This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom condo sits inside Bahia Mar, a gated beachfront resort on South Padre Island with shared beach access, two pools, hot tubs, tennis, pickleball, and a playground. The Space:
Enjoy an exclusive beachfront retreat from our wonderful and spacious condo, ideal for large family vacations and packed with resort amenities! You’ll be on the second floor of Solare Tower with everything you’d need for a rejuvenating and fun vacation.
As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a stylish open-plan layout for the whole family to enjoy. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare a meal at home, from stainless steel appliances to extras like a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and dishwasher! A round conversation-style dining table for meals together and four plush bar stools at the breakfast bar for extra seating, a quick snack or coffee.
Enjoy downtime moments after a fun day at the beach and pool in the living room, which has plenty of comfy seating facing the large wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV with cable—great for movie night! The living room has direct access through the glass doors to the spectacular balcony with a sofa lounge and outdoor dining table if you prefer to eat al fresco.
When it’s time to rest for the night, there are four bedrooms, all with TVs! Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, direct access to the balcony, and a private bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and Bedrooms 3 and 4 both have two queen beds in each. You can comfortably sleep 12 in this condo!
Additional highlights include WiFi for streaming TV services or working on your laptop, a washer and ironing equipment, linens, towels, beach towels, shampoo, hairdryers, and 2 car parking spaces onsite.

The nearest international airport is Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport (BRO), which is about 27 miles away. You’ll have parking onsite at the complex. Walking around the island is fun, too!

- The property is on the 2nd floor. There is an elevator, but in the unlikely event the fire alarms sound, you’ll be required to walk down the stairs.
- Travelers must be at least 21 years old to book, and someone 21 years of age or older must be present during the entire stay.
- Guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
- Guests will be required to provide a valid I.D. (with photo and signature) and to sign the registration form upon arrival and check-in.
- All guests will be provided wristbands that they must wear for the duration of the stay.
- Depending on the booking site to make the reservation, a security deposit might be required, refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
- No more guests than those listed on the reservation are allowed, and no guests who are not already listed on the reservation are permitted.
- The rental includes electricity (internet, air conditioning, etc.), use of the common area swimming pool, and two parking permits. An additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on-site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed on the property for an extra fee, but no RVs or motor homes will be allowed.
- BBQ grills are available in the designated “Palenque” area and are perfect for an outdoor meal with family or friends. The two-burner grill is $40, and the four-burner grill is $50.
- No smoking of any kind inside the home! Drug use and illegal activity on the premises are also strictly prohibited. Failure to comply results in a $300 fine. PLEASE DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE SMOKE ALARM. There is an $800 charge for tampering with it.
- No parties, events, or excessive noise after 10 pm. Please respect the neighbors.
- Cleaning service is available at an extra cost. Let us know in advance to book it.
- There are outdoor security cameras for safety and security.
- Guests are responsible for damages that occur or extra cleaning costs as a result of their stay.
- Pets are not allowed at this property.
- Our properties are family-oriented, and good behavior is expected from our guests. This includes respect for the Resort/HOA rules and the pool and common area rules and hours. Failure to comply with these policies is grounds for eviction from the property and a fine.
Interaction with Guests:
Once at the complex's entrance, give your name to Security. They will provide you with the keys, wristbands and parking passes. You’ll be required to wear your wristbands during the entire stay.

First, I will say that I never leave reviews… but I had to just so that continued issues would be resolved for the future guests. The size was great for our family of seven. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. I wish I had paid closer attention to previous reviews. In June 2025, a previous review mentioned shower doors in master not working well. We experienced the same thing in June 2026. The glass doors would not slide open or closed very well at all. To the point I was afraid it would shatter. I was very disappointed that, although it was provided in the unit, the dryer did not work. Of course we did not know this until we had washed a load of clothes. When I messaged the host, she informed me that the dryer is not a part of the amenities. Hard to believe anyone would want to wash clothes and not be able to dry them… we had wet clothes draped all over the condo to get them to air dry… took almost 2 days. The living room furniture was stained and worn down. There were not enough dishes to accommodate our family for even one meal. The walk to the beach is much longer than appears to be. Not much of a deal breaker, but def wasn’t expected. One last thing, apparently it’s normal for the fire alarms to go off and building evacuated. Needless to say, not only will we not stay in this condo again, we will not stay at this property.

We haven’t been to South Padre for 4 years. The Bahia Mar has also been a great resort. However this stay was disappointing. The resort overall has gone downhill. The condo itself did not match the pictures. The master shower glass was broken. The dishwasher did not work. There was a broken rusted table on the balcony. It wasn’t the same resort we remembered years ago.

We were slightly disappointed with our stay. The pictures of this condo must have been taken when it was new. I felt like the condo was not well maintained. There were broken utensiles, an old coffee pot, chips out of the wall, etc. We were not given enough pool towels and never received additional towels when requested. We were not given extra toilet paper and had to request that. The pools and beach access were great. The condo accommodated our 11 family members well, which was what we were looking for. Everyone had their own bathroom, which was important!

Family Vacation
The property and the host were great. Hosts were very gracious with access to the property earlier than expected as requested. The beach was just a couple minutes walk and the two pools with spas were good to escape the sand. Whether you were with family or looking for a relaxing trip for two, it was overall a great experience. Had all the amenities needed for a week long trip. Clean, comfortable, and having 4 bedrooms and 4 baths made getting ready much easier and we all had a private space. The view from a very well manicured and kept board walk was great to spend time close “enough” to the beach. It was nice having our own personal use of table and chairs with umbrellas, FOR FREE.The picture here is of the view directly from the area just before the sand. It was all private property and glad this was the trip celebrating our last son’s graduation.There really wasn’t much of a drawback, and if there was, the overall experience outweigh the small inconveniences.See ya next year!

The property is good in the way there are 4 bedrooms and they all have their own bathroom. The deck furniture is not as pictured. The condo itself is a little tired and could use some paint. It was very clean and that is always a plus. I rent condos or homes is because I enjoy cooking and having breakfast in the condo. The kitchen is not well stocked. There are not enough coffee cups and glasses for the amount of people the property sleeps. There are no kitchen towels provided to dry dishes. If you don’t use the kitchen, it won’t be an issue. The full sizes coffee pot does not work. The 8 cup pot does. The communication was fast but I felt like I had to ask for the information. The check in info doesn’t get sent until 2 hours before which is odd to me. I like to get all the information at home, print it out and highlight the important stuff. The last thing that was disappointing is looking at the VRBO map shows the building right on the beach-not so much. Just realize there are condos closer to the beach if that is important to you.
