We're so glad you loved the cabin in Hadley and that Lake Sacandaga's views and the peaceful, private setting made your stay special. As for the TLC comment, it's true this is an Adirondacks cabin rather than a hotel, and while we've made many upgrades over the years, it will always keep that cozy camp feel. We're so glad your week at the cabin was such a great one! It sounds like the kitchen, the seating both indoors and out, and those sunset views from the patio table made for a wonderful stay. The heat spell during your stay is very uncommon, and we are sorry that the ceiling fans may not have been adequate for your needs. Normally, they cool the house quite well. We are looking into portable air conditioning so that the house will be prepared in the event of another hot spell.
