What makes us so special?
1. Many homes along the Sacandaga Lake area are located on very steep hills. We are fortunate that our home is on 5 acres that are pretty flat!
2. We see Deer around our apple trees almost every morning and night.
3. Many homes near the lake have neighbors very close by. We are fortunate that we are on a secluded road with little to no traffic and we have ample space between neighbors.
4. Many homes around Sacandaga Lake have little to no cell service. We are fortunate that there is a cell tower close to our home, so we tend to have good cell service.
5. Ready to wind down or just need to keep the kids busy? Smart TV’s are in all 3 bedrooms & the living room. Using guest mode, you can log in to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime, etc. and it will automatically log you out at the end of your stay!
Coffee = Life
Our Keurig makes single serve coffee with k-cups. We invite you to bring your favorite K-cups with you to enjoy your morning exactly the way you like it! Waking up at The Lazy Bear Cabin is dreamy but life is always better with coffee.

-We have kindly put together a local guide which will be waiting for you in the Cabin. This will help you find fun activities to do, local restaurants, boat launch, public beaches, concert halls, etc.
-We will try our best to make sure you have a wonderful stay! That's what booking a trip is all about, anyway.
P.S. Remember to do your grocery shopping before you arrive. If you forget something, the closest grocery stores are Tops Supermarket or J.F. Farm Store & Café in Northville (20 minute drive).
-You can see gorgeous sunrises/sunsets on The Great Sacandaga Lake. There are several public beaches around the lake.
-Many folks around the lake have reported bear and moose sightings over the years (sometimes they even swim in the lake!)
-We provide many household staples which other listings may not include. Please be thoughtful about this and don't ruin it for future guests. We are only able to offer these things if guests are mindful of only using what they need. (Please don't take our extra paper towels, toilet paper, condiments, tissue boxes, etc. home with you.)
