This beautiful home at 2309 Ocean Road in the East Beach neighborhood of St. Simons Island features five bedrooms and four baths. This home is marsh front with marvelous views, a private dock, private swimming pool, and gorgeous furnishings. On the northern end of East Beach, the home is also just two blocks (.22 miles) from the Atlantic Ocean. This home is delightful inside and out.
Upon entering the home, guests immediately feel welcome. The open living area features a large den, sitting area in front of a gorgeous fireplace with custom woodworking, a game table, wet bar and gourmet kitchen. The kitchen features a large island, custom cabinetry, professional Thermador gas range and incredible brick hood and surround. A door from the living area connects directly to the outdoor pool. The area is ideal for family gatherings.
The large, private master suite overlooks the pool and marsh. A door from the master suite connects to the covered brick patio beside the pool, a perfect spot for reading, bird watching or relaxing. The large en suite bath features a tiled shower, separate soaking tub, and vanity.
Other interior features include hardwood floors throughout, a large brick wood-burning fireplace, plantation shutters, gorgeous designer furnishings, and much more.
On the opposite wing of the home are three bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a queen bed and one with twin beds. As a benefit for families traveling with children, the home features a bonus room with two sets of bunk beds and two trundle beds plus a "kid friendly" sitting area.
The home’s outside areas are as impressive as the interior. Just off the living area is the zero edge swimming pool overlooking the marsh. A few steps down from the pool area is a gazebo over a brick sitting porch and grilling area. Follow the brick path to the wooden boardwalk that stretches across the marsh to the private dock on the river. The dock is ideal for fishing, crabbing, or jumping! The owners have graciously included two kayaks, which make paddling over to Sea Island’s south beach a breeze.
For an additional fee, the outdoor pool can be heated. Please speak with your concierge for additional details.
This home will allow pets with a $250 non-refundable pet fee.
During the summer season, this residence may require a 7-night minimum and may require a specific check in day of the week.
