Enjoy a spectacular waterfront retreat in Heathsville, Virginia, located in the Northern Neck, with expansive 270-degree views of the Little Wicomico River just off of the Chesapeake Bay. This gorgeous property has a small private sandy area perfect for young children, sits on four acres, and is surrounded by water. It is walking distance to the Sunnybank Ferry and within a short drive to Smith Point Marina.

This property is within ten minutes of many local favorite dining spots, such as restaurants, local wineries, and ice cream parlors. Bring your fishing gear and try to reel some in, or relax on the dock. The house provides gorgeous sunrises and has a stone patio with a propane fireplace and lots of room to grill. Strike up a game of volleyball, corn hole (provided) or bring your own sports equipment and play flag football in the extensive front yard.

The house is well-equipped to entertain with a game table, smart TV, and high-speed WiFi. It boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The family room also includes a pullout sofa bed.

If you're bringing guests who want a little more privacy, the home also has a separate studio apartment with a kitchen, full bath, a sofa bed, and great views of the water for an additional $50 per night. Make your way down and enjoy all that the Northern Neck has to offer!

A wonderful location on the water with great views. Within a very easy and short drive to either Reedville. Kilmarnock, Irvington, White stone etc. Small tip if you plan on eating meals at the house, may be best to plan ahead and bring groceries with you. That was our plan and it really worked out.

Perfect Views to Relax

Adorable home with an amazing view from any window! We kayaked right from the dock. The view is why you stay here! Breathtaking! Management responded quickly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who loves the water and views.

Peaceful paradise!

Absolutely peaceful and a true slice of heaven. We totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back. The kitchen was fully stocked, just pack your clothes that’s all you need. Amazing sunrises and sunsets await you. Total privacy the entire stay.

Gorgeous river views

Our stay exceed expectations. The location was perfect for our July 4th weekend getaway. Lots of lawn to play games and relax. Kayaks were a great bonus for the kids to get on and a enjoy floating on the river. We are already planning our next trip!

The location and views really are as fantastic as they look in the pictures. The house is lovely and in a rural area with lots of farm fields. Owners were very responsive to a couple of questions. We ate most meals on the deck. The ferry next door is neat (and quiet) - we enjoyed both watching it and taking it across. The kayaks look new; unfortunately it was too windy during our stay to use them. The dock (to the right) is in excellent condition. The only downside at all from our trip was what someone else mentioned in the comments - the cookware is non-stick and terribly scratched up which is not healthy. So if that bothers you, you might bring your own pan. Otherwise fully equipped, even a pizza cutter, with very nice kitchen appliances including a toaster oven, microwave, waffle-maker and crock pot. Food Lion is 20 minutes away. We drove to Kilmarnock to the Compass Entertainment Center which is clean, well-run and very cool for teenagers...really well done. I would highly recommend this house and would definitely rent it again. It is quite the amazing piece of property - basically a corner lot on the water.

Wonderful Getaway!

We really enjoyed our long weekend at your home. The property is beautiful! We had fun kayaking, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful views. We even took the ferry beside the property to Reedville for lunch. Communication from Debbie was great. We look forward to our next visit!

A magical place

My family was absolutely in love with this place. The views were magical, the place was peaceful, getting to see deers every single day was truly special. Absolutely gorgeous views of the water both in front of the house and to the side. Plenty of plates, cups, silverware for our family along with little extras like salt, pepper, and sugar.in the cupboard. Coffee bar had a regular coffee maker and a Keurig single serve. Nice size stainless steel fridge to.hokd our groceries. Host was quick to respond. Deck could use a sanding and new stain - it's rough on bare feet. The indication of a beach was a little disappointing - there is no beach. But there is a place to put in the 2 kayaks that the owners are kind enough to provide. Be careful of jellyfish if you are in the water. Furniture seems new for the most part and the house seems freshly painted. I do wish there was more lighting in the front room for working on a puzzle. The dining table does not have an overhead light and there is no nearby lamp. Wonderful stay overall and excellent hosts and neighbors. It's very cool to be next to the ferry too. Loved having use of a dock. And we appreciated the extra blankets because it got quite chilly at night.
