This house was ideal for our stay for a West Point reunion. Everything was very clean and the house was charming just like the area. Nice friendly neighborhood and the kids loved playing in the yard. The kids’ room could sleep four young kids comfortably. The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely updated and the master shower had great water pressure. I have high standards for bedding/pillows and slept great - higher quality beds/bedding than many other vrbos where we have stayed. The host was super available and checked in by text each day though we didn’t need anything because the house was perfect. Went for some nice (hilly) runs and short hikes from the house. Photos are from the top of Ridge Rd about a mile from the house - beautiful vista. Easy jog/walk down to the Hudson River park too. Hope we can stay here again!

Well-appointed house. Didn't take advantage of the kitchen but plenty of pots/pans/serving dishes etc had we had time to cook. Beds were comfortable. Full size washer and dryer. Plenty of space to spread out for a larger group. Walking distance to coffee shop. Beautiful neighborhood.

Wonderful Hudson Valley Retreat

Perfect home for West Point events

Cozy Cottage far exceeded my expectations! It is a beautifully decorated and comfortable home with spacious rooms and outdoor spaces. Our hostess was extremely helpful and left detailed information about the house and surrounding areas. A big plus is that it is located in Corwall on Hudson and is only 18 minutes from West Points Washington Gate. I would highly recommend Cozy Cottage to anyone visiting the area but especialy West Point families looking for a roomy place to stay near the base.

Beautiful home for our family gathering

West Point Football Game

This was our second time staying here and we would highly recommend this house! Our son is a cadet at West Point and the location is about 15 minutes away. The house has a great layout that allows the whole family to gather and relax in a home away from home. It’s clean and modern. It’s in a nice neighborhood with plenty of driveway parking. Communication with the host was great.

West Point Parents Weekend

We came up for Parents weekend and a football game at West Point. The house is located under 20 minutes from West Point. It’s in a nice neighborhood and we saw deer every morning in the back yard. The house was very clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was excellent, I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

The neighborhood was gorgeous, home has a great layout with plenty of space to spread out and visit. The drive time to USMA was important to us, just 15 minutes over the hill! So easy, we'll be back.

Very clean, Comfortable, kind owner!

5 adults stayed for 2 weeks for work related reason. Cooked almost all meals in beautiful well equipped kitchen. House rental is well managed with lots of information of town and beyond. It was so easy to communicate and ask any question to management. It was perfect for us.

Phenomenal home close to West Point

We thoroughly enjoyed Georgia's beautiful home when we dropped our daughter off to begin her West Point journey. She was incredibly communicative well in advance of our trip and stayed in close touch during our stay. I was confident she was only a text away. The house was just as described--immaculately clean, well-appointed, and close to restaurants, shops, and the Academy. Perfect in every way

Great home in small town

West Point football weekend

Very nice small home with three bedrooms. Four elderly brothers from Ala and Ga up for an Army football game. Only 15 minutes from WP, several nice places to eat(Fiddlesticks and Jones Farm for breakfast, Prima Pizza for dinner), close to everything we wanted to do. Nice safe neighborhood.Would stay here again on future visits to West Point.

A Day at Army West Point

The house was perfect for a long weekend of visiting our son at Army West Point. The beds were delightful and the kitchen was perfectly stocked for cooking for our family of 5. The linens were very high quality and we had plenty of thick towels. The location to West Point was close and a very easy commute. The town of Cornwall on Hudson was sweet as can be with lots of restaurants and shops! We can't wait to come back!

Perfect girls getaway

My girlfriends and I stayed for a long girl’s weekend away. Georgia was always prompt in responding to me and took time to make suggestions as to where we could eat, shop and find adventures. West Point visit

This was a wonderful home for us to use while we visited West Point. The home was useable and nicely appointed. Rain kept us inside so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor amenities. Beautiful view of trees and a doe with 2 fawns wandering by. Beautiful walking neighborhood, and very quiet. Local shops and food was a very close 2-3 minutes drive. Lots of choices. Food was delicious. We visited the owners recommended places and were very happy. I would use it again anytime.

I love to explore the Hudson Valley. This home is conveniently located in the village of Cornwall on Hudson, only 50 miles from NYC. Easy commuter or weekend home.

It is situated on the grounds of the former Scribner Summer Estate, a lovely McKim, Mead and White shingle style summer cottage from the Gilded Age (1892).

This home is adjacent to the original estate house and is very quiet and private. A village home, it has all the conveniences of public water, sewer and natural gas but very quiet and private.
