Nearly-New, Amazing Views! Near Acadia-Bar Harbor
Spectacular views of Acadia National Park & Frenchman's Bay from every room! This modern, 2,450 sf home that is sunny & bright with an open layout. The house was built in 2019 and the basement was completed, with upgraded finishes, in 2022.
Relax around the fire table after a day exploring the private rocky shorefront, or Acadia National Park. Close to Bar Harbor & everything you need but you may just want to hang out and enjoy the peace & quiet.
We are usually quite prompt by email or text whenever we are awake (6:30 am to 9:30 pm most days). We love talking about Acadia and all its natural and manmade treasures, so we always enjoy interacting with guests. We can direct you to enjoy the area like a local, no matter what you like to do, and we always love hearing about gems our guests find that we have not discovered.
Although we try to think of everything, people’s needs change, and we are always looking to improve the experience.
We have our have our own very private, rocky beach. We are also walking distance to a town beach and park. We often tell people that if they walk the beach everyday, they “may” see a few other people. You can search for sea glass along our shoreline.
The roads in the area also create a nice 2-mile loop that is fairly flat which is great for walking, jogging or biking. Blunt's Pond, a lovely clean freshwater pond for swimming, is a short 3-mile drive.
You will have full access to everything in the house but one owner's closet. You can store bikes in the garage but no vehicles. It is generally off limits unless you need something to restock the house.

KITCHEN (1st floor): Fully equipped, stainless-steel appliances, toaster oven, electric kettle, center island, blender, drip coffee maker, pot or single-serve Keurig coffee maker, coffee grinder, cooking basics, spices, Crock-Pot, popover pans, wok, children’s utensils & suction bowls
BATHROOMS: (1st floor) half bath, (2nd floor) full bath across the hall from bedroom 2, ensuite with bedroom 1, (basement) full bath.
GENERAL: Free Wi-Fi (high speed), central A/C, washer/dryer, laundry detergent, board games, children’s books, baby jogging stroller, booster seat, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, ceiling fans in all bedrooms & living rooms, radiant floor heating (in basement)
SECURITY: External security cameras (around perimeter, facing out)
PARKING: Off-street parking, no RVs or commercial vehicles
A car is a necessity . if you are getting a rental, please realize that both Bangor and Bar Harbor are very small airports and the counter may be closed when you arrive so PLEASE check beforehand. Rental car availability has also been difficult lately so if you need a rental, book soon.
Biking is good near our house and fantastic in the park on the Carriage Roads. We strongly recommend renting the electric-assist bikes.
The house is also equipped with a "Juice Box" EV charger.
After 30 years of renting our little old cottage, we built a brand new, maintenance-free, home using all the experience we have gained over the years. Many have commented that the layout is perfect for a vacation rental and we hope you will feel the same. The basement suite is perfect for multigenerational travelers or two families traveling together.
Cleanliness is a top priority, thus all linens are professionally cleaned off-site and beds are triplesheeted for additional comfort and protection.
