Honeybee By The Sea is a newly constructed 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home in the Highland Parks neighborhood of Blue Mountain Beach. Grayton Beach, Seaside and WaterColor are a quick car ride or enjoyable bike ride away, with plenty of local shops and eateries.

Across the street, your family will love the impressive lagoon/resort-style pool. Enjoy the hot tub, waterfall, outdoor fire pit, grilling area, TV, and a 360-degree observation tower where you can take in the views of the area, including the Gulf.

The first level is a roomy, open area, with a flat-screen TV, and plenty of seating. The full kitchen, with new appliances, is ideal for preparing a large meal or a snack for the beach. The first level is also home to a primary bedroom, king, with a dual vanity and a walk-in shower.

Ideal for the young crowd to relax and unwind, a cozy loft, with comfortable seating and TV, is on the second level, as is a primary bedroom, king, with private bath. A Jack and Jill bath is shared between a guest room, queen, and a bunk room with 2 twin bunkbeds.

Wonderful Vacay Home

There were 6 adults & 1 teenager in our group & everyone enjoyed their stay at Honeybee by the Sea. It was conveniently located by the beach, various shops & restaurants. The neighborhood was nice & quiet. This home made our visit a 10/10!

Summer Vacation 2024

Our stay was amazing and my family loved it! Check-in was easy, the house was beautiful inside and out and literally right across from the pool. The beaches were minutes away from the rental and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Minutes away from stores and restaurants. Highly recommend and will be renting again.

Family Spring Break

This stay in Santa Rosa was just what we needed to get away from our busy lives. The house was nice and with great amenities for our family. The rooms were sizable, comfortable beds, and our kids enjoyed riding the bikes. The house is close to the beach and walking distance to many of the restaurants in Santa Rosa.

October 2020 Stay

Amazing location and home! The home has two great gathering areas for a total family connection or for adults and kids to spend time seperately. The location is ideal with fast access to the beach, shops, restaurants and state parks. We LOVED the amazing pool and firepit; created great family fun! Cannot wait to go back.

Fall Break 2021

Beautiful house in Blue Mountain Beach. House had a fully stocked kitchen, nice decor and comfortable sofas and beds. Loved the kids had their own area upstairs. Pool was nice and just a super short walk away. Beach was about a 3 min drive.

A nice place to stay

Nicely appointed home for your beach needs. Easy to get to beach from the property (about 1.5 miles to Gulfview Heights public beach). Kitchen is nicely supplied with cooking utensils, etc. Good bathroom to bedroom ratio. Bright! Sunlight is most bedrooms is early so be prepared, but you're at the beach - sleep out there! Definitley would stay here again.

Gorgeous and Well-Appointed Home

We loved our time at Honeybee by the Sea! The house was great for our two families. The kids loved the bunk room and upstairs family room. The two primary rooms were great for the adults. Everything was very clean. The home had everything we needed and then some! It was very handy to have the washer and dryer. We loved the proximity to the pool. The temperature at the pool and hot tub were great! We enjoyed going to the beach, but spent most of our time at the pool given the cooler water temps in the Gulf. The neighborhood was great to walk in. It was quiet and everyone was friendly. The walking path along 30A was also great! The home had a nice proximity to things like Publix and The Donut Hole. It was also nicely situated between Destin to the west and Rosemary Beach to the east. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Wonderful home

Honeybee by the Sea was a great vacation home to stay in with our family. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable!! Close enough yo the beach access and close to cute little shops. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness of the home. Upon our arrival we found hair in the master bathroom, clumps of long hair on the rug in the master bedroom and hair on the bottom of the nightstands also. Dust balls under the bun beds in the bunk room and hair on one of the bath mats that was folded in one of the upstairs bathrooms. Also there was grease splattered all over the cabinets above the stove and microwave which I tried cleaning to no avail. Other than those issues which I believe have to do with the cleaning company, we absolutely loved our stay!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We needed a perfect getaway space away from home, and Honeybee By The Sea was exactly what we needed! The home was very clean, spacious, and had all the bells and whistles that we needed for our mini-vacation. As soon as we drove up, we met the neighbors, and they were so very friendly and helpful with giving us tips about the beach and local places to eat. Some houses smell clean but are dirty; Honeybee By The Sea not only smelled cleaned, but it was exceptionally clean--even the nooks and crannies in the drawers, cabinets, and corner spaces, and that was important to us with a young and active baby. The kitchen was well-appointed, and the coffee maker, utensils, and appliances were clean and like new. Every room and bathroom was spacious and coastal decorated, and the home is carefully laid out so that if you have a lot of people in your group, you're not tripping over each other. We have an infant who is beginning to crawl and pull-up, and we felt safe with him being in the living room and around the furniture. The icing on the cake was the resort-style pool, my goodness! This was our baby's first beach vacation, and we specifically rented this home because of the resort style pool, as we didn't know how baby would take to the sand and water. The pool was super close, just a few steps away from this home, and it was just what we needed. The pool is definitely resort style as described in the overview, and the heated pool was just heavenly. As for close proximity to the beach, we were a quick 3 minute drive away. In terms of dining out--we did not because we're still in a pandemic and don't feel totally safe with our baby in crowded settings (even though we are fully vaccinated). Therefore, we ordered takeout from Redfish (yummy tacos), Stinky's (cajun seafood that is just absolutely delicious), and First Watch for breakfast. I definitely recommend this place for a beach getaway. If you're on the fence about booking, just do it, and be happy!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great rooms, updated furnishings and floor plan. Couches / chair cushions were dirty. Great space for a family. 2/3 of the bikes broke (not maintained well) and it took 2 days to get replacements - then 1 of those bikes was broken as well. The neighborhood was great, we really enjoyed being so close to the pool. Plenty of room for the kids and overall had a great time. One thing I would say, is I tried to call the property management company 3 different times during my stay. Each time, it would ask me to send a text. I would get a quick reply to the text most of the time - and i understand the efficiencies you probably gain from this strategy - but, it would have been much easier for me to explain the bike situation on the phone instead of calling / text messaging multiple people.

Fall Break Getaway

We booked a last minute vacation for Fall Break. I was a little apprehensive since we booked one of the last available homes. This place was great - not sure how it wasn’t already booked! It’s not super close to the beach but we never had an issue parking right at the beach. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids. The beds were very comfortable. There was an issue with check in/cleaning when we arrived but the management company was quick to solve the issue. Overall it was a great trip!

Plenty of room and clean

This property had plenty of room for three families, two of which had children. The property was also very clean and overall very nice. The only downside is not having any sort of patio/outside area at the home to enjoy.

Awesome place!

Beautiful house! Very well kept and very clean. Easily accessible to the pool which was nice. The pool area was well kept and not too crowded, plenty of seating under cover for shade and also in the sun available. A lengthy walk to the beach but not too bad as long as you don’t have to pack umbrellas and coolers! Neighborhood was nice, quiet, and safe to take afternoon walks. Everything around the neighborhood was well maintained and the streets were paved so it made it easy to walk with or without shoes! The only cons I can see about the rental is that the porch was small, only 2 chairs. No deck or back yard but other than that the house was awesome. Plenty of room and supply. Again very clean and well kept. The owners were awesome as well. Any questions or concerns I had prior to arrival was answered very quickly. We tried the red fish taco restaurant and the whole family was pleased with the food. Also the Blue Mountain Bakery was really good. The best cinnamon rolls and we had also tried lunch there and would definitely recommend! Thanks for the stay!!!!

Honeybee by the Sea

We loved our stay at Honeybee by the Sea. The public beach access was about 1 mile from the property. We rented a golf cart to take us to and from the beach. The community pool is large and beautiful. The home is decorated in a gorgeous beach theme, and has all the comforts of home. I definitely recommend booking this location.

A great week away!!

We had an incredible week at Honeybee By The Sea! The house was great for our group and the area was wonderful! We enjoyed the pool on days that were too windy for the beach! Likely covid related - it will be nice when throw blankets can be placed in homes again! We didn’t realize the home didn’t have ANY seasonings or hot pads... I’m used to having salt/pepper/basic seasonings available but we had to grab groceries anyway so we were able to pick up what we needed for the week! Thank you for a lovely getaway for our families!!

Excellent Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Honeybee By the Sea for spring break and were not disappointed! The house is perfect for 7-8 people and is close by to all the fun of 30A. We rented a golf cart and highly recommend. The bikes are a nice bonus too. We met neighbors and got all the inside scoop on the best places to go. The house was super clean and the kitchen items were well-stocked. The only advice I would have is to include beach towels for those people flying. (We drove and had ours, but others may not.) Oversee was one of the best rental companies we've ever dealt with -- the app experience is amazing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Honeybee. The house was clean and well maintained. The open layout of the family room and kitchen was great for our family. The app from Oversee answered all our questions and was a great tool to refer to when needed. The neighborhood was very family friendly and well kept. Although, the beach was a little further than we anticipated, once we got our routine down for packing for a day at the beach we adapted quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved this place!!! Home away from home for sure! Plenty of space for everyone while still very cozy and welcoming! Property management was friendly and easy to get a hold of for questions.
