Condo was nice . Parking is across the street so that's not much fun. Check in staff were not friendly. I guess I didn't understand the process and couldn't understand the lady bc her English was very broken. The beach chairs were great but you only got them until 430 and needed to be in line by 815 to sign up. The tiki bar was worthless and never open. We have come to the beach every year since I was a kid and I'm going on 50. Too many rules at the tidewater I stayed at the summit last year which was hands down twice as relaxing .

Weather was great,room,pool great however we stayed here before and that’s why we came back but your beach chairs are a problem I am cool with most of the rules but the fact you can’t set up an umbrella even on the back row is a little much and also no high back chairs on the back row which affects a lot of older people so not really sure I would come back especially if you have more than 2 people

The place was steps from the beach and we had no elevator wait times. We did go mid August during "down time". The pools were clean, the beach chairs and umbrella were super nice. The extra bedroom with the bunks could use a better door and some type of dresser.

Wonderful stay. Condo has everything that you need to have an enjoyable stay including the added perk of the chair and umbrella rental. Would definitely stay here again.

PCB stay

The room and facility are beautiful. Lots of space, WiFi is works great. Very clean. The elevator situation is terrible and you have to wait for an extensive time for an elevator. We waited for an hour at one time. We had to take 10 flights of stairs multiple times with two babies. The rules for beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach is awful. Watched multiple families have to move inches due to being right behind the line that the chair company makes you stay behind. Security had to come out multiple times.

Building in good shape, Elevators are extremely slow! Make sure to leave in enough time to deal with elevators. One of the king size beds needed a new frame, we requested it fixed twice by calling number given at front desk. Bed never fixed while we were there. View from balcony was great being up on the 10th floor.

Terrible Elevator Service

I waited as long as 35 minutes to get on the elevator. One lady told me she gave up after 45 minutes and had to walk up 16 floors with two kids in her arms a huge dipper bag and some other stuff. The regular wait was typically more than 15 to 20 minutes. We liked the room but did have to call maintenance to repair a dresser and fix a broken bed. They took care of the problems promptly. We'll never stay at Tidewater again due to the elevator waits.

Great place to stay.

We went for a week around high school spring break from NY. The location is great. It’s slightly away from the peer so it’s a bit quieter but still walking distance to food and fun. Plenty of fun things to do at the building and easy to get to the beach. Tiki Bar prices were too high but we just didn’t get drinks there. No real complaints.

2025 after spring break

Clean, neat and organized. Could use more pillows and blankets had enough for 6 guests but if having the 8 guests that the condo can accommodate would not be enough.Furniture was some of the most comfortable we’ve had in comparison to other places. Would have been nice to have a broom to sweep the floors since the vacuum didn’t work. Overall a great stay!!

Too much weed

Rented a nonsmoking facility and couldn’t leave ocean view patio door open due to the weed smoking group next door. Contacted security twice, first time no improvement, second time worked for 24 hours. Third time contacted property management and lasted remainder of our stay which was a day and half. Our condo space, in itself was decorated cute And was very nice.

Interesting

A lot of things were broken in the place, from vaccum cleaner, to pictures, to the shade on the balcony, to main door lock. I love this place and I’ve never had a bad time. But the condo no. The chairs arms in the living room were very gross.

Summer Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Tidewater 1010! We had a couple of small maintenance issues that were resolved within 24 hours which was great. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It does not have a Keurig but it does have a regular coffee pot. I had a couple of questions for the host and they responded immediately. Park on level 2 when you get there. That is where the walkway is where you will walk across the street through the overhead tunnel to check in. There is also a 30 min unloading zone on level 2. The water was closed the first 2 days we were there but we made the most of it and enjoyed both of the outdoor pools. There is a little store that has Starbucks, daiquiris, and Edys ice cream. It is onsite down by one of the outside pools. The other pool has a tiki hut. There are 2 ramps for wagons and 4 stations with hoses to rinse off after a day at the beach. Our room included the beach chair rentals which was amazing! There is also a place to inflate your floats with an air compressor over by the Starbucks area. Overall we would stay here again. Only areas of improvement would be to clean the pools more often—seemed to be a lot of hair in the water. And the elevators were extremely slow. Check in early to avoid the lines. I checked in at 2:00 with no problem.

Terrible

The bed in the second bedroom was good. The balcony was nice. This resort does not have the proper infrastructure to handle the amount of rooms. The elevators are ridiculous and they hold your id hostage to use a cart. Plan on waiting an hour to go anywhere. Taking the stairs isn’t a great option. The cleanliness was so-so. The master bedroom bed is sad you can see the lumps as soon as you walk-in. No blanket for the pull-out. The disposal didn’t work so water backed up in that sink. When your stuck waiting don’t plan to go online or watch a lot of tv as the internet is slow or goes out. For the hype and price you just expect more. Will try something else next year!
