Great accommodation for family of 4. Great location, comfy beds and very quiet with good blinds. Minor niggle was lack of a microwave & kitchen cupboard space/layout. Host was quick to respond to questions and very easy to communicate with. Would stay there again.

Beautiful location, great apartment

Had a great time and will definitely think about returning. Apartment was clean and comfortable, ideal for our family of four. Perfect location for mountains and strolling into the beautiful town of St Gervais. Owner was very helpful and accommodating, easy to deal with, no problems, would definitely recommend.

Found a Gem!

Superbly located ski apartment - doorstep skiing. Excellent underground parking car safe & warm. Limitless hot water in 2 showers very warm & cosy feel to apartment. The property & fittings were clean & the lady looking after unit was efficient & nothing seemed too much trouble. Lovely village with numerous shops,bars & restaurants. Would definitely like to stay again.

Close to perfect

The location is brilliant for skiing vacation, the appartment is nicely decorated, well equipped. Only a few things might need to be improved such as kitchen tools (frying pans are too old, too less glasses) but that something easy to fix. The real negative point is on the parking solution. There is no parking available at night since you are not allowed to park inf ront of residence at night. The host is very responsive, that is a good point.

Great stay again!

This is our second stay at this apartment. It is exceptionally rare for us to stay in the same place twice as we love to try different places. However, this apartment is clean, comfortable, good value and brilliantly located for a skiing holiday on the Mont Blanc Evasion - two minutes walk in ski boots to the main gondola up to the Bettex. The ski area is amazing - stunning mountainous scenery, great range of runs, virtually no queues and empty pistes even though we were staying at half term. The owner is very efficient, helpful and quick to respond to any queries. We love this ski area and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area as this apartment is perfect. We hope we find it free next time we visit St Gervais. Fingers crossed....

Fantastic location for easy access to skiing.

The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. Ideal for 4 but can accommodate 6. Huge plus is that the apartment is located less than two minutes from putting your ski boots on (in the communal ski storage room of the building) to the gondola station. Perfect! There is a boulengerie and ski hire shop a few minutes walk away and the village centre is less than 10 minutes - with plenty of places to eat, a couple of small supermarkets and various good shops including, delis, good quality souvenirs, ski wear etc. Skiing in St Gervais was fantastic - plenty of good runs to suit all levels. This great apartment with its fantastic location (coupled with brilliant skiing conditions and empty pistes) provided us with probably the best overall ski holidays we have had. As others have said - a real gem that you want to keep to youself! Would love to go back.

We had a wonderful time in Saint-Gervais and would like to share a few impressions of our stay.Communication with the landlady was friendly, reliable, and prompt at all times, with no delays.Regarding the location, the apartment is about 100 meters from the gondola valley station in Saint-Gervais. When staying here, it makes sense to walk to the gondola. We rented a ski locker directly at the gondola station, put on our skis and equipment there, and then took the gondola straight up to Le Bettex. It would also have been possible to store the skis in the ski room of the apartment building, but for us it was more convenient to rent the locker at the gondola, which worked perfectly.From the apartment, restaurants are easily reachable on foot. The town center of Saint-Gervais can be reached in about ten minutes on foot. The ice rink for ice skating is also very close and can be reached either by car or on foot. Our children went ice skating there every afternoon. For larger grocery shopping, it is advisable to drive to nearby towns, about 15–20 minutes away by car, although everything is also available locally if you keep the higher prices in mind.We left our car in the underground garage, which was convenient and completely unproblematic.On arrival, the apartment was very clean. We additionally booked interim cleanings with local cleaning staff, which we organized ourselves. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need: a dishwasher, an oven (no microwave

In general,we are not prone to write negative reviews, but this time, we feel obliged to warn people

Having read all the good reviews, we booked our holiday here, but the truth is: we were quite disappointed and that’s not because we have such high standards..... Let’s start with the positive: the location is close to the gondola station, so getting to the skiing area is easy. Also the dishwasher is modern and good. Sadly more on the negative side. Sleeping (which is what you mainly use the apartment for, since it is too small to do anything else): The beds are uncomfortably hard, leading to serious backpains. The only exception is the living room sofa that, once extended, takes up most of your living room and looks worn. Since collapsing it back isn’t clear, it means you don’t have a good seating in the evening to look at the very small tv(never had such a small sized tv). Sleeping is further inhibited by the fact that (1) you are just above the lobby with a pool table. So a lot of noice; and balls bouncing off the table and (2) the doorbell is the last switch before the area with the elevators so many people mistake your doorbell for the light switch (with no possibility to turn it off; we checked...). The description of the apartment makes you believe that there is internet (only in the lobby) and a washing machine and tumble dryer in the apartment which is not (perhaps in the building?). There’s however an abundance of decorations (hearts everywhere), mainly in places where you would like to store your belongings. The toilet had an sickeningly sweet smell, but still looked not clean. Also, the second bathroom does have a shower, but with very limited dimensions of the enclosure (70x70 cm) which will cause you to continually bump into the shower lever handle, resulting in a freezing or scalding hot shower.... About the optional “Cleaning package” at the end of your stay. It isn’t. Optional that is. We cleaned the apartment, but still had to pay the entire cleaning package. Reasons: we didn’t clean the toilet, the windows required cleaning and we didn’t put the sofa entirely back in place. We definitely cleaned the toilet, never touched the windows and looked for a manual to fold back the sofa, but there’s none and we didn't want to risk breaking it. The owner didn't show empathy when trying to look for a middle ground. So, since you will lose your deposit anyway, don’t bother cleaning anything and leave the apartment as dirty as you feel like. To us, it was a bit of a sad ending to a holiday we really looked forward to for a long time

Further to your review of my home, my beds and mattresses are less than two years old, the TV is small but is due to be replaced with a larger one late 2017. Unfortunately, I cannot control noise from the lobby area, but noise should be kept to a minimum after 10pm (notices do state this). I do not understand why people would be ringing the door bell to switch on the corridor lights as they are on a sensor to come on automatically with movement! The internet connection does state on the listing/website in the 'reception ' area. The washing and dryer machines also states on the listing/website in the 'communal' area. My soft furnishing are my personal choice and the 'hearts' could have been put in a drawer if you found them to be a nuisance, although there are plenty of hooks to hang your items. The automatic air freshener in the WC could have been switched off, if this was not to your liking! Unfortunately I have no control over the size of the shower as this was built when the building was erected and although it is perhaps slightly small I feel it looks more pleasing to the eye with a glass shower screen fitted than a shower curtain! The 'cleaning package' as you call it has now been included in the price. And as per conversations with you, I trust my agent in St Gervais of whom I have worked with for many years, and your comments towards her were not pleasant. On this occasion, my apartment seemed not to be a good choice for you, and would suggest that you look for a three bedroomed dwelling to accommodate your needs, and hope that you would holiday in St Gervais again which is a lovely place to visit.

Séjour au ski

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce logement très bien décoré et propre à 5 min des télécabines et pas très loin non plus du centre de St Gervais. La résidence est très bien organisée également avec les casiers à ski au sous-sol. Quelques petits points faciles à améliorer: - un deuxième jeu de clé serait très utile quand tout le monde ne skie pas en même temps - mettre à disposition des poêles en bon état et un peu plus de vaisselle Le seul petit bémol était le parking qui nous a été indiqué dans le message d'arrivée et qui est en fait fermé la nuit. Toutes les personnes de cette résidence et de celles alentours ont eu des mots de la police municipale sur leur voiture chaque matin (heureusement pas d'amende) nous disant de nous garer sur un parking public dans le village (à 15 min à pied, avec des enfants en bas âge ce n'est pas idéal)

Super gute Erreichbarkeit zum Skilift.Bäcker paar Minuten zu Fuß. Zentrum gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Leider etwas laut im Haus,da viele mit Skistiefel im Gang laufen. Es hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Haare vom Vorgänger in Dusche und Toilette. Sonst aber sehr gute aus Ausstattung.

Es tut mir sehr leid zu hören, dass die Wohnung nicht dem Reinigungsstandard entsprach, den ich erwarte. dies wird dringend behandelt. Ansonsten vielen Dank für Ihre Kommentare

Séjour apaisant

UN bel appartement bien situé et très équipé, proche de la télécabine pour aller à la station de ski Bettex. Proche du centre ville, nous avons apprécié ce village. Et le propriétaire, très disponible, répond vit à toutes les questions. A bientôt!

Appartement tout a fait conforme au descriptif. Residence agréable au pied du télécabine du Bettex. Équipement complet et logement agréablement decore. Seuls commentaires, manque un peu de couverts (LV tourne plus souvent !), et un MO qui fait grill mais pas four. Rien de bien grave....
