Lovely Home in Shipyard

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 12 greatly enjoyed our week in this rental house. Everything you need is available for your use. We enjoyed the pool, eating at the big table, playing games around the round table and biking everywhere.

Amazing Location!

Loved our Spring Break getaway here! Great short walk to the beach, warm pool for the kids and an amazing spot to be in Hilton Head Island. We will be back!

Fantastic Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was amazing in every way! This is our third year coming to Hilton Head Island and this was by far the best place we have stayed by a mile. The main living area is huge and the bedrooms are well spread out. The screened in pool is something we have never had before and we all loved it. We had one minor issue where we tripped a breaker (100% our fault). The property management company was out in less than 20 minutes to fix the issue and reset the breaker we tripped. Impressive all around. Would definitely book here again!

Beach vacation

Beautiful newly renovated house with large great room big enough for family meals. Having your own pool was great and was’t too far to HHI’s fabulous beaches

Plenty of space, clean rooms, comfy beds. Everyone enjoyed the heated pool. It was worth the extra fee for the week. The Beachside Getaway gear credit was a bonus as well. We were able to use it to rent beach chairs do we could leave ours at home! The entire experience from booking to staying to leaving was wonderful!

Great house great location

This is our second stay in Shipyard. We enjoyed the location, the layout of the house and having everything on one floor. Lots of different areas in the great room for different activities.

Great stay, thanks for being so accommodating

Had to change plans at the last minute and ended up at 14 Egret which was perfect for our family. Great beach access and proximity to Coligny. Great communication from owner and rental agency. Will book again on our next trip to HHI.

Exceptional Property

Spouse and I chaperoned 8 men college tennis players. The guys enjoyed their stay. Thought the house was so awesome. Adequate room. Liked the bonus room upstairs.

Fall Break Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time on Hilton Head Island. The house was very nice and more than met our needs for the week. It was a short walk to the beach, but if you didn’t go to the beach, there was a pool at the house for our use. One member in our family is a quadriplegic and the main floor was quite accessible for him. I would highly recommend this property.

Golf Trip House

we held our 28th annual golf trip. The house was perfect for us. It is great to be able to share a house that accommodates a large group. It is always nice to be able sit and visit as most of us see each other one time a year. It was the perfect house.

Nice HHI experience

Was a convenient location for beach access and all things Hilton Head. Short car ride to beach parking. Also could be done walking if the group is capable of about 1.5 miles. Property was large enough for 8 and well maintained.

The home is perfect for a large crowd. We had relatives coming in all throughout the week. Only issue was that you only could park 3 cars at the home and had to find other parking. The kitchen is well stocked and a plus was the wine cooler. Decor and upkeep on house

Great family vacation

We had such a fun time for our first time at Hilton Head. The home had plenty of room for all 14 of us and the kitchen was amazing. The bike ride to the beach access was easy (not for young kids though). But we had alot of stuff so the guys had to drive our stuff to the beach in the morning and set up then we would all meet them shortly after. Kids loved the pool also.

A fun girls 70th birthday celebration

What a fabulous home to stay in at Hilton Head Island. 7 high school girlfriends celebrating turning 70 this year. The home was absolutely perfect for our group. It is a beautiful home with lots of beds & bathrooms, open concept and updated furnishings and decor. Management checked in with us periodically to make sure all was well.

Perfect Family home

We were able to enjoy this home for a week's stay on HHI. The location was great, and the property management was very responsive when we had issues arise. The rooms were very quiet, which was great as we did have a 7-month-old with us. The only disappointment was the pool water was a bit chilly to use. The hammock was a big hit by everyone. The beach was amazing. The smoke alarms are heat sensitive as well in the kitchen area- lol. We did arrive in torrential rain, and the walkway to the stairs was flooded but one can't control Mother Nature.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House easily accommodated our group of 8 adults. Access to house was easy, although we had to wait longer than expected despite having requested and been told we could have an early check in. Management company was very responsive, even providing extra mugs since there was a limited amount compared to our group size. Kitchen was spacious, allowing for multiple people to work at the same time without being in each others way. Cooking supplies were less than desired for the amount of people the house could accommodate...but the air popper was great to have!! House was clean upon arrival; beds were comfortable; showers were great. Lots of games, cards, and puzzles. Outside area was shadier than desired for time of year, no grassy area, cornhole was nice, view of golf course was minimal (we would have preferred more of a view). Neighborhood was quiet despite close proximity of neighbors. We would stay here again.

From the check in process to the departure process Beachside Getaway was a pleasure to work with. They provided all of the necessary information for us, and we felt at home when we were there. The property was exactly as pictured and was beautiful. While the weather didn't cooperate as expected, we still made use of the large and comfortable main living area to cozy up on the couches and watch movies and we even swam in the pool in the rain one day! The walk to the beach was pleasant, and we walked there nearly every morning. Unfortunately, it was too much for one of our friends with knee issues, so we were grateful for the drop off circle close to the Shipyard private beach access, and the close parking available. If the weather had been better, there would have been a lot of competition for those few parking spots, but I think we might have been one of the few brave groups to hit the beach on the two days it wasn't pouring from the remnants of Erin. Thanks for providing us with such a beautiful home to have our girls' weekend!
