Le Mas de la Coupière - Piscine et Sauna

This house, dating from 1823 and nestled against the hillside, combines old-world charm with modern comforts – it’s the perfect setting for a get-together with family or friends! Just a few kilometres from Foix and in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Park, Le Mas de la Coupière promises a truly relaxing stay.

This 224 m² house, spread over three floors and accommodating up to 12 guests, comprises a dining room, lounge, fully equipped kitchen, six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a separate toilet, a sauna, and a lovely garden with a terrace and swimming pool. Wi-Fi (fibre optic), bed linen and towels included.

The accommodation is laid out as follows:
Ground floor:
- Living room furnished with a three-seater sofa, armchairs, a bookcase and a TV.
- A light-filled dining room, furnished with a large table seating up to 12 guests, a sideboard, a decorative fireplace and an upright piano (please use it with care).
- Large, bright, fully equipped kitchen: dining table, 5 chairs, dishwasher, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, hob, crockery and cutlery...
- “Relaxation room” fitted with a sauna for 4 people, a shower and an exercise bike.
- Separate toilet.

First floor:
- A large master bedroom with a double bed (140 cm x 190 cm).
- Shower room with shower and toilet.
- Bedroom 2 with a double bed (140 cm x 190 cm).
- Bedroom 3 with a double bed (140 cm x 190 cm) and French windows leading onto a small balcony.
- Bedroom 4 with a double bed (140 cm x 190 cm), a glass-fronted wardrobe and a decorative fireplace.
- Bedroom 5 with a single bed and a writing or reading area.
- Spacious bathroom with twin washbasins, a jet shower and a bath.
- Utility room fitted with a washing machine.

Second floor:
- Relaxation lounge with an armchair, a coffee table and a TV.
- Bedroom 6 furnished with a double bed (140 cm x 190 cm) and a single bed, as well as an open-plan shower room adjoining the bedroom with a shower and washbasin.

Games for teenagers and adults are provided to entertain young and old alike during your stay.

Outdoor areas:
- A lovely, unheated above-ground swimming pool measuring 5.25 x 2.80 x 1.15, open from April to the end of October. The terrace surrounding the pool has been newly tiled. Parents are fully responsible for their children whilst they are swimming.
- A south-facing garden of 600 m² with flowers and trees.

Three terraces surround the house:
- On the ground floor, a terrace furnished with a table seating 12 people in the shade of awnings, benches and small tables, a barbecue, a sink and a gas hob. You can enjoy your lunches here.
- A shaded terrace on a half-landing with a table and four reclining chairs.
- A terrace surrounding the swimming pool with garden furniture comprising two armchairs and a coffee table, as well as four sun loungers.

The neighbourhood:
The house, set against the hillside, is situated in a quiet, secluded neighbourhood within the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Park. A 300-metre walk away, you’ll find a bakery and a small grocery shop.

- Foix town centre is 7.7 km away (10 minutes’ drive).
- Lake Mondély is 23.1 km away (30 minutes’ drive).
- Niaux Cave is 30.6 km away (33 minutes’ drive).
- Montségur Castle is 38.7 km away (42 minutes’ drive).

Activities:
In the heart of the Ariège, Le Mas de la Coupière is the ideal base from which to explore the region’s treasures. History buffs and adventure seekers alike will be delighted by this area. Let yourself be carried away by the walks that wind through the region. Castles, caves and lakes dot the landscape.
For the more adventurous and thrill-seekers: paragliding from Prat d’Albis and canoeing or kayaking down the Ariège!
