Von den Betreibern von Goose Cove Cottage (181138), einem kürzlich erworbenen Anwesen mit vielen der gleichen Eigenschaften und Annehmlichkeiten. Dies ist ein zweistöckiges Haus im Kolonialstil mit 1.648 m² Wohnfläche. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer (alle im zweiten Stock) und 2. 5 Badezimmer (2 Vollbäder im zweiten Stock, halbes Bad im Erdgeschoss). Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein Vollbad. Eines der beiden verbleibenden Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und das andere über ein Queensize-Bett. Auf Anfrage können Vorkehrungen für 2 zusätzliche Personen im Erdgeschoss getroffen werden. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits der Oak Point Road (Rte. 230) und bietet einen schönen, ebenen Hofbereich (ideal für Kinder). Zur Ausstattung gehören Fernseher und DVD-Player in allen Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer. Folgendes wird angeboten: Kabel, drahtloses Internet, unbegrenzte Orts- und Ferngespräche in den USA und Kanada und mehr. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und alle Bettwäsche sind vorhanden. Bitte erkundigen Sie sich nach zusätzlichen Funktionen oder spezifischen Anforderungen. Diese Liegenschaft befindet sich nur 2 Meilen von Goose Cove Cottage und ist von vergleichbarer Qualität, Größe und Wert. Alle Reiseziele und Hauptattraktionen auf dem Berg. Desert Island durchschnittlich zwischen 15 und 20 Minuten Fahrzeit. In der Nähe von Hummerpfunden, dem Besucherzentrum, dem Damm auf die Insel, Lebensmittelgeschäften und Tankstellen usw. The home was wonderfully maintained and was cozy to stay in. It had everything we needed and the host was very communicative, which was appreciated. We were visiting from out of state and felt the proximity to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Ellsworth was quick and an easy drive. The Oak Point Cottage was wonderful. It was super well equipped, very clean, and accommodated 5 adults easily. We chose it first of all because it was close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The cottage was as cute as the photos and well kept up. The host was VERY helpful and available to answer a number of questions we had before arriving. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful Home for Family

We enjoyed our week vacation to Acadia NP. This Trenton based house is a great location for BH and SW Harbor Area (within 20 minutes drive to both). Accommodations were perfect! The owner was very accommodating.

Luxurious place to rest after a day of great hiking!

Absolutely amazing place to stay! We enjoyed the location and the distance to Acadia. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed and more! It felt like we were staying at a family member's house, instead of a vacation rental. June took great care in making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying there to my family and friends and would stay there again on our next trip to Acadia.

Wonderful quiet nicely appointed and clean

Great rental and host!

We had a great weeklong stay here with our two kids. The house is spacious, kitchen has everything you need (and more!) and the location is convenient to Ellsworth and MDI. June is a terrific host and very responsive. Would highly recommend!

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful week staying in Trenton. The house was close to everything we wanted to visit. My family of 6 adults felt very comfortable in the house. The beds were comfortable, the house was exceptionally clean and well stocked and communicating with June was great. Overall, this is an excellent home base to visit Acadia and Bar Harbor.

June is a fantastic host

Very Nice, Well Appointed Home

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very well appointed with all the cooking, bedding, bathroom items anyone could ask for. We appreciated how clean everything was and how the kitchen was very well laid out for preparing meals. Plenty of room for our family of 7. Great location near Acadia and lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

This comfortable and clean home gave my family a wonderful first experience with Maine. Close to shopping and other attractions. Offerings of a quiet yard and gazebo, gave us plenty of amazing family time and wildlife sightings like deer, turkey, birds and gopher. Relaxing and fun!

I grew up in Maine residing for the first few years of my youth at a lobster pound that my father and uncle operated in Sorrento. My siblings and I spent many hours on the surrounding rocky beach areas exploring tide pools at low tide and developing a love and appreciation for the ocean. The family moved to Mt Desert island in the late 1960's and my father established a business in downtown Bar Harbor. I grew up on the island and spent many of my adult years working at that family business before it was sold in 2000. Though I no longer live in Maine, I am drawn back to the ocean and the unique beauty of Acadia National Park several times a year. I really enjoy having the opportunity to host other visitor's trips to this beautiful region by providing both quality lodgings and information based on my personal knowledge of the area.

Upon first seeing this property, I was taken with its bright and cheery personality--wonderful qualities for a vacation home. Its location and quality are comparable to my other property and will be an option for those who are looking for facilities that are nearby for larger parties or several families traveling together who want separate accommodations.Or, for those who periodically ask if we have any other properties comparable to when it isn't available.
Being from this area and having worked in downtown Bar Harbor for many years, I appreciate the appeal of having a restful atmosphere to return to after a day of hectic activity in order to rejuvenate for the next day's excursions. This is the type of home and location that I personally would choose for a visit to this region.

In addition to being close to Mt Desert Island, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and the other island communities, this property is also equidistant to Ellsworth where the superior grocery shopping is to be found. For those interested in seafood, there are a number of lobster pounds to be found on Rt. 3 just 5 minutes from the cottage. Though the ocean is not visible through the woods from the property, it is actually only about 1,000 feet from the shoreline. Just a few feet down the street is an open field with a view of Western Bay and the "mountains" of Acadia National Park, indicating the cottage's proximity to the ocean.
