The home is great with comfortable furniture both inside and outsideand lovely waterfront views. We especially enjoyed the screened porch. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We did not use the hot tub. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to get away, this is it!

The host contact information was either not accurate, or the host wasn’t available. The Welcome note said the hosts were David and Jeanne, while the contact information that was sent gave me an email and phone number for someone named Bryan. Bryan never responded to my email question. The home was very clean and is in a wonderful location. We look forward to going back again!

This was our second time staying at this property. We love it so much that this time we stayed for the whole month of August. We love the area and looked around for properties to buy. It is our 3rd year staying on Whays Creek. We did not use the hot tub, but it will be a bonus for others. We plan to do this again next year. The only downside with staying a month is that we bring our boat and there is not lift available for use, when we pulled our boat out of the water after a month the bottom was covered in barnacles and algae. IF you are a boater you know how hard that is to clean off. WE LOVED THE PROPERTY. Thank you for sharing your place with us.Andy & Celya

What a wonderful place to stay. It was quiet and peaceful. It had everything we could need. This was our second year in the area, and we will come back again. We loved it!

This is the second year we have rented a house in Whays Creek, and we have found our happy place! The house had everything we needed and/or wanted. There was plenty of room, privacy, and very quiet. We had a relaxing vacation. Check in was easy and we loved spending time outside on the patio, or screened in porch.

This property was fantastic! It had everything we needed and more! We had plenty of space inside the home as well as outside! Lots of different sitting areas outside to enjoy the water! The bunk room was perfect for all the kids to hang out! We brought our wake board boat and the water was deep enough at the dock. We put the boat in at Shell landing about 10 minutes down the road. We will definitely be back!

Our family stayed here for three nights over Easter weekend and it was one of the most well stocked vacation homes we’ve ever experienced. With mid 80s weather, we were able to fully enjoy the hot tub, kayak, canoe, cornhole, dock, and incredible water views from nearly every window. The screened in porch was perfect for watching the sunsets.The kitchen had everything you could imagine including a blender, Crock Pot, full size refrigerator, microwave, plenty of cookware, utensils, and even lots of seasonings. The only thing we couldn’t find was a hand mixer while making mashed potatoes. The dining and living areas were spacious and comfortable, and the fireplace warmed the room quickly in the evenings.We appreciated all the thoughtful touches like extra throw blankets by the patio door, hot tub towels, makeup towels, and bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. There was even a well stocked first aid kit.The kids loved the bonus room above the garage, and the garage itself had fishing poles, nets, paddleboards, bikes, and life jackets. We used the grill and appreciated having extra propane available.The property is very private and dog friendly, which allowed us to bring our Labrador. Our whole family wished we could have stayed longer and were sad to leave.
