Hi Jan and Lyn, Thank you for your super five star review, we are delighted that you had such a great stay in our villa and that you found everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It is indeed an all year round destination with its location providing excellent access to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and transport facilities for exploring the coast. The amazing walks and views from the village along the boardwalk are something we never take for granted. We strive to provide the lastest technology with super fast Wifi enabling us to offer a wide range of TV choices, which includes an amazing selection of up to date films and all the sport you could possibly wish to watch. Thank you for your review of our villa. We are pleased that you found the property clean and comfortable and that the communications with ourselves and our property manager were good. We are very proud of our 5 star reviews from our guests both on Vrbo and Air BNB and strive to provide a good service for all our guests. We are disappointed with your 3 star rating particularly as most of the issues are out of our control. Unfortunately the summer entertainment programmes organised by Mijas Council are just part of life in the summer season in Spain. This festival was on from the 1st to 3rd of September and is new to the area. It is held approximately 4 km away back in the hills of La Cala and we understand the Arctic Monkeys were part of the festival. Apparently it will be a regular item on the Mijas programme for the next few years and has been popular with many locals and tourists alike. Similarly, we are have no immediate neighbours in our street with noisy pets, and are unable to control how people in other streets look after their affairs. Many years ago we made a significant investment to the access to our roof terrace by erecting a stone and tile staircase with handrail, with which we have had no issues or complaints. We always advise people to take care in the property whilst moving around both indoor and outdoor stair access which is the case in many Spanish homes. Photographs of the staircase access from the bedroom to the roof top sun terrace are available to see on our website. The location of the villa is central to all the village amenities and is very close to the beach. As such, it is bursting with life and a very vibrant place to be in the summer season.
