Willkommen im "Four C's Retreat", einem Luxushaus in der angesehenen Strandgemeinde The Preserve in Grayton Beach.  Jedes reich ausgestattete Haus beginnt mit großartigen Außenbereichen und dieses Haus ist keine Ausnahme.

Sie haben mehrere Orte, an denen sich jeder entspannen und die Natur genießen kann.  Speisen im Freien, Räume zum Entspannen und ein Gasgrill runden Ihr Outdoor-Erlebnis ab.  Das Four C's Retreat befindet sich auch beim ersten Betreten des The Preserve, sodass der Zugang zum Strand nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist.   An diesem Strandzugang wurde eine neue Promenade hinzugef��gt, eine von nur drei Promenaden an der 30A. Das Mitnehmen von Strandwagen, Kinderwagen und Kühlern ist daher einfach, da es keine Treppen zum schimmernden Sand des Golfs gibt !!

Beim Betreten werden Sie in dem geräumigen, offenen Great Room mit mehreren Sitzbereichen und luxuriösen Ausstattungsmerkmalen wie Baumwolldecken, Holzböden, Einbauleuchten und hochwertigen Möbeln begrüßt. Dieser Bereich verfügt auch über ein Queen-Schlafsofa, so dass dieses Haus bequem Platz für bis zu 10 Gäste bietet.  Der formelle Essbereich bietet Platz für 6 Personen und die Frühstücksbar für weitere 4 Personen, sodass jeder gemeinsam speisen kann.  Die Gourmetküche spart keine Kosten mit Marmoroberflächen, hochwertigen Edelstahlgeräten, maßgefertigten Schränken und einer Mittelinsel.

Overall, the place was great for our family trip. The location was close to restaurants and the beach. We had an issue with the door code at check in and their after hours call line resolved the issue immediately. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home on 30A! Quiet neighborhood and we really enjoyed the private beach access, which is just across road. Great master suite and bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. This house was very comfortable for our family of seven (room for more!) and we would go back.Blue Swell manages this property and they do let you know that the home will not be stocked with any extras as far as soap or even coffee filters. That is true, so be prepared! We even needed to buy hand soap for the sinks in the house! This varies greatly from rental to rental so you just never really know! Essentially, the guest will need to come with or buy most everything outside of very small travel toiletries provided to get you through maybe your first night or two. One additional piece of information that would’ve been valuable to us is that this is in a gated neighborhood and the HOA technically does not allow golf carts. So if golf carts are an essential part of your 30A trip, be aware of that concern. Otherwise, great stay!

Outstanding Property!

If you are looking for the perfect property for your next vacation this is it. My wife and I and two other couples were blown away by how beautiful the property is, the cleanliness of the property, the quiet neighborhood and the location. Great Location, Great House!

We loved the location of this house. Walk to beach was short and a pretty walk on a shaded boardwalk. We rode bikes to Grayton, Seaside and Santa Rosa. The house itself was so comfortable and well stocked. Beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. We will definitely be looking at this place to stay when we come back in 2 years!

Great all around experience

We've come to 30a 3x this year since it is a relatively COVID friendly destination. What everyone LOVED was the private beach access. It was secluded and the walk there was gorgeous. The house was spacious and comfortable as well. The property manager was extremely responsive and my kids already want to go back.

Great spring break getaway.

Had a great time and enjoyed the property. This was a last minute booking so we were really happy with the process, the cleanliness of the home and the proximity to the beach. The information on the page was accurate, the pictures showed a great depiction of the property. We did have some issues with the AC the first few days but the AC company came out quickly and was able to fix the issue before we went to sleep that same day. Had a great time, would definitely stay here again!

Fun place, needs some upkeep

We stayed for 4 nights at this gorgeous place. There were plenty of amenities (toiletries, towels, etc) and good customer service beforehand. We were prepared for both check-in and -out because of good communication from the company (Blue Swell) via emails. While not directly on the beach, the proximity was close enough to tote wagons containing all our beach items. The only downfall was that the place needs some upkeep. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but this gem needs some deep carpet cleaning (master upstairs), the couch was a bit soiled, and the pillows were flat. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing stay. Thanks for sharing the home with us!

Previous reviews mentioned construction. People showing up at 8am many days to work on balconies. Banging, looking in the windows. We asked the property manager about construction because of prior reviews. They did not tell us the truth, blamed owner. Property needs a refresh. Neighborhood noisy. Construction everywhere. Stay somewhere else.

Family Beach Vacation

Wonderful family beach vacation at this lovely Grayton Beach property. The sea themed decor was beautiful and furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was very spacious and we had everything we needed for large or small meals. Bedrooms were very relaxing and beds were just perfect. Linens - both bathroom and bedroom - were high quality. The entire home was very clean, and there was plenty of room for our entire family (8 adults and 2 children) to move about without being on top of each other. We enjoyed the chairs, umbrellas, and beach equipment, and the walk to the beach was very pleasant and shaded. I'd say it was between a 5 and 10 minute walk. We didn't have any of the problems with the refrigerator that others mentioned, but we did make sure to follow the instructions about slowly adding items over a day or two. The only advice I would give to anyone staying is to make sure the garbage bins are locked down and secured. We had some midnight critters picking over some of our discarded items which made for some clean-up the following morning - definitely NOT the fault of the property managers/owners Overall, we would stay at this property again, and definitely recommend for families of 8 or fewer!

Good overall

Overall the house was very nicely laid out. Rooms were all very spacious and beds were comfortable. However, a couple things stood out. The main floor bedroom with a queen bed has a very distinct moldy smell that is not in the rest of the house. The bunk beds upstairs listed as being a "loft bedroom" were not in a room, but in a nook in the upstairs hallway. It was not what we expected for one of our guests and made for noisy sleeping conditions. Another item that would have made for a nicer stay would be to have just a few more towels available both in the bathrooms and kitchen. Each guest only had two towels and for a week stay and seemed skimpy. The other item that stood out is that the house needs some deep cleaning. Baseboards and shutters are very dusty. For those with allergies, it could be a problem. But the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and appliances. Overall our stay was good. AC worked well if windows kept closed. Beach chairs and boards and kayaks were at house though not listed in amenities...possibly left by other guests. Beach access is not at end of boardwalk but a hundred yards or so down to east. A local explained that the Preserve used to have direct access up till this year but now has to go down a ways to set up umbrellas and such.

A bit underwhelming

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We will caveat our review with this was our first experience to 30A beaches. The positives of this property are that its in a quiet area and outside of some noise from 30A traffic its serene. The pools are close enough - if you want the heated one its about a 10 minute walk from the house, the unheated is just down the block. We had some issues with codes not working after our first day but that was resolved within a few minutes by the on call team. This house is need of some work and updating - the balcony doorknob in master suite was off when we arrived (this was promptly fixed), cabinets and fixtures show lots of wear & tear, there were dead spiders on bathroom ceilings, the hot water tank couldn’t fill the tub in the master suite, TVs didn’t work outside of the living room, floors were beaten up. The TVs didn’t bother us but for others it would have been an issue. There are lots of rules and the list of potential fines is a full page long. Our biggest issue is that the advertised private beach access was not accurate and we ended up driving out to public beaches because it was easier than using the private access for the community. The attendants at the beach were kind and helpful - but the current situation is not what is advertised. If you are planning to use the deeded beach be prepared to walk a mile from the house and you may or may not be able to use a tent. A good portion of that mile will be in the sand. If you have small kids and want to take a cart plan to get a workout in. If you have older kids or lots of adults then this property might work great for you. If you have a younger family you probably want to explore other options or be prepared for trade offs. Our perspective is that we didn’t get great value for the money we spent.

Great location on 30A with open house layout.

The house has a great floor plan with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The listing stated a 'short walk to the beach' which, in reality was over 0.35 mile one-way or about 10 minutes. This may be fine for some, but when you have toddlers, a beach cart, beach bags, etc. over a wooded boardwalk, this is more annoying. That is just to where the beach access starts. If you have a tent of any kind, the beach attendant makes you walk further down the beach to the state park (where alcohol is prohibited) so that the immediate access is reserved for those renting their umbrellas and chairs. The house did provide many items to avoid bringing/buying your own such as beach umbrella, beach cart, beach chairs, boogie board, and pack 'n' play (although with no sheets). and plenty of linens. There was wifi available but had extremely low, intermittent access for the entire stay (continuous error messages stating 'no wifi', 'reenter password') so do not rely on using the wifi for work or fast access. The property was very clean upon arrival for the standard levels of cleaning (floors, bathrooms, kitchen, etc). However, the rental property could use a deep or second-level cleaning such as dusting (all sets of kitchen lights, stair banisters). The listing states a gas grill, however, upon arrival charcoal was in the grill. The gas burners were deteriorated (due to environment? use of charcoal?) so some previous renter used charcoal. However, the gas tank remained chained to the grill where hot charcoals were used. For safety, we opted to skip the grill. Overall, the house was a nice property, but we are not likely to stay here again due to the proximity to the beach and using all our monthly cell phone data in one week.

Loved the neighborhood and area

Loved this location and the area! The dune lake right at the end of the boardwalk was PERFECT for the kids. They were also kind to let us check in a few hrs early. The house did have some nice amenities- a pack n play, 2 kinds of coffee makers, a beach cart and a couple chairs - but there were several things that just fell short. No beach towels. No trash bags/tp/paper towels/laundry/dishwasher soap.... while I understand it's not a requirement it just would have been nice to have more than 1 trash bag for a house for 10 ppl before we could make it to the store. Not even salt and pepper. When people rent a beach house, they normallly plan to prepare meals. I know EVERYTIME I have ever rented a house there is normally a spice cabinet that is added to. There's normally foil and zip locks and just normal things that gets replenished by each family that rents. But it was fine. We spent the extra money by buying everything and left it, which presumably will be thrown away or taken by the maids. We also purchased another beach cart and several toys and left them for the next people. It wasn't a vacation ruiner but definitely a bummer to have to worry about that. The house was tastefully decorated and very quaint but we had several maintenance issues with the property. The first thing was that the previous guests had a pet that peed in the master on the carpet and in a few places in the bathroom and it was not cleaned by the maids before arrival. Will did come and clean it the very same day but it was just gross thinking about what else may have been missed. The internet did not work day 1. Front door knob and another bedroom door known fell off EVERYTIME we opened and closed the door for the first 4 days until maintenance finally came and fixed it. The kitchen sink on the island has a very loose faucet and it leaks very heavily into the cabinet below. The second bathroom shower upstairs leaked onto the floor below all over the linen bench through the motion sensor as well. Every. Time. (Both issues were not fixed when reported) I also think the house could have been cleaned better. The rugs were all stained, spots on the sofa, etc. We rent a lot of houses with our families and all commented the same. If I were the property owner, I would be upset by the way it is being maintained. Guests should not have to worry about these things on vacation. We plan to purchase a home in Grayton the next few months and we will definitely not be using Blue Swell.

Great trip

great location, great house, very comfortable stay perfect for our needs. the private boardwalk was great, beach was fairly uncrowded which was a plus. we used bothbpools and the tennis courts. overall great trip. we will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to 30A
