Located just inside the main gate of Sea Pines, and enjoying the lush privacy of a quiet street, this stunning PET FRIENDLY vacation getaway blends modern flair with lush airiness and natural light for a one-of-a-kind experience.
The center of the home is a massive sun-dappled courtyard open to the skies, around which the entire house wraps.
Surrounding this outdoor oasis is a home built to exult in the natural beauty of the Lowcountry, framing it in contemporary style. The open great room enjoys vistas both to the courtyard and back to a peaceful lagoon, the view framed by the branches of old growth live oaks. Here, beneath soaring ceilings that rise to stunning skylights, you can unwind before the massive flat-screen TV and decorative fireplace. Open to this space, the formal dining wraps sophisticated seating for 8 amid lush views.
Soak in those views from multiple vantage points inside, or experience it among the verdant outdoor spaces where four chairs ring a fire pit, a gas grill and patio seating for 8 allow for al fresco dining and lush vegetation winds toward lagoon views. . In the center of the property, surrounded by 4 walls for privacy, there is an atrium with a built in spa that can be heated from October – April. (Heat must be ordered and paid for in advance)
Convenient to the dining room is the marvelously updated kitchen, where leathered soapstone counters run between state-of-the-art appliances including a six-burner gas grill. Tucked away just beyond, a full laundry offers all the conveniences of home. And just down the hall, a half bath welcomes guests.
As gloriously open as its main living spaces are, the quieter spaces in the home revel in a refined intimacy. The first, a den set just past French doors from the great room, enjoys its own soaring ceiling above a space with decorative fireplace, flat-screen TV, courtyard views and a plush sleeper sofa.
Further guest rooms pamper with similar comforts. In one, we find a king size bed set among amenities including ceiling fan, flat-screen TV and plentiful closet space. In another, dual twin beds anchor a space whose luxurious offerings match its counterpart. These two guest rooms share a spacious full bath with dual-basin vanity, tub and shower lit by skylights.
Finally, the owner suite enjoys elegant comfort with its own private entrance to the courtyard. Within, it’s king-size bed rests amid a spacious suite with ceiling fan, flat-screen TV and en suite bath boasting dual-basin vanity and cavernous skylit walk-in shower.
