Hello Alexia, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I wanted to clarify a few things from your statement. Alexia arrived for her reservation at 10:00 am when check-in was at 3:00. She was quite tired from a long travel day and short with our concierge team. They agreed to let her check in early (5 hours) free of charge. Alexia called back a short time later advising she wanted to cancel because the bed was not a queen, the sofa was not a pull-out and there were no blinds on the windows. This is not accurate as Alexia later acknowledged and shown in a video that she took of the unit. Alexia persisted that she wanted to cancel. We informed her that she would have to do so on the VRBO platform. She became increasingly agitated and verbally abusive to our team. Two of our concierge advised that they would attend to speak with her. When they arrived, Alexia had left the property. Alexia gave no valid reason for wanting to cancel her stay and became increasingly threatening in her messages. We offered a partial refund to which Alexia reported falsely to her credit card company that the property did not have the amenities promised. We strive to provide the best experience possible for our guests. Our team works diligently to accommodate requests and fix any issues as quickly as possible. In this case, we needed to respect the cancelation policy given the circumstance.
