Nice clean apartment
Great for staying with a pet dog, close the beach and cafe where you can sit outside with your dog. The place also has a great back garden for the dog and a place to rinse them off after a beach walk/swim.

The house was very charming! Its location was really great. Right around the corner from a beach entrance. Also good distance from park and restaurants! We had our Dog as well and he was very happy with the yard! Would definitely rent again.

Fantastic!
My family (two adults, two young teens, and our dog) stayed here for a week in October. It was fantastic! There were a few things that could stand to be updated (rugs, bedding, some decor), but that didn’t detract from our stay. The property had everything we needed, check-in and check-out were simple, and the location was perfect. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Getting away for a few days!
House was clean and great for 5!! Was able to bring our dog, good backyard for her, which was a plus! No bath mats to step out onto when done showering, and only 1 roll of TP In each bathroom. For us that would have been the only things extra we thought could have been done.

Nice Neighborhood
It was a good place to walk the dog in the mornings. Walking distance to the beach and some shops. In my opinion a small rug for the dog to lay on would be helpful, our poor dog was sliding around on the tiles and trying hard to get comfortable. As well as to please refill all the hand soap dispensers. Other than that I would return for another stay.

Fantastic house
This house was everything we hoped it would be! Family of 4 and 2 puppies wanted a small cute house with backyard close to the beach. The description online is exactly what we experienced. A cute little 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with little kitchen and washer dryer. We made our own food to save money. Puppies played in the backyard. Beach was half a block away. We went home with freshly washed clothes. Wonderful. Highly recommend.

Cute and cozy property near the beach.
The townhouse was brightly decorated and comfortable and was adequately equipped The fenced outdoor area was great for my dog. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.
My only complaint is that the property is VERY close to the house next door, which has a backyard pool and outdoor patio with a TV. The first of three rental groups there during my stay was eight guys--I think maybe a bachelor party--and they were literally up until 4 a.m. three nights in a row partying and playing VERY loud music so that I literally could not sleep. If there is a noise ordinance in SPI it is not being enforced.

Noisy Neighbors and bad plumbing
The property has seen better days. It is a little odd in the way it is set up. The outdoor bistro in an alcove off the kitchen is wasted space, but worse still it is an echo chamber for the very noisy neighbors on the right hand side. On Friday night they went ballistic, shouting, hooting, playing in the pool. I get it, it was a weekend, they were young, but it was impossible to get any sleep. The lack of a solid wall there to help buffer sound is a real problem. The other side is a shared wall with the other townhome and it was a little noisy a few nights, but nothing like the Friday night fiasco. There was also mold, the master bath clogged up and I had to be a plumber one day on my vacation. I will never stay here again and I sure would not recommend anyone else stay here either.

Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions. We apologize for all the problems you encountered, and we wish we could have been appraised of the issues you faced while you were in residence. We would have promptly corrected the clogged drain. We are a resort community and admittedly people can sometimes be noisy however the city has noise ordinances whereby visitors and the owner of the property face financial fines for violations. We are always available 24/7/365 and If we would have known at the time this occurred, we would have taken action. We are sorry your stay was less than desirable.

Not staying here again
First of all the check in and check out process are the worst you have to be at their office at a certain hour to check in and check out otherwise they want to charge you so that’s very inconvenient. The place was ok but a bit on the dirty side and it had the front window blinds broken so that room was no usable unless we hang a drape over it. The main area was clean and nice, kitchen was good too. However they left us with no extra trash bags and very little towels to use so we had to wash the towels (w our own detergent) so we could reuse them. Also not ever using this platform I had to go through the agents website and they wanted to charge extra fees on their so I felt what you get on the website is not the terms you get on the other forms you have to fill out, it was just more work. It was so many extra steps.

Needs some TLC
There were several things wrong that should have been corrected before anyone checked in. In one of the bedrooms, the blinds had been destroyed halfway up from the bottom and light came in at night plus not very private. Something electrical in same bedroom was hanging out of wall. We had a small dog and the fenced yard was convenient. But the grass was taller than she was, trash in yard and multiple wires were in the back on the ground. Kitchen: coffee pot was old,, lid on carafe was broken, burner was peeling and not even 1 filter provided. Couch had torn cushions. Some of lights in house did not work. Most VRBO’s have a notebook/instructions to various things in house. There was nothing here. The Spectrum cable was complicated to figure out. The location to the beach was easy walk and enjoyed the closeness of Cafe on the Beach. This is the first VRBO that was not up to the standards we expect.

2 Week Stay
First off, let me say that the property itself is great. It's been newly updated, the interior is clean and comfortable and the back yard is really nice, especially with pets. The furniture is good and the kitchen is well equipped.
I rarely give non 5 star reviews but there were a number of things that frustrated us during our stay though. Firstly, there is a property management company acting as middleman that was not clear from the VRBO listing. This in and of itself is not a problem but it does increase costs significantly. The pet fee was added after the fact (even though I booked with 2 pets on VRBO), + 17% "hotel fees" , then another 4% was added for the management company bringing it to more than 20% higher than expected. There is a very small window of "open hours" that the management company keeps, think 3-6pm, which means you have to pay a significant fee (again +17% and +4%) for "late check in" in order for someone to be "on call". Late check in doesn't mean anyone is doing anything, since there is a lock box with keys, so that's another surprise cost. That being said, a plumber did arrive within 2 hours for a minor issue when we called.
Secondly, pretty much all consumables have to be purchased. There is one toilet paper roll, no laundry detergent, no all purpose cleaner and a single (one!) dishwasher pod. The dish sponge was old and dirty as well. This may not be an issue for a one or two night stay but for anything longer it means buying or bringing all of those things. It just needs to be communicated that this is the case so that you don't have to go shopping for basics on day 1, and in my personal opinion, those basics are must-have at any vacation rental. The most frustrating part of this was that it took 6 whole days to receive a response to a question about these items.
Lastly, the communication was lacking. VRBO messages were responded to slowly and the property management questions straight up ignored certain emails, including about parking passes that we were supposed to have but never ended up getting.
One last thing is that it would be nice to have a few larger beach towels, especially with the in-house washing machine.
Other than that, we did have a great time.
