Located in Highland, NY, and nearby to New Paltz and Poughkeepsie, this home is private with 50 acres of property. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the great outdoors and easy access to nearby activities. The home, which features vintage and antique touches balanced with modern and high-end finishes, includes four bedrooms, an open-concept chef’s kitchen, and a butler’s pantry as well as an outdoor shower and swimming pond.

This property is managed by Home Sweet Hudson, a trusted & local management company. Our team is passionate about connecting with each guest and providing unique stay places for your Hudson Valley vacation! We’re here to help answer any questions and provide thoughtful support throughout your trip.

KITCHEN: Featuring soapstone counters, the kitchen offers an open layout with a six burner gas stove, dishwasher, butler’s pantry and eat-in dining area as well as a formal dining room.

LIVING SPACE: The living room features a statement wood-burning fireplace and windows out to the swimming pond. There is also a sunroom and a full bathroom on the first floor .

SECOND FLOOR:
Features a family room with Smart TV, couches for relaxing as well as an elliptical machine for those looking to stay fit during their stay.

LAUNDRY ROOM:
Is on the second floor with sink and folding area.

SLEEPING SPACE
Bedrooms include:
● Primary Bedroom: Queen bed
● Guest Room 1: Full bed
● Guest Room 2: Full bed
● Guest Room 3: Full bed

OUTDOOR SPACE: The house offers everything you need for year-round entertaining. There is a front porch with pond views and a porch swing as well as a back patio with outdoor dining table, Adirondack chairs, fire pit, gas grill, and outdoor shower. The pond is swimmable and perfect for summertime refreshing!

House Rules -

Services: For your convenience, routine services such as lawn care, snow removal, garbage pickup, and pool maintenance may occur during your stay.

Parking: Please park only in the designated parking spaces.

Pets: Pets are only permitted with prior approval from our team. An unauthorized pet will result in a fee of up to $500.

Smoking: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking anywhere on the premises will result in a fee of up to $500.

Weapons: Weapons of any kind, including firearms and hunting bows, are strictly prohibited. Any evidence of a weapon will result in immediate eviction from the property.

Events: Parties and events are not permitted. Only registered guests are allowed on the property.

Noise: Please be mindful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours after 9:00 PM.

Fire Safety: Please use fireplaces and fire pits safely and in accordance with posted instructions.

Property Boundaries: For your safety and the privacy of others, please do not trespass beyond the property boundaries.

Camping: The use of tents, yurts, or other camping equipment is prohibited.

Wildlife: As part of our commitment to the environment, we do not use chemical pest sprays. We recommend checking for ticks after spending time outdoors.

Security: For everyone's protection, exterior security cameras are installed at the driveway and main entrance. These are not monitored during your stay unless an issue arises, and they never record the interior of the home.

You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.

With “all-risk” protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.
