Spacious 1980s Brick Beach House with Private Jetty

Relax and unwind in this charming original old-school beach house, complete with its own private jetty and kayak for your use.

With 4 bedrooms, this home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests, making it perfect for one family or two. Set on a large 1100 sqm block, there’s plenty of space to enjoy, both indoors and out.

Located walking distance to Kawana Shopping Centre and close proximity to pristine beaches makes for a perfect family holiday!

UPSTAIRS:

Bedrooms -
1 King Bedroom: Ensuite, ceiling fan, built-in cupboards, walk-in storage.

1 Queen Bedroom: Ceiling fan, balcony access, built-in cupboards.

2 Single Beds: Ceiling fan, chest of drawers, plus kids' books and board games.

Family bathroom with separate toilet.

No air-con in bedrooms, just ceiling fans.

Kitchen -
The main kitchen upstairs is fully equipped with all the essentials, and there’s plenty of seating with an outdoor dining table on the back balcony (seats 4-8). Fire up the BBQ and enjoy meals overlooking the canal.

Living Room/Dining Room
Air-conditioned living room upstairs for the steamy summer days or open the windows for a beautiful sea breeze.

Eat meals overlooking the water, beautiful views from the living and dining rooms.

DOWNSTAIRS:

Outdoors: The huge backyard offers space to relax, play, or fish off your private jetty. Bring your boat (up to 6m) or hire one locally. We provide a three-person kayak, complete with life vests, so you can paddle around at your leisure. For fishing enthusiasts, you can cast off from your private jetty; fishing rod and a tackle box are ready and waiting!

PARKING:
Off-street parking for 3 cars (1 small car inside garage).

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT UPON ARRIVAL:

We supply and professionally launder all of your linen so there is no need to strip beds or wash linen, we want you to enjoy being on holiday!

Your Hotel Grade Linen consists of Bed linen, Bath Towels, Bathmats and Hand Towels

We supply a Starter Pack of amenities to ensure that you have some basics, this will eventually run out and is only intended to assist with your first days, these starters include:

Toilet Paper, Tea Towel, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Coffee Pods, Garbage Bags, Dishwashing Sachets, Dishwasher Sachets, Laundry Detergent Sachets, Dish Cloth, Hand Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower Gel, Soap.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Centrally located just minutes walk or drive from Kawana Shopping Centre, Kawana Hotel, and local beaches - Kawana and Mooloolaba.

Note: Not a completely secluded location – Neighbours are nearby, and we have a strict NO PARTY POLICY.

Midgie's Alert: Sandflies can be present at dawn and dusk, as you are waterfront, so pack repellent or wear long sleeves/pants at this time.

Pet Policy: Not dog-friendly yet but will be updated next year once the fencing is complete.

Minyama is a seaside suburb located at the northern end of Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Situated on the Mooloolah River, the suburb is almost entirely surrounded by water. The main thoroughfare, Nicklin Way, is the location of several large retail outlets and some tourist facilities. Minyama boasts one of the most popular marinas along the South East Queensland Coast. The Marina offers direct ocean access within minutes through the safe Mooloolah River passage. This house has beautiful views of the Marina which is why we called it - Marina Views. If you bring your own watercraft you have direct deep water ocean access out of the Mooloolaba river.

With a year-round perfect climate, and the magic of one of Australia’s most popular tourist destinations, Minyama is very central to everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

NOISE POLLUTION
Please respect the neighbors living in the surrounding properties, we have to respect the noise pollution rules - no loud music or loud noise after 10pm.

CLEANING
Our cleaning fee covers linen & your standard clean of the house, any extra cleaning charges incurred due to guest rubbish in yard will be passed on.

Guests must clean BBQ and replace cover.

SAFETY
We want you to enjoy the jetty ~ it is wonderful ~ however all rubbish & excess items cannot be left on or around the jetty or back yard - please also return any water toys to their original place. All rubbish, personal items must be removed when you leave the jetty/backyard.

Cleaning crew will check the surrounding outdoor areas on service; however, it is your responsibility to ensure you leave jetty and outdoor area clean & clear of any mess or personal items.

WATER SAFETY AND CHILDREN
Please ensure children are watched at all times near the water and are not to be left alone near the water, owners will not take responsibility for any accidents in the water or whilst using the kayak.

LOST KEYS
Please be aware if you lose the keys this will incur fee for replacement. We highly recommend leaving key in lock box when you are out for the day to avoid lost keys.


No Smoking INSIDE

Smoking OUTSIDE ONLY please - please dispose of safely upon departure. Any extra cleaning required inside due to smoke odour or cigarette butts will be on charged.

LOST PROPERTY
Please ensure you take all of your belongings when departing. If you do leave something behind, we cannot take responsibility for these items being found.

We will always endeavor to locate your lost goods; however, guests will be required to send a pre-paid postage bag/envelope to our address in order for items to be returned.

If items are taken to lost property storage there will be a $50 fee incurred for staff to pick up from lost property, travel to post office for return to you.

CLEANING:
If extra cleaning beyond a regular clean is required, the guest will be on charged the extra cleaning fee.

AMENITIES:
A starter kit of amenities is provided for a "start up" to your stay. You will need to provide your own after that.

TOWELS/LINEN:
A starter pack of bath towels , bath mat & hand towels are provided and the beds are made up.

NO SMOKING OR VAPING:
Smoking and vaping are permitted outdoors if necessary. However, smoking or vaping inside the house is prohibited and may result in an additional cleaning fee if the smoke odor cannot be removed.

NO PARTIES / NO NOISE:
No parties of any kind. Noise to be kept down at all times, especially between 10pm and 7am. Any callout to address noise issues may be charged a $300 callout fee and may result in the rest of your stay being terminated immediately without any refund of unused nights.

PARKING & SECURITY:
Please do not park across the driveway or obstruct at any time.

CARS & INSURANCE:
We take no responsibility for any damage caused to cars whilst on the property - natural disasters, damages in garage, theft, or mishaps in general - please ensure you have adequate insurance for hire cars or your own car.

COOKING:
Take care when cooking. Any callout fee by the fire brigade is approx. $1200 and will be the responsibility of the guest.

LOCKOUTS:
Lockout call out fee $50.

LOST KEYS:
Lost key fee is $150 each. Lockout fee may also apply. We highly recommend leaving keys in lockbox when going out to avoid lost keys.

LIABILITIES:
We shall not be liable/responsible for issues beyond our control including, but not limited to, power outages, internet outages, amenity malfunctions, unfavourable weather, noise, wildlife/insects/pests or lost property. By making this booking, guests understand and accept that things happen, and no compensation, financial or otherwise, shall be sought or offered in the event of any of the above circumstances.

INTERNET:
No illegal downloads or any other illegal activity permitted.

PETS:
We expect pet owners to pick up all dog mess before leaving property. Any extra time spent cleaning dog fur or waste will be on charged to guest.

GRANNY FLAT:
Granny flat build at front corner of block from end of February 2025. Won’t impact house use. Guests will be advised if activity/noise on site during their stay (daytime only). This notice is to ensure we are transparent for any advance bookings between end February and August 2025. All site access will be from separate entrance from front of block not house driveway.
