Studio with a full-sized bed and a sofa (futon) bed, AC, a basic cable TV in the unit.
Kitchens are fully equipped! full-sized fridge, oven, microwave, cook stove, coffee maker, toaster, rice-cooker and more!

In the bathroom, hand-held shower and bathtub.

NOTICE: Marine Surf Waikiki Exterior Concrete Repair / Painting Project Starting October 27th, 2025
• Start Date: Monday, October 27, 2025
• Duration: Approximately 6–12 months (weather & conditions permitting)
• Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (excluding weekends & holidays)
• Noise Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (jackhammering, grinding, and vibration expected)
• Access: Work performed via swing stage scaffolding; areas below active drops will be closed for safety.
• During lanai repairs, contractors may secure lanai doors from the outside, leaving no more than a 4" gap for airflow.

• For safety reasons, the swimming pool will remain CLOSED during the entire duration of the project. The pool area will not be accessible until all exterior work is complete.

Cockroaches!!

Too many cockroaches!! I was looking for the place that I can cook during the stay, but there are too many cockroaches that I couldn’t even stand at kitchen. Of course the location is great, but I will not stay again here.

Good overall, but broken fridge

When I first arrived there was some unrelated issues with parking that the host very quickly helped me resolve. The Flat was clean and well supplied. Some reviewers complained about roaches, we say none at all, but know this: it's the tropics, even the fanciest hotels get infestations. I lived in Honolulu for 7 years and it was a constant battle I never really won. "Clean your house and you get cleaner bugs" is a common saying around here. The only real con was that the fridge stopped working, or never really worked. The freezer was fridge temp, the fridge was barely below room temperature, and when I tried texting the host through VRBO, they never got back to us. All of our produce rotted the next day. We had planned to cook most of our food, but we spent a lot more money eating out as a result.

Property well past its prime

Really disappointed in this property. Stayed here because of the location and free parking. The building is a mix of hotel/short term rentals. The good: included parking, though tight garage and spot; Toto bidet toilet seat; air conditioning works. The bad: Budget, but not cheap enough to offset issues with property; LOTS of deferred maintenance; The handicapped lift from the street to entrance and washer on the floor of the unit were both broken; Much of the furniture in the room does not match pictures… Looks like things may have gotten damaged over time and the management company replaced previous items with furniture from goodwill; Chipped paint on all of the furniture and kitchen shelving. Cabinets in kitchen maligned; Bed mattress had a sinking spot and discovered the slats had fallen off one corner… Thankfully, I was able to fix this myself; Unit was quite dirty. Carpet could use a deep cleaning; Headboard was slippery; Fridge and freezer both had two small cockroaches dead inside of them; Saw roaches multiple times a day in the kitchen near the fridge and also on the bathroom sink; I grew up in Hawaii and understand pests can sometimes be unavoidable, but the unit certainly could benefit from a regular visit by an exterminator. Lastly, housekeepers knocked and tried to enter unit before check out time. All in all, not the best. Ok if you plan on being out most of the time and really drunk while in the unit. Otherwise, I would pay for parking and stay elsewhere.

Every appliance was working, was very clean, felt very safe in this building. I had the best visit here i definitely will be a returning visitor to this spot!

Disappointed

Bed Sheet were slept in appliances did not work including bidet in the toilet fridge will not cool things food got spoiled. Lift on the floor will not go down you have to go up first in order to go down.

AMAZING location, just the basics.

If you’re looking for a place just to sleep and shower, stay here! We picked this place, stayed on the 4th floor, because of the LOCATION! Walking distance to everything. But also free parking spot, which is vital in Waikiki. Also includes a kitchen, which is great for saving a little money on some breakfasts/ dinners. Only downside was the bugs. We had to smush quite a few cockroaches, but really nothing out of the normal for Hawaii… there will be bugs on an island. Place was clean! Comfy bed. Good shower. Just the basics for your stay. We honestly didn’t spend a lot of time there. Just sleeping and showering. Go explore Hawaii! We will definitely be staying again in the future!!!
