 Wenn ich nach Ferienhäusern suche, ist mein größtes Anliegen "ist es sauber"! In 99% der Fälle sind die Vermietungen, in denen wir übernachten, nicht sauber. Einer der Gründe, warum ich Ihnen versichere, unser Cottage ist makellos und bereit für Ihre Ankunft !!!!! Ich drehe die Hütte zwischen jeder Reservierung mit meinem Personal um. Das Goose Cove Cottage in Trenton liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Acadia-Nationalpark entfernt. Wir sind 75 Meter vom Wasser entfernt und haben einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Western Bay und die Acadia Mountains. Unser Cottage ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, um Ihren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.
Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über zwei Hauptschlafzimmer mit begehbaren Kleiderschränken, privaten Vollbädern, Queensize-Betten und Schiebereglern, die sich zum Wrap-around-Deck öffnen. Wir haben ein kleines Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett gegenüber dem Hauptbadezimmer. Es gibt ein großes Foyer, einen offenen Grundriss mit Küche, Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer. Wunderschöne Kathedralendecken, Holzböden und Granitkamin.
Das Loft ist mit zwei Einzelbetten ausgestattet und bietet einen gemütlichen, ruhigen Raum zum Lesen oder Entspannen mit Blick auf das Wohnzimmer und die Bucht. (Dies kann mit Vorankündigung in ein Kingsize-Bett umgewandelt werden)

Verbringen Sie Ihre Tage mit der Erkundung der Küstenstädte von Maine oder besuchen Sie Mount Desert Island mit seinen vielen Dörfern und dem Acadia-Nationalpark. Es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten, darunter Ausflüge zur Walbeobachtung, Bootsverleih, Angeln, Schwimmen, Kajakfahren, Einkaufen, Tennis oder die zahlreichen Wanderwege.

Ellsworth ist nur zehn Minuten entfernt, wo Sie eine Vielzahl von Geschäften und Läden finden. Der Trenton Market Place befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Unser Ferienhaus ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ihre Erkundungstouren, unabhängig von Ihrem Reiseziel. (Wir sind ungefähr 40-50 Minuten von Bangor, Blue Hill, Bucksport, Milbridge oder Cherryfield entfernt.)

Wenn Sie eine Pause von der täglichen Besichtigung benötigen, kochen Sie Ihren eigenen Hummer auf dem Deck mit unserem Dampfgarer oder genießen Sie Steaks und Burger auf dem Grill. Mit diesen Optionen können Sie Ihren Urlaub in vollen Zügen genießen. Hummer und frische Meeresfrüchte sind in der Nähe und vielleicht auch einige besondere Überraschungen!

Diese reizvolle Küstengemeinde bietet auch viele Speisemöglichkeiten. Wir halten Menüs bereit, um die lokalen "Hot Spots" zu zeigen.

Tranquil coastal nice location

Property was spotless! We had turkeys and deer in our yard ....the deck was amazing....we enjoyed every evening out there...also during tides saw the pogis and seals....kitchen was nicely supplied with anything you would need for cooking etc.Only lacking was TP....be sure and get that before you get there.We loved the place and even the notes!!

Breath taking views

This property is simply amazing! We saw seals, birds, even a bald eagle, deer and a family of skunks. One of our favorite things to do was to just sit on the deck. It truly was amazing! It is also close to Bar Harbor, Seal Cove and all the towns so we could explore those too. The house has enough space to accommodate large groups. Communication with the host was great. We will definitely go back.

Awesome view. Disappointing experience

The view is exceptional, and the home’s features were mostly as advertised. However, the stay was impacted by excessive reminders, like notes about removing shoes and labels on nearly everything. Additionally, despite the $1,000 per night rate, basic amenities like toilet paper were limited, which detracted from the experience. Vinyl mattress covers and the requirement to wash and dry our towels (in order to earn a good guest rating) before 10am check out just left a bad taste.

Respite near Acadia

We were fortunate to find Goose Cove Cottage, a relaxing place to unwind while visiting Acadia National Park. This spotless home is very comfortable, the kitchen spacious and easy to work in, with a deck and firepit with water view. The host was very responsive, gave excellent directions; we would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Wonderful property!

We stayed here for our family vacation. It was extremely clean, spacious and the views were amazing! We rented kayaks and had them delivered as suggested by the property owners. Our college aged kids enjoyed kayaking in the cove at high tide. The house has well equipped kitchen, gas grill and fire pit. The location is very private and about 20 minutes from Acadia National Park entrance and the village of Bar Harbor. We enjoyed coming home to our rental house each night to enjoy the peacefulness after our daily excursions.

Amazing Property

We really enjoyed the property. The setting was so tranquil and inviting. We enjoyed watching the clam fishermen dig for clams in the lake behind the cabin when the tide was out.. A first for these Louisiana folks! It was close enough to all of the Bar Harbor activities we wanted to do yet far enough out to be private and relaxing. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property if you are considering a trip to the Bar Harbor area!!

A coastal haven in Downeast Maine

Our party of 5 stayed at Goose Cove Cottage for 5 nights in late July/early August to celebrate our special birthdays.The property is in an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful waterfront location near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park — close enough for daily outings but far from the bustling crowds. The cottage is very spacious and clean, certainly the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. Our group of 2 couples and 1 single person was very comfortable, whether hanging out on the spacious deck overlooking the cove or inside the open plan living area during a rainstorm. We enjoyed using the firepit on a clear evening, just sitting there taking in the gorgeous views as night drew in. The kitchen is well stocked, but we didn’t prepare any dinners there, preferring to dine out at a local lobster pound (the excellent Gateway Lunt’s Lobster Pound, less than a mile away) and in Bar Harbor’s many restaurants. Sugar Bakery is also a short distance from the cottage and is also excellent — they supply to several Bar Harbor establishments. We loved our time at Goose Cove Cottage and would certainly return in future if we plan another Bar Harbor vacation. Highly recommended.

Secluded Home in Trenton, Maine

Very quiet location about 20 minutes outside of Bar Harbor, ME. It’s located on the water with beautiful views but water isn’t accessible due to the type of shoreline and tides. You could possibly have a kayak but it would be challenging. It’s a nice quiet location to get away from the crowds in Bar Harbor but you have to have a car to do anything. It’s about a 15 minute ride to the Acadia National Park entrance. There is nothing physical/athletic to do so all hiking, boating, etc. has to be done in park or Bar Harbor. Would recommend bringing bikes and would only recommend house for adults.

Beautiful Family Vacation!

We really enjoyed our time here! It was a beautiful cottage and so centrally located for all of our activities. We enjoyed lots of time in Bar Harbor, Acadia, at the antiques shops towards Bangor and up in Moosehead Lake. It was so nice to be able to spread out, each with our own room, at a cozy home each night. The hosts were very friendly and respectful. Highly recommend!!

Bill is a small business owner and has always shown an interest in Maine's beautiful waterfront properties. We thought building rental cottages would not only be a good investment but they would allow us to enjoy them as a getaway as well.
We have built two cottages since 2004 and have met wonderful people from all over. This is a great way to invest but also enjoy along the way.

Bill and I love the ocean and this property was the perfect location for our second rental cottage. It has a great view of Western Bay and Acadia Mountains. There is a lot of wildlife in this area and we enjoy watching the seagulls, ducks, deer and the chipmunks as they visit on occasion.
