All rental fees, as well as the requirement for guests to provide or rent linens and towels, were disclosed prior to arrival and included in the rental information and lease agreement, which was provided for review before being signed. We also addressed questions regarding these charges prior to the stay. Regarding the pool, our pool technician was scheduled for the property’s regular Saturday service and attended that afternoon. The pool remained open and usable, and the technician confirmed that guests were swimming when he arrived. He brushed the pool, adjusted the chemicals and heater, and reported that the water improved quickly during the visit. We’re sorry that the overall experience did not meet this guest’s expectations. We work hard to be transparent about each privately owned home and its policies before arrival, while also responding promptly when something at a property needs attention.
