With the iconic Chatham village just 5 minutes down the road, you will have endless possibilities with beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, and the many events that this quaint town has to offer. Orleans center is just 10 minutes in the opposite direction with shops, beaches and restaurants as well. So come relax, and enjoy all that Cape Cod has to offer.

Beautiful setting

We had a wonderful stay and loved the location. Easy days relaxing by the water.....kayaking, fishing, sunbathing. Location is very convenient for shopping, beaches and golf. Views can’t be beat and Amy was a pleasure to rent from.

Stunning house and view!

Great long weekend

This property was absolutely amazing. We stayed for a long holiday weekend and there were so many things to do within 20 minutes. We explored different beaches, shopping and restaurants. While at the house, we enjoyed beautiful views of Pleasant Bay that offered amazing sunrises, and nature watching. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We would absolutely go back to this house again.

Great stay

This was a great house! The views are even nicer than the pictures from the website. The location is perfect. We especially enjoyed seeing the sunrise over the bay and kayaking with the included kayaks. The kitchen was somewhat less equipped than we expected, so we did not cook as much. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Most gorgeous view imaginable

The photos can't give the full scope of the gorgeous views from the front deck and nearly every room in the house, overlooking Pleasant Bay. Plus, the house was very comfortable and well-stocked for cooking. Just astoundingly beautiful location. And the owner is very nice and responds quickly to questions.

Great Cape Escape

We stayed at this lovely cottage in October to celebrate our birthdays. The location is breathtaking and we were able to enjoy some unseasonably warm weather by taking out the kayaks on the beautifully calm bay. I can see that this would be an amazing place for a family to stay in the summer and hope we can come back again some day to enjoy the beach. We took the kayaks across the bay to the beach and enjoyed a walk there. Great location - close to Chatham and many great restaurants.

Waterfront Gem

Beautiful home and incredible view of the bay! The house had plenty of room and many windows. Kitchen had everything we needed. The location allowed easy access to all areas of the cape. It was nice sitting out on the large wrap around deck. The included Kayaks were a nice touch.

Beautiful family memories made

We had an amazing stay here. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Amy was so thoughtful and even left some things for the kids. We were well stocked for the beach with chairs, towels, and a boogie board. The views were breathtaking. I was able to watch the sunrise each morning without even getting out of bed. We highly recommend this beautiful home for your next vacation.

Pleasant Bay Paradise

We had a fabulous week and absolutely loved the amazing views. The house was very clean and comfortable, with more than enough room for our group of 5 adults. The kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, air conditioning worked great to keep the house cool when needed. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck, and the beautiful sunrises over the bay.The nearby rail trail was convenient for walking, running and biking, and we enjoyed visiting nearby Chatham for shopping and dinners. We absolutely recommend this lovely house and beautiful location for a relaxing and tranquil vacation by the sea.

Great place and great location and views. Only disappointment was having to provide own sheets and towels, but maybe that is a result of Covid issues. Amy was a great host and helped us with TV so we could watch Bruins playoff game! Woohoo!

Beauty and charm

We had a fabulous stay here. The property is on a gorgeous spot on Pleasant Bay. The water glistens out the windows. There are many beautiful paddling options available and we took advantage of the nice kayaks on the property. The house is clean and comfortable and precisely as described. The neighbors (family members) who share the dock could not have been more friendly and helpful. We want to go back!!

Amazing stay on Pleasant Bay!

Our family of 6 stayed here and what an amazing vacation this home offered us! House is clean, great layout, and close in proximity to everything we needed. Amy was wonderful in communicating throughout the process and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Our kids loved going out on the water to kayak, fish, and search for sea animals and sea shells. Beautiful evenings on the deck were unbelievably peaceful and serene. We didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful view

Home was just as pictured. Beautiful view and peaceful setting. Clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Amy the owner promptly responded to any questions I sent. We were a group of 7 adults - parents and adult children - and didn’t feel cramped. Upstairs sitting area, decks, plus living/ dining room gave us all the space we needed. Enough parking for our 3 cars. This was our first visit to Cape Cod so had to get used to driving everywhere. Overall a great stay!

Wonderful stay, great for kayaking!

We had a great short stay at this waterfront property. The location is ideal for anyone that likes to kayak or boat around. We had two small kids with us and had no issues kayaking to the perfect little island across the way. It really is SO close you can swim there if you wanted! The house has incredible views from all around. It was great to have kayaks and beach chairs available at the house - though the decks need some more lounge chairs for enjoying the views. Location is also very close to shopping and restaurants - we got plenty of take out! Overall a great stay. Amy was very helpful with any questions we had! We hope to be back!

Really enjoyed our stay

Wonderful property. The views really sell it. Hard to beat waking up every day to water and boaters and all kinds of wildlife. The house is clean and spacious, plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. Kayaks are a great amenity, just be warned they have to be carried up and down a number of steps. Owner was incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we needed anything. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cups, pots and pans. The house is on a cul-de-sac so its very quiet. No real yard to speak of and the cul-de-sac is off a busy road so may be harder for smaller children who have a lot of energy and want to get out and about, but for our teenage boys who liked sitting on the deck listening to music and watching the water it was perfect. Short drive to Chatham and slightly longer ride to Orleans. Really enjoyed it and would stay there again.

Perfect location and incredible views

We had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend getaway at this well-maintained house with a breathtaking view of the bay. Our group of 7 (ages 17 to 81) found the location ideal! It was just minutes from Harwich which was perfect for visiting our son who works there. It was a quick drive to the village of Chatham which was great for shopping. Taking a right out of the driveway headed us to fantastic hiking trails in Orleans and Eastham. The house had plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck with ample seating during the day, and the cozy interior was perfect for unwinding at night when it got cooler. The kitchen was fully equipped, so we easily prepared delicious meals at home. The rental even included two kayaks, making it easy to explore the nearby water. The host was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions before and during our stay. This house provided a perfect combination of relaxation, convenience, and fun for our group! We would definitely stay here again!

The House on the Bay

We loved the property. Our only complaints are: The flusher to the upstairs toilet did not work properly and eventually totally disconnected. It should be properly repaired. The upstairs sheets were ripped. The upstairs balancing was not cleaned when we arrived. Neither was the outside main table. Guests cannot walk anywhere from the house. There are no walking paths or access to neighborhoods. Still, we had a lovely time and enjoyed the property thoroughly.

Hi Luann I’m so sorry that you had an issue with the toilet, and that you weren’t satisfied with the location of the house. I wish you had reached out to me regarding the toilet flusher so that I could have sent someone right over to repair it. I also did not realize the upstairs sheets were ripped, we have since replaced them with new sheets. My sincere apologies! I hope that overall you and your guests were able to enjoy your stay. ~Amy

Waterfront Home in Great Location

We stayed at this home in Sept, 2021. It's a lovely house with fantastic views and waterfront access via a staircase. We put kayaks in from the staircase with no problem. You can view the sunrise from the deck with ease. There is a decent sized deck on which we ate nearly every meal. The bedroom mix is one king, one queen, one full and two twins. A loft on the second floor is useful if you need a little office space or exercise area. Our party of six adults was very comfortable all week long. The house is very quiet. Pleasant Bay is a dream. A beachfront walk is available at low tide from the other side of the bay. You can get to the beach via car in one minute or on foot in about ten (it's under the Route 28 bridge). All in all, this is a lovely home, with great views and a convenient location. The owner was very pleasant and easy to get in touch with. Happy Travels to All!
