’s place to one and all!

Catskills Golf Weekend

We are two brothers and two brothers-in-law getting together for an extended weekend to play golf and, after missing last year, just getting back together. Andrea's log cabin home could not have fit our needs more perfectly. The home is beautiful, obvious that much time and love has been put into it. Just as beautiful is the land it sits on and the awesome views her back yard provides. The set up around the back yard fire pit was perfect. Again, it's obvious that as much care and thought given to the inside was given to the landscaping as well. We had no problem finding golf courses to play, all within a 30-45 minute drive, including a beautiful course at the Hanah Mountain Resort, 15 minutes away from the home. The house was stocked with all the basics we would need, and then some. While we loved the isolation of her land, the town of Margaretville was close enough for when we needed extra supplies. We also had a very good dinner at an excellent Italian restaurant in town. Our thanks to Andrea for making her home available to us.

Pleasant, comfortable house in the woods, with great views

The house is comfortable. with good appliances, an ample kitchen. Sliding glass doors bring the beautiful mountain views inside and give access to a deck on two sides of the house. Wonderful grounds with lovely plantings, paths winding through them. Good hiking nearby.
