Im Herzen der Landungsstrände der Normandie, des authentischen kleinen Fischereihafens Port en Bessin und des Calvados-Bootsverkehrs, der für seine Jakobsmuscheln bekannt ist und nur 10 Minuten von Arromanches und seinem künstlichen Hafen sowie 10 Minuten vom Omaha-Strand entfernt ist. 10 Minuten von Bayeux, 30 Minuten von Caen, 1h30 von Mont Saint Michel und 3h00 von Paris entfernt.

Wohnung in Port en Bessin komplett renoviert mit High-End-Service, Meer- und Gezeitenblick am Fuße unseres Gebäudes, direkt am Meer und am Außenhafen.
Bei Ebbe können Sie am kleinen Strand vor dem Gebäude auf dem Sand spazieren und anschließend auf dem Fischmarkt, der zwei Minuten entfernt liegt, frischen Fisch und Schalentiere kaufen.
Markt das ganze Jahr über jeden Sonntag und in der Saison auch Freitagabend.

Nur einen Steinwurf vom Fischerhafen entfernt, im zweiten Stock eines alten Fischerhauses, bieten wir Ihnen eine charmante Wohnung von ca. 65m² mit High-End-Komfort und sensationellem Meerblick mit drei großen Fenstern im Wohnzimmer und die küche.
Wohnzimmer mit einer großen Küche mit Essbereich für 4 Personen, die Küche mit sehr kompletter Ausstattung (Pyrolyseofen, Nespesso-Kaffeemaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Waschtrockner, Induktionsherd etc ... ) es ist wie zu Hause !!! und zusätzlich genießen Sie den Meerblick.
Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr angenehm mit seinem gemütlichen Sofa, auf dem Sie das Kommen und Gehen von Booten genießen können, einem Beistelltisch mit zwei Sesseln, den wir vor dem größten Fenster installiert haben, damit Sie das meiste aus diesem herrlichen Panorama herausholen können.

Fabulous apartment with everything you need including an amazing view of the harbour. So easy to park outside and Port-en-Bessin is delightful. Geraldine was extremely helpful and had thought of everything to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

The Best Place

We absolutely loved every single aspect of this VRBO. The location was right on the water, walkable to many local restaurants and shops, easy parking, short trip to Bayeux for the start of D-Day tours. Plus the apartment was immaculately clean, stocked with everything (shampoo, body wash, washer/dryer, laundry detergent, dishwasher, etc.) imaginable. The beds were very comfortable! The view was amazing! The owner was quick to respond and we enjoyed meeting her on her arrival. Truly the best place!! Very highly recommended!!

Normandy trip

My parents and I loved the apartment! It was immaculately clean. With the windows open, we could hear the waves of the English Channel. Many excellent restaurants are within a few blocks’ walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Normandy!

Perfect location in quiet village

We very much enjoyed our stay! Geraldine greeted us upon check in, showed us the house and places to see. She even booked us a dinner at a local restaurant our first evening, which was amazing given our long day of travel. The village is walkable…with markets, shops, restaurants and sea front only a few minutes walk away. The location is great for all the Normandy sites. We look forward to returning soon.

Lovely location by the sea

An enviable location on the Harbour front. A fish market, coffee shops, patisseries and restaurants all within walking distance.Quiet (though no others staying at the time) with easy parking. Super jumping off point for the D Day beaches, Bayeaux and inland Normandy. Very reluctant to leave.

Wonderful two week stay

We had a wonderful stay, this is the place to stay in Port en Bessin. The view from the apartment, sunrise and sunset on the harbor is one we’ll always remember. Geraldine is an excellent host, suggested many sites and things to do while there. Next time in Normandy we plan on staying here again.

A must see location

Beautiful apartment and location

My family and I had a great time in Normandy for D-Day and this apartment was perfect! Plenty of space, view of the sea, and well appointed. Geraldine was so sweet- she welcomed us with D Day gifts when we arrived and also came by to explain the events and apartment details. It is located just steps from restaurants and shops too. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect Apartment and Geraldine was lovely

This apartment is very nice and very well located. Geraldine was a lovely host and very helpful with any of our questions. We rent many vacation rentals and Geraldine has above and beyond with everything to make your stay comfortable. There are so many little extras that are not listed that make your stay so much better (Large mirrors, good hairdryers, a bag to take to the supermarket, coffee and tea, almost every kitchen utensil, etc etc). One of the most thoughtful places we have stayed, we will recommend to anybody and we will be staying again ourselves. Thank you :)

A Perfect Place to Stay

We took a chance based on the photos to stay here instead of Bayeux while visiting Normandy. It paid off. Geraldine is wonderful and explained all the nuances of the unit. The unit was very clean and exactly as described. We had a ball and loved the little historic town. I would come back again and again.

Great location to explore Normandy

Great apartment and great host! The location in Port en Bessin is wonderful for exploring Normandy. You are right in the middle of the D Day beaches and the Mont St. Michel is only 1 1/2 hours drive. Port en Bessin is a quaint sea side town with lots of charm. Geraldine is a wonderful host. She is friendly and very helpful both prior to and during your stay. The apartment is well appointed, very quiet and has a great view overlooking the water.

Beautiful appartment with Harbour View

We havn‘t seen such a nice and clean apartment on our travels. The pictures are absolutely true to reality. Our apartment on the second floor had a fantastic view of the Harbor Entrance. If you need Geraldine she was everytime a phonecall away and provided us with tips for restaurants and excursions. Thank you for two wonderful weeks in Port-en-Bessin-Huppin!

Very clean and well equipped- has everything you need. Great central location for seeing Normandy D- Day beaches, Mont Saint Michelle, Bayeux, Caen, Honfleur and Cliffs of Etretat. Bernadette went out of her way to make sure you felt at home and gave us great restaurant suggestions. Only drawback was stairs to 2nd flloor are spiral and narrow so would take that into consideration If booking and have difficulty with stairs, especially with luggage.

We loved it! Geraldine, the property manager, was fabulous. Very professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. We enjoyed watching the boats go out each morning and the quaint village atmosphere. The locals made us feel very welcome. We will be coming back to Normandy for a longer stay and will be reserving this fabulous apartment! We are very glad that we selected this location versus a hotel in Bayeux.

Paradis entre les deux phares

Port-en-Bessin is a nice little town with a fishing port and many cosy restaurants and shops. The view from our apartment on the harbor and the sea was a dream. The apartment is nicely furnished and the kitchen perfectly equipped. Geraldine is a very kind and friendly hostess. She was always at our side with help and advice and has given us many good tips for excursions, shopping and restaurants. We have spent two great weeks in this paradise between the two lighthouses! Perfect!

Everything about our stay was perfect! Geraldine was a wonderful hostess who truly cares about her guests. The apartment was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. The large windows provided an amazing view of the sea that was hard to leave each morning and a wonderful sunset at the end of each day. So peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is an easy and short drive to all the D-Day beaches and also walking distance to many great restaurants in Port-en-Bessin. We didn’t want to leave and we hope to go back and stay longer next time. Thank you Geraldine!
