A great location and a spacious apartment with a great roof terrace.

We enjoyed the roof terrace and the kitchen was very well equipped. We would not recommend bringing a car to Aix as you cannot bring the car anywhere close to the apartment .. the parking is available but some 10 mins from rue Clemenceau Owner Laurent very helpful and ftiendly and the flat clean and comfortable

Merci Leslie I know that the parking is difficult in Aix center. It is an old town and the buildings don’t have parkings. It is the reason why I propose the nearest parking at 300 meters from the apartment. Very helpful to avoid to loose your time for finding a place.

The flat was spacious and light and very close to the Cours Mirabeau..however, the flat and its decoration is very tired and need updating: paint is peeling, some plugs are unsafe, when we had a storm water poured into the main bedroom and there was a leak into the second bedroom. The kitchen has an array of plates and cutlery - IKEA, Monoprix, and could do with a full set of everything...Laurent the owner was very responsive with our difficulty to get the WiFi working. There is no wardrobe or window in the second bedroom...

Thank you for your review I am sorry for the leak in the bedroom but the very very big storm is unasual here and I said to the condominium to fix the roof. I have change all your bed linen as soon as you tell me. There is a window in the second bedroom given on the stairs of the terrace and you can open it. Perhaps you don’t find how to open it like you don’t succeed to connect the WiFi … yes plates are from IKEA or Monoprix, I don’t see the problem And finally all the furnitures are like the photos, there is no surprise. I hope you had a nice stay in my apartment and I am sure you enjoyed the wonderful terrace.

Just as described

Location, location, location. It was exactly as described, and as pleasant as could be. I cannot imagine the hosts making it any more easy, or the accommodations any more welcoming. It was in the absolute heart of everything, near the Monopri Grocery, and fantastic people watching on the corner. The only recommendation I have for future guests is to understand that there are no mirrors near a hair dryer, and no dryer for clothes. That being said, I absolutely loved hanging clean wet towels out to dry on the terrace. It had a smell that took me back the to the bathroom in my grandmother's home many years ago.

Once upon a time belonging to a family of locals--two sisters--who have expanded into the vacation rental business, this apartment is exactly as advertised. From the front window in the living room you can hear the symphony of street sounds and catch a glimpse of the storied Cours Mirabeau, while from the terrace above you will experience the blue sky and breezes so celebrated as a hallmark of Provence. This rental includes a well appointed kitchen, comfy furniture, plus two tranquil sleeping rooms. The hostesses are attentive, available as needed. Yes, you do need good fitness to climb to the 4th floor, suitcases in hand, but if this is you, then this is the apartment that will meet and fulfill your dream of an authenic Provençal stay.

Zentrale Lage

Sehr grosse Wohnung, perfekte zentrale und doch ruhige Lage. Alles wie beschrieben vorhanden. Es gäbe das eine oder andere zu reparieren. Auch war die Klimaanlage, die als Heizung notwendig ist, etwas laut, insbesondere weil wir auch in der Nacht heizen mussten. Wir genossen aber sonst die Zeit in dieser Wohnung sehr.

The units are a good way to have air conditioning and heating depending the seasons and sometimes it can be a little bit noisy when you want to reach a specific temperature. Super location.

The apartment is spacious and extremely well situated. It was lovely to have the outdoor roof terrace but as others have commented, the steps are steep making it tricky to carry up food/drink. It would be difficult for children or less mobile to access. The bath is an unusual design as it is quite high off the ground , so you have to step up into it and therefore the distance from bottom to ceiling is not huge so a tall person would not be able to stand up in the bath and use the shower. Laurent kindly put a mirror in one of the bedrooms as having noted from previous comments that there wasn't a mirror near a powerpoint to use a hairdryer. We were also able to enter the apartment early. The towels and bedding had obviously been changed and were cleaned, however, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the apartment. It wasn't just that it needed a clean between clients, it needed a deep clean.

Judith, Merci pour vos commentaires qui me permettront d'améliorer la prestation. Il est vrai que votre entrée à midi au lieu de 16h ne m'a pas permis de vérifier l’appartement comme d'habitude. Je pense que cela me servira de leçon. Si vous m'aviez dis cela lors de votre entrée, au lieu de le dire à la fin du séjour, j'aurai aussitôt envoyé la femme de ménage pour refaire correctement celui-ci. J'espère quand même que le parking de 100 euros que je vous ai offert pour cet inconvénient vous a fait plaisir. En espérant vous revoir dans un de mes appartements avec plaisir, Bien à vous Laurent

Superb roomy apartment in the center of Aix

Our stay in this gorgeous and spacious apartment could not have been better. The location just off Cours Mirabeau was ideal - we even had views of street performers from our window. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The huge bath tub was a bonus. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location, beautiful apartment, lovely owners

We enjoyed a 3 month stay, and felt much at home. The size was perfect for the two of us, and when family came to visit. Great cooking kitchen with bar. Windows open to charming street below. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace daily. A true gem in Aix en Provence gem. We will return

Lovely flat in the heart of Aix!

My family and I recently stayed for ten days--using this flat as our home base for exploring the PACA. It was wonderful! During the day we drove to see the sights and came back home to this lovely open concept flat--then out to the cafes and sights on Cours Mirabeau. Lea was wonderful to work with! We arrived late and left early and Lea was extremely accommodating. She arranged for us to park our vehicle at a parking garage within 5 mins from the flat. Would highly recommend staying with Lea and this flat!

Roomy and comfortable and well appointed

Perfect location for enjoying and exploring this area! All was clean and very comfortably decorated for our needs. Really enjoyed the air conditioning after a warm day of touring. We had some difficulty finalizing a time to get the keys for the apartment so Lea' et Kim set it up for us to pick up everything at a nearby restaurant. I was a bit concerned but didn't need to be! All was there and waiting for us with details and the person at the restaurant was great! Working with Lea' et Kim was terrific! Very responsive and helpful. Only regret was we didn't get to meet them! So, go enjoy this apartment and the wonderful area of Aix and all of Provence!!
