Shorewood 201 was purchased in May 2019 and the new owners are committed to making some improvements when they come down later this fall after the rental season. This includes a decision on the Queen mattress mentioned in the review. We have reached out to a plumber concerning the drain issue in the master bath. In the future - please know that you can reach out to our office (Seashore Vacations) with any issues like this and we are happy to resolve them.

The owners of this property (Shorewood 201) purchased a brand new upgraded A/C System (Outdoor compressor and indoor air handler) in May of 2019. We have reached out to the A/C company that installed the system to determine if there is an issue that needs to be addressed and (if so) what needs to be done. After the guest reported the issue with the dryer - the owners gave us permission to replace it immediately and also decided to replace the washing machine for safe measure. Both were installed in the condo within 24 hours of the problem being reported. The water heater in this unit was replaced less than a year ago. To address the sulfur smell reported - we reached out to the plumber that installed it to flush the heater, sanitize it and also treat the lines. This service was performed on 8/21/19 which was the first open date since May. It is a beautiful condo with a great view of the ocean and pool. We hope you will come back and stay with us at Shorewood 201.

We do not feel that this review represents Shorewood 201 accurately. Firstly, this guest read their email wrong. In no place does any of our rental correspondence say that you can call or email for the door and gate codes. We require every guest to check-in at our office prior to the unit. This is mainly because we are unable to leave pool passes and car passes in the units because both of them change colors weekly and unfortunately, we do not have the staff to replace every band and car pass in each unit each week. We also do not agree with the comments about the updating and mattresses. The mattresses in 201 have all been replaced recently, with the twin beds being the most recent (late 2022) and the owner diligently updates the condo as needed. We will make sure to take a look at the seal on the fridge and clean out the dryer vent to make it operate properly. However, for future guests consideration, Seashore Vacations does have on-site maintenance that is available during office hours Monday-Saturday for issues to be reported and resolved while guests are still in house. We are disappointed that minor issues affected this guests stay in a negative way, however we do not believe that this review accurately depicts the accommodations found at Shorewood 201.
