Genießen Sie eine seltene Gelegenheit, in einem der historischsten Häuser in Grayton Beach - The Smith House zu bleiben. Das Hotel wurde 1925 erbaut und bietet seit kurzem Renovierungsarbeiten mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten, wobei der südliche Charme des alten Grayton erhalten bleibt.

Das Smith House befindet sich im Herzen des spaßigen und funkigen Grayton Beach und ist umgeben von üppiger Landschaft mit alten Eichen, Magnolien und Palmen. Es bietet eine private Oase für Gäste, die alles wollen ... einen kurzen Spaziergang zum schönsten Strand der Welt sowie ein friedlicher Rückzugsort, an dem man jeden Tag beginnen und enden kann.

Das Haus ist im Vintage-Stil Floridas eingerichtet und verfügt über gewölbte Decken und freiliegende Holzbalken. Die Küche ist komplett mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie benötigen, um ein Gourmetessen zu kochen. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein komfortables Queensize-Bett und das Doppelschlafzimmer bietet 2 extra lange Etagenbetten für Kinder und Erwachsene. Das Haus verfügt über mehrere "Smart" -TVs und zuverlässigen WLAN-Internetzugang.

Das Badezimmer ist mit einem Waschtisch mit 2 Waschbecken und einer Badewanne / Dusche ausgestattet. Ein zusätzliches Sockelwaschbecken befindet sich auf dem Flur außerhalb des Badezimmers. Aber der "Gast Favorit" ist die komplett geschlossene Außendusche, die neben der Veranda ist. Geräumig und privat und mit heißem und kaltem Wasser ausgestattet, können die Besucher den Luxus des Duschens in der Natur unter einem Baldachin aus Eichen und Magnolien erleben.

Und die Veranda ... Es ist der beste Teil des Hauses, sicher! Die Veranda erstreckt sich über die Länge des Haupthauses und bietet eine Außendusche, 2 bequeme Sitzecken, einen rustikalen Zypressentisch und ein komfortables Tagesbett zum Lesen und Entspannen. Direkt neben der Veranda ist eine große private gepflasterte Terrasse mit einem Picknicktisch, Stühlen, einer Hängematte und Weber Holzkohlegrill. Dimmbare Deckenstrahler schaffen ein einzigartiges und schönes Essen im Freien!

Der Outdoor Shed bietet 3 kostenlose Strandbikes sowie einen großen Wagen mit Strandausrüstung, die Sie benötigen: 3 Stühle, ein großer Sonnenschirm, Kühler und Strandflöße und Spielzeug. Nach einem Tag am Strand nutzen die Gäste häufig die Fahrräder, um am späten Nachmittag die angrenzenden Strandstädte zu erkunden. Am Abend haben Sie einen leichten Spaziergang zum weltberühmten Red Bar Restaurant sowie einige andere hervorragende Restaurants.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Smith House in Grayton Beach. It was his birthday week and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location, with lots of great restaurants and the beach within walking distance (or a quick bike ride!). The historic house was beautiful, so clean, and had all amenities available to make our stay nice and relaxing. The hosts were amazing - so warm and welcoming with many suggests to make our time in Grayton even more enjoyable. Upon our arrival, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which made us feel right at home. We would love to stay at The Smith House again!!

We loved our stay at this charming rustic historic home in the center of our favorite beach town. From the doorstep it is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The home has had updates to ensure the comfort of the visitors but still retains the essence of the original beach house.Kelly, the host, is fantastic. With her first contact she supplied information about the house and suggestion for local restaurants, attractions and things to do. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. During our stay we had a issue with a smart tv that seemed to have a problem connecting with the WiFi. We contacted Kelly and she came over and attempted to rectify the issue using a phone call to her internet provider but unfortunately that did not work. Kelly then went and purchased a new tv and installed it so that we would would not be without a tv. We would be very pleased to have the opportunity to stay here again.

A Sweet Spot by the Sea

Smith House was an absolute dream! Kelly and Billy were the most amazing hosts and have the house stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The screened-in patio was our favorite spot for breakfast in the mornings and peaceful evenings after a day at the beach! Such a sweet and charming home - we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Vacation House

The Smith House was perfect for our Grayton stay. The home house so much character, while also having all the amenities of home. We loved the exposed wood beams, cozy wraparound porch, and outdoor shower. Everything was clean, and the communication with the owner was superb. The location was great—an easy walk to Grayton restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be staying again!

Lovely House in a great location

We loved the house – it has so much more charm than the cookie-cutter new builds and we were impressed that there have been only 3 owners in it's 100 year history! Kelly has done a great job of maintaining all of it's original character but with all modern amenities. It was well stocked with things such as spices, coffee filters, etc. And Kelly left us a bottle of wine and fresh cut flowers! The house works well for a couple or a family of four but I would not recommend it for 2 couples as the 2nd bedroom is pretty small and has twin beds.The outside area is awesome but unfortunately we didn't really get to use it as we were there in cold weather – in fact it snowed our last day there - the infamous snow of January 2025. We were able to use the bikes quite a few times our first few days before it got too cold. The bikes were great for getting to some of the other communities but there is quite a few good restaurants and bars within walking distance too. Would definitely stay here again!

A Grayton gem!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Kelly's beautiful home for four nights, and it exceeded all our expectations. The accommodations were perfect for us, especially our 2-year-old, who loved running around the spacious front porch, dancing to the music on the radio. The outdoor shower was a delightful bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed. We can't wait to return!

Outstanding

My family was extremely happy with the accomodations. Kelly has done an outstanding job with decorating the home and it feels so cozy. Additionally, everything you could possibly want in a kitchen was included and the rooms, bath and living area were great as well. Staying in early August I was a little concerned about the AC keeping us cool at night but was pleasantly surprised that it worked great our entire stay. All in all, my family had an excellent stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Relaxing stay

The house was just as described, it had everything we needed to feel right at home. The outdoor shower was perfect after a day at the beach and sitting on the porch in the evenings was very peaceful. Great recommendations by Kelly, Morrison Springs a must! We almost didn’t make the drive but glad we did!

Beautiful Old Florida Beach Property

Every single aspect of our stay at Smith House was excellent. The home is a wonderful old style beach cottage with updated conveniences and comfortable furnishings. Everything you need is there, except your swimsuit and phone + charger. The owners couldn't be more thoughtful in preparing the house or more helpful in communicating about what to expect.The adjectives I think of for Smith House are: Gracious, comfortable, perfect for summer or winter relaxing away from the maddening crowd. The beach/ocean also cooperated for our stay offering days of fun in the sun and serf. Lots of good eating and fun within walking distance. I can't think of a thing I would change.

There is so much to do in Grayton, from swimming, fishing, and surfing in the Gulf to playing in the 'pass' at Western Lake. You can try kayaking or Stand Up Paddle boarding - on the Gulf or on the calm waters of Western Lake - and you can snorkel on Grayton's amazing artificial reef structure, just off the State Park. Nearby you can find a world-class water skiing facility, dolphin cruises, freshwater springs, and miles of hiking/biking trails in the adjacent State Forest. Fabulous restaurants are a short walk away, and there is also a little convenience store, a gym, and wonderful shops and galleries just down the street. Grayton's welcoming white-sand beaches are surrounded by State Parks on all sides, and we have miles of off-road paved bike paths along 30A. Grayton is the epicenter of 30A!
